intro was like 5 minutes long of just you rambling on, if your goal is entertainment, maybe put a few interresting clips of what happened at the beggining or in the middle of the explanation? i would have found it more interresting then i think, can't speak for others though and i'm not a yt specialist.

The insights / outlook of someone who has played as long as he has / with the experience he has is what is intended to be the focus of “experiment”… regardless of any trappings elsewhere. As an example of what I mean…the amount he understands of the game / the experience he has within the game does not change between the ten seconds prior to me trading him 10 mirrors and the ten seconds that immediately follow- despite what his possessions at that moment might suggest
you know that what is rmt right? just look on build and then go exactly doing thing buy mirrors then buy the item by self and there is your build. or ask someone to make the build for him and pay for it. xd so i wouldnt say he is new player, but for surely not good player , belton meant with "new" player i think noob player who cant even make 10 div in hour
Foil mageblood was givin to me at end of last league. You know streamers get lots of help right? Armor stacker is a joke with shit gear. Belton had to loan me real gear to beat maven. This is my first FULL open to close season. Played 2 other leagues for a few weeks.

Also bare in mind streamers / content people playing 6+ hours a day (sometimes far more) and are constantly being helped or given advice or what not by their chat. So the learning curve is much faster time wise on a calendar (but may be the same in / played)- it’s not uncommon for streamers to play 80+ hours a week which might be what a new new player plays in a league. In the context of a game that’s existed for 11 years tho I would very much consider 3 leagues a new player . A “brand new” player wouldn’t be meaningful content anyways as they wouldn’t even have a baseline to operate on. Watxhing someone find out what head hunter was or mageblood was wouldn’t really be insightful as they’d likely just Google “best items poe” or buy the items a guide Told them to. How they spent money wouldn’t be giving insight into a NEW new players thinking process , it would jsut be a gambling video on their best guess and / or an exercise in them parroting the opinions of a guide. Hawg is at that sweet spot where he knows the basics in so far as he can articulate his thinking process with a limited , but existent , knowledge base. (Knowing what Uber bosses are, what crafting is, what major builds are semi popular in contemporary meta , what a mirror item is etc) …this level of experience being far more relatable to most I would imagine… as well as being far more revealing of the stated intention (not to mention something I can actually comment on / provide feedback for…aside from “damn, nice guess”) I will include this as a disclaimer at the end as he Is a streamer so it is a possibility and not super uncommon… however, I don’t want to disparage his efforts if he did earn it- but it is also possible he was given handouts by his viewers at some point especially on standard
I have 996 hours. This is my first full start league, I have dabbled in the end of 2 others. You CANNOT judge a streamers game experience by the gear he has. It’s no where near the same thing. Affliction league folks were so bored and rich they were RAINING currency on me, including magebloods.
I met a new player who had been given some divines from an experienced player (on standard). Problem is, he never told the poor guy what they are or their value. He hadn't used the trade site before, and only ever used the trade chat. He ended up spending something like 20 divines on a 6-linked white sockets Kondo's Pride, for no other reason than he thought it 'looked pretty cool'. The rest I believe went on a normal tabula rasa, because he didn't have any chaos and figured they were roughly the same value. Point is, it doesnt help much if you give stuff for free without explaining anything. If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day - but if you teach him to how to catch fish he will never go hungry again.
I like hawgs content. I dont like that he let his chat get him down with crafting. Being the 4th league myself im finally confident i can craft gear for my build Also for people acting band new i will forever be calling them refurbished.

@hawg_tv true but for the most part standard is monopoly money I would have used that just to learn the crafting basics. Only because you can spend 2 divs to craft yourself a pair of boots that someone is going to charge you 20 divs to make, saving yourself some money. Keep the content up boys

Hey Belton! I also want to start learning to mirror crafting more often. I was able to make my own during affliction for a fire BV. My problem is that no one wants to mirror my craft. The issue that I’m having which also comes up with this video is, ‘how would you even make a mirror craft in standard staring from Hawg’s position when the most popular bow builds already have mirror crafts and any non-meta build mirror craft items wouldn’t even be mirrored” assuming we’re sticking with Hawg’s position with wanting to create a bow. What would your mindset be for mirror crafting in standard?
Hawg is fantastic. I've loved all his content over the last few months. Crafting challenge: make a double essence item for profit. Example: mana ring with 32% lightining damage and 22% global crit with +85 mana. Make that setup as a bounty. It involves 2 or 3 different mechanics and you get a good low cost mid income profit craft.
No PoE is not just currency it’s a knowledge based game. You can give someone 10 mirrors and if they go find a guide can make something that functions at a high level….. If they can follow the guide.
Created my first tripple synth item this league, and i learned most of that knowledge from watching your Yt vids and peeping streams at times when i can. Ty so much big G 💪🏾💪🏾

