This is adorable! While watching a "practiced/finished" video is great, I love watching your process as you try different things. Of course, it's great when you have many of the miscellaneous bits & pieces available at your fingertips in your craft room (which is magical, btw!). I love your work and always come to your channel for inspiration when I need to make something for a baby shower. Have you ever considered using a pool noodle? They have them in the Dollar store and at Wal-Mart. They’re great to use in place of the paper towel roll and are durable. And, I use less diapers when I use them to make the layers. You can also cut them with scissors to the size you need, one noodle goes a long way. Thanks for sharing your skills. I’ve learned a lot from you.

Thanks! I usually use materials I have in stock. This lantern was from a pack I used to make a horse and carriage diaper centerpiece.

Thank you! I tangle them within each other and since it's paper and the diapers are like cloth, the fibers(?) hold on to it.

I love it! I want to do something for a friend's baby. She is having a boy but no shower. I got Huggins from the extreme couponers and pool noodles. I have no idea what to make.

Thank you! I wouldn't ship it as a gift because it would require some assembly. I would remove the "balloon" and package my diaper cake like it did in my "How I package my diaper cakes" video. Then fold close the balloon and enclose it between 2 pieces of cardboard so it doesn't bend.

If you're referring to the blue ball on top, it's a paper lantern and I got from Party City.
