    I just got the 41mm for my 05 RK Classic with stock wheel. I'm eventually going to do a 21" front. Am i going to have problems in the future when i do the 21" wheel upgrade?

    What if you do a 18” fat tire. I got the 23” kit. Do I need the 21” travel limiter. 2021 RoadGlide and I’m a dealer for y’all

      @LegendSuspensions  2 роки тому

      Apologies on the late reply, On the 18" fat tire kit that's about 21" over all, however depending on the kit you might not need a travel limiter since since Fat Tire kits front fender actually sits lower than the stock front fender.
      A 21" limiter could be used on the safe side but it will depend on whos kit is being used. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team on this with any additional questions.

    Is it possible to run the 21" cartridge on stock tubes and a 19" wheel? Find myself needing a new front suspension but dont have the front 21" inch yet

      @LegendSuspensions  Рік тому +1

      Hey Don,
      Yes, the Axeo21 can be installed prior to installing a 21" front wheel. You can run it with the 19" wheel, and they do the larger wheel later.
      It will just have a 1" travel reduction with the 19" wheel.

    Can ya do a video specifically about the heritage setup? Its supposed to be a softail touring model but the 28 degree lean angle and limited stock suspension 250lbs states otherwise myself being 275 and my wife 135 makes the bike a little squarely. Lots of coverage on the street bob, low rider, and fatbob but nothing much on the budget tour model .

    2022fltrxs. The back is the Legendary Revoa. The front has been replaced with a 21-inch wheel. I want to lower it by an inch, and I want a better suspension than now. Could you please recommend.

      @LegendSuspensions  Рік тому +1

      Hello-
      Thank you for your business. For the front suspensions if you have added a 21" front wheel on your '22 Road Glide Special, we recommend the 0414-0543 Axeo21 This will work perfectly for your bike and rear suspension. This will have built in suspension sag and will lower your front end and bring your bike back to level.
      The height gained from your wheel and tire will be corrected by this kit.
      This is the part number you can use at any local shop with a Drag Specialties account, a Parts Europe account or Parts Canada account. IF you have any additional questions please feel free to use our chat feature on our website or email us at service@legendsuspensions.com.

      @@LegendSuspensions How many cc should I put in for the front fork oil?

    • @LegendSuspensions
      @LegendSuspensions  Рік тому

      Sorry for the delayed response, UA-cam is hiding comments.
      We recommend taking the ounces recommended and just convert to CC's on google.
      The oil volume will depend on kit selected for the application and the oil volume changes based on that, so We cannot tell you one amount if it will be wrong for a potentially different kit.
      again, apologies for delay.

    Customer blew out the seals on his HD OEM shocks. Repairing his front end by replacing them with Legend AXEOs. Do I need--or should I just as a good practice--replace the seals along with this kit?
    OBTW: Most excellent presentation. Lot of great information for Dealership Tech and/or Parts-Service Counter person.

    • @LegendSuspensions
      @LegendSuspensions  2 роки тому

      Hey Michael, We tend to recommend the replacement of at least seals when installing new suspension. Everything else is new like the oil and cartridges so we feel it is cheap insurance. In a lot of cases we recommend new bushings and seals unless the bike is pretty low miles, say under 10K.
      Thank you for the kind words and glad the video helped!

      Blazer, you should be good to go on that unless you get into a 21" or 23" wheel. Then we start recommending a different kit.

    Axeo Standards drop the front end 1.5" when the sag is incorporated. I wish Legends was more up front about this in videos like this one (Actually I wish their STD height sag was factored in to the cartridge length so the front end sits where it does at stock after install) They have a note on their website now about it, unfortunately I didn't realize this until after my install. They ride good but I am still disappointed

    • @LegendSuspensions
      @LegendSuspensions  Рік тому

      @ryanmitchell4266, Thank you for your business and support. The Axeo High Performance does use a different suspension sag rate over stock suspension. One thing to double check is the height of your fork tubes in your triple tree's as you will want those as flush as possible to net you as much height gain as possible if that is something you are trying to achieve. Factory travel is retained but to get that performance maximized it does sit differently than stock.

    • @ryanmitchell4266
      @ryanmitchell4266 Рік тому

      @@LegendSuspensions By "sit differently than stock for performance" are you implying that the bike needs to be more "nose down" for Axeo's to perform well? Harley rear shocks are 12" - You sell a 13" rear shock so that when your sag is incorporated the bikes rear will sit at the same stock height. Yet with the fronts, what you market as "Standard" replacement sits 1.5" lower, which is changing the geometry of the bike. If 1.5" of sag is needed, then you should be making "standards" 1.5" taller, so when the sag hits, it sits at stock height. I have my tubes less than flush in the triple trees, (which is not ideal) trying to get back every 1/8" that I can

      Hey Raymond, sorry you think that, but you are paying for quality products. Legend Suspensions uses only the highest quality materials along with innovative yet practical designs. There's a lot of hours spent putting into making these shocks and making sure they are the best performing shocks on the market. We will never compromise by using low quality materials or any other forms of cheap manufacturing. We prefer to use pristine, quality materials and components manufactured right here in the United States. Tried, tested, and proven by the best, our suspensions will give you the look and feel that you deserve.

      I got the back shock about 2 years ago. It’s like riding a Cloud. Wife was complaining when we got the new street glide on how much rougher it was then our old bike. We tried a couple different seats and it just wasn’t doing the job. I upgraded the rear shocks and she’s back to loving it as much as she used to.
      We’re looking to upgrade the front shocks This fall. My question is what’s the difference between the