I know what I would do, I would get a mirrored armour stacking body armour with 20k+ of fire res, farm exp to reach 100, and begin to craft clusters. And of course buying all the awakened gems I would need for my molten strike build.
Hey Belton. Take someone that has trouble getting past 50 div or whatever, and make a vid of you telling them what to do and see how long it takes for them to have a mirror. unless its against tos of course.
So, he had the right idea of "I should use this to learn how to craft something". Mirror Bow was the wrong something. With your experience, what would have been the right something for him to learn how to craft? I was in the chat and a few other things like Flasks or Cluster Jewels were floated, but by that point, he was already a bit tilted from the Bow experience and was shifting into burn it mode.

I was only playing TS on standard and essence craft like all of my gear for so long till a good guy gave me a boost in gear but i can tell that it definitely helped with my perception for the game even tho on low currency just had to farm everything and buy less was more like ssf 😂 but i rly enjoyed how hard was it to even reach a decent dps on the build or learn how to optimize it on low budget cuz of that anyway i think nobody needs to get discouraged bout that if u rly want to play that game standard is a very good think to try shit but obviously leagues are easier to make money 😂
how is anything that can be mirrored possibly worth more than a mirror? is it because people craft it and then dont allow anyone to mirror it so theres no choice but to buy it for more than a mirror? but then someone else could craft it and mirror service it no? im new this is a real question
Why would we leave home, go to a crowded low ventilated arcade, wait in a long line and pay money to play a game we already have at home? Even with no money we went to that arcade and watched. Walked down the street pressing air buttons, practicing combos like we were throwing up gang signs. We are GAMERS and POE is not about the currency.

Yeah, I am playing with a friend. About 1200 hours in total I got. Murdered the exarch (no, not uber) for the first time and had a bit over 100 divines between the two of us in our two people guild. And that only because we found a lock. Many people can't go around farming 10 hours a day and getting the crafting knowledge needs the currency to try out different stuff in the first place. There is a huge disconnect between the upper 1% of players then the next 9% and then People like me, who just hop in every few leagues. That said, murdered the elder with my own silly self made totem arc build so that still feels super nice. Set your own expectations. Don't judge yourself by what the best players/crafters do.

I actually love this content. I started when hawg did cause d4 was a bust and the dude is hilarious and just a good ol boy. Anyway, I feel like I was at a point with poe that I knew enough to get to tier 16 maps and getting a few divines a league but am really lacking when it comes to crafting and the economy. I love the comment you said about learning in standard cause I did just that when Necropolis came out. Made a badass trickster build thats like splitting steel trickster but with frost blades (I just like the feel of FB over SS). Crafted most of ma gear from left over divines and made it into something I love playing and now I feel more rewarded for it cause I made it myself. I'm going to try it next league for sure. I do wish they would make the ancestor tournament core cause that was a safe place for me to learn the game and I made decent currency for a new player. I made I think 80 Divines ma first league just off that. I made 10 divines in affliction....lol anyway got ma sub for this one and will be looking thru your videos to learn some more crafting
How does a new played have a armor stacking build with mageblood but maybe this is why I am poor I never have enough for a mageblood ever and I have played since uh 2018 maybe 16. Well I don't play standard so maybe its accrued over multiple leagues but x to doubt. Well it is a streamer so its possible they do put forth some ridiculous playtime's at max I am maybe ... 150 hrs in a league.
I played 36 hours straight on launch. Slept of 5 did another 28. Some of us do no life path. Just saying. They only thing I want that I cant seem to get is a fuckin orginal sin ... thats my last chase unique ...

If I had 10 mirrors, I would save the 9 mirrors and let it rot to standard. Mirror : divines the one. Follow a sub-200 divine build. Do 40/40 and leaves till next league. I have no incentive from 9 mirrors other than a story of "How I got 9 mirrors in X league."

