This is such a beautiful album and holds such a special place in my heart, so much of the lyrics and experiences that sophie put into this album with her unique vision and personal journey in the world, resonate with me so much. I suggest reacting to Eartheater and Bjork. Eatheater's album Trinity reminds me a lot of "Is it cold in the water"' production. Bjork's Homogenic is a classic electronic / experimental album that should definitely be listened to, immensely innovative and influential.
One of my favorite albums of all time, glad you appreciated it as much as I do. SOPHIE truly left behind such a precious gift with her music and vision. ❤
Fun fact’s about this album: 1. Sophie produced all of this album by scratch without any samples whatsoever 2. When you speed up Pretending at a certain speed you can hear a 20sec short song that was just streched out to make it as an ambient track
@@leod23Also another fun fact that i forgot was that SOPHIE was from Ireland and when you speak the album name in the ireland-accent it sounds like: I love every persons un-insides ❤️ thank you for reacting to this
loved your interpretation of these tracks a lot. this album is very influential a lot of similar ideas are being used in today's music which shows just how Sophie was ahead ahead of her time when she released it.
if you want more experimental electronic / underground stuff i suggest you try getting into Arca. to me, she's the best out there atm. i also noticed you had taylor swift in your recent listens. one artist that i feel she drew a lot of inspiration from in her folk-y projects (folklore, evermore, and the new album) would be Sufjan Stevens specifically his album "Carrie & Lowell". he's very talented and that project is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.
awesome video!! i sugest checking out bjork’s work shes a pioneer in the experimental music world and a crazy good vocalist, going from her debut on would be cool but all of her albums are great lol
