I knew you were from the uk before reading the name of your channel because I saw the hatchback 1 series in the thumb nail. In America we don’t have the hatch, for a little while we had a small coupe 1 series but it was basically a 2 series
It is a shame as the 4door hatch is quite practical
Every time I see a 140i I’m incredibly sad we can’t get them in the states 😢. I have a soft spot for hatchbacks and wagons

@@NVMotorsportUK Hi not sure but it has switchable maps via the sport button and does pull like a train after 4k rpm. I matched the reg with the vids and the car has NVM stickers everywhere. Still not sure if it has the original clutch or an uprated one, however the service book is fully stamped by NVM??

Did you install a bigger turbo inlet as well? Curious to see if there will be a differnce with a hybrid turbo since the stock inlet tapers down to 50mm.

Yes Dorch Stage 1 flows slightly more than TU

We haven't documented all of those. But 8.5 econds down to 6.2 on 99ron

Is it worth doing port injection on the B58 at stage 2+ level? I imagine it'd allow for results similar to that of the RS3 8V. Or is the OEM turbo restricting it?
Oem turbo is out of efficiency due to turbine speed and iat.. so meth supressing will make it consistent
What tools are you using for the actual tuning? Not BM3 or MHD I am guessing?? WinOLS?
We have our own proprietary tools for comms and logging.

Yes. But not a core... only full as the turbine needs to be bigger so exchange units only.