I am a new player. It’s my 3rd league, first playing from league start. Lees than 1k hours.I’m a streamer and have resources aka a community that gives me shit. It took me legit 5 days to put the armor stacker together and it’s still hot garbage.
In a perfect world, it semi IS about about the currency. But only in that perfect world where builds have choice and player agency is where the currency *enables* you to play anything you want, with a vast array of choices. Sadly Chris Wilson never got that memo. People always say this game is complex and deep. It is NOT. There are hard built into the game at best 3 ways to approach any given build, and often times even those are hard locked behind "must have" unique items. Wanna play an armor based occultist? You *have* to use aegis aurora, because all the alternatives are just objectively worse. Or the squire, I guess. But still my point stands. At the higher ends builds are often limited behind certain either hard to obtain or expensive uniques.
Most skills are shit, look the same or need insane amounts of currency to feel right, for example Cyclone or Blade Vortex, even my favorite Death Oath... Which is insane. Being able to play a skill shouldn't be tied as much to the amount of currency you have. The discrepancy is not only high between high and low investment builds, but also between most of the 270 skills. Over time these get nerfed hard or simply killed off, now most are no longer viable or at least efficient to run. The same goes for uniques, they got changed over the years so much, they're not worth obtaining anymore. They already try to slowly kill off HH and Mageblood too. Meta since like the last 5 leagues shows this inbalance all too clearly. I love BV - spent like 3 mirrors on it last league, probably would have to spend more, if I didn't craft most of my gear on my own or with help of friends, could only afford it because of the insanely rewarding league that we seem to get punished for this season, though, so I won’t be able to do a build like that unless I'll get lucky with a mirror drop one day, or we get another league like Affliction, both rather being unlikely to happen in foreseeable future. Feels bad man. But I still hold hope it'll get better... Unless Chris wants Poe 1 to feel shit, so people would feel like playing Poe 2 is better? It's laughable when G3 and their fanbos claim "build variety", which is only an illusion of choice. Try to tell all of the above to the sweaty PoE fanbois, which consist mainly of no lifers and streamers, they'd love to burn you at the stake. Recently got flamed just by stating I feel burnt out and overwhelmed by all of the changes in this league, that force me as a new player (since ToTa) to unlearn everything that I've learned and teached myself over past year...

Hey Belton! I also want to start learning to mirror crafting more often. I was able to make my own during affliction for a fire BV. My problem is that no one wants to mirror my craft. The issue that I’m having which also comes up with this video is, ‘how would you even make a mirror craft in standard staring from Hawg’s position when the most popular bow builds already have mirror crafts and any non-meta build mirror craft items wouldn’t even be mirrored” assuming we’re sticking with Hawg’s position with wanting to create a bow.
What would your mindset be for mirror crafting in standard?
As someone who plays for a long time and still sucks at getting rich in this game, if you do this again I volunteer as tribute.

Crafting challenge: make a double essence item for profit. Example: mana ring with 32% lightining damage and 22% global crit with +85 mana. Make that setup as a bounty. It involves 2 or 3 different mechanics and you get a good low cost mid income profit craft.
No PoE is not just currency it’s a knowledge based game. You can give someone 10 mirrors and if they go find a guide can make something that functions at a high level….. If they can follow the guide.

I know what I would do, I would get a mirrored armour stacking body armour with 20k+ of fire res, farm exp to reach 100, and begin to craft clusters. And of course buying all the awakened gems I would need for my molten strike build.

I was in the chat and a few other things like Flasks or Cluster Jewels were floated, but by that point, he was already a bit tilted from the Bow experience and was shifting into burn it mode.

I was only playing TS on standard and essence craft like all of my gear for so long till a good guy gave me a boost in gear but i can tell that it definitely helped with my perception for the game even tho on low currency just had to farm everything and buy less was more like ssf 😂 but i rly enjoyed how hard was it to even reach a decent dps on the build or learn how to optimize it on low budget cuz of that anyway i think nobody needs to get discouraged bout that if u rly want to play that game standard is a very good think to try shit but obviously leagues are easier to make money 😂

Yeah, I am playing with a friend. About 1200 hours in total I got. Murdered the exarch (no, not uber) for the first time and had a bit over 100 divines between the two of us in our two people guild. And that only because we found a lock.
Many people can't go around farming 10 hours a day and getting the crafting knowledge needs the currency to try out different stuff in the first place.
There is a huge disconnect between the upper 1% of players then the next 9% and then People like me, who just hop in every few leagues.
That said, murdered the elder with my own silly self made totem arc build so that still feels super nice. Set your own expectations. Don't judge yourself by what the best players/crafters do.

I actually love this content. I started when hawg did cause d4 was a bust and the dude is hilarious and just a good ol boy. Anyway, I feel like I was at a point with poe that I knew enough to get to tier 16 maps and getting a few divines a league but am really lacking when it comes to crafting and the economy. I love the comment you said about learning in standard cause I did just that when Necropolis came out. Made a badass trickster build thats like splitting steel trickster but with frost blades (I just like the feel of FB over SS). Crafted most of ma gear from left over divines and made it into something I love playing and now I feel more rewarded for it cause I made it myself. I'm going to try it next league for sure. I do wish they would make the ancestor tournament core cause that was a safe place for me to learn the game and I made decent currency for a new player. I made I think 80 Divines ma first league just off that. I made 10 divines in affliction....lol anyway got ma sub for this one and will be looking thru your videos to learn some more crafting
How does a new played have a armor stacking build with mageblood but maybe this is why I am poor I never have enough for a mageblood ever and I have played since uh 2018 maybe 16. Well I don't play standard so maybe its accrued over multiple leagues but x to doubt. Well it is a streamer so its possible they do put forth some ridiculous playtime's at max I am maybe ... 150 hrs in a league.
You could farm essences for like 12 hours and buy a mageblood in league.
I played 36 hours straight on launch. Slept of 5 did another 28. Some of us do no life path. Just saying. They only thing I want that I cant seem to get is a fuckin orginal sin ... thats my last chase unique ...

If I had 10 mirrors, I would save the 9 mirrors and let it rot to standard. Mirror : divines the one. Follow a sub-200 divine build. Do 40/40 and leaves till next league.

I am a new player. It’s my 3rd league, first playing from league start. Lees than 1k hours.I’m a streamer and have resources aka a community that gives me shit. It took me legit 5 days to put the armor stacker together and it’s still hot garbage.
In a perfect world, it semi IS about about the currency. But only in that perfect world where builds have choice and player agency is where the currency *enables* you to play anything you want, with a vast array of choices. Sadly Chris Wilson never got that memo. People always say this game is complex and deep. It is NOT. There are hard built into the game at best 3 ways to approach any given build, and often times even those are hard locked behind "must have" unique items. Wanna play an armor based occultist? You *have* to use aegis aurora, because all the alternatives are just objectively worse. Or the squire, I guess. But still my point stands. At the higher ends builds are often limited behind certain either hard to obtain or expensive uniques.
Most skills are shit, look the same or need insane amounts of currency to feel right, for example Cyclone or Blade Vortex, even my favorite Death Oath... Which is insane. Being able to play a skill shouldn't be tied as much to the amount of currency you have. The discrepancy is not only high between high and low investment builds, but also between most of the 270 skills. Over time these get nerfed hard or simply killed off, now most are no longer viable or at least efficient to run. The same goes for uniques, they got changed over the years so much, they're not worth obtaining anymore. They already try to slowly kill off HH and Mageblood too. Meta since like the last 5 leagues shows this inbalance all too clearly.
I love BV - spent like 3 mirrors on it last league, probably would have to spend more, if I didn't craft most of my gear on my own or with help of friends, could only afford it because of the insanely rewarding league that we seem to get punished for this season, though, so I won’t be able to do a build like that unless I'll get lucky with a mirror drop one day, or we get another league like Affliction, both rather being unlikely to happen in foreseeable future. Feels bad man. But I still hold hope it'll get better... Unless Chris wants Poe 1 to feel shit, so people would feel like playing Poe 2 is better?
It's laughable when G3 and their fanbos claim "build variety", which is only an illusion of choice. Try to tell all of the above to the sweaty PoE fanbois, which consist mainly of no lifers and streamers, they'd love to burn you at the stake. Recently got flamed just by stating I feel burnt out and overwhelmed by all of the changes in this league, that force me as a new player (since ToTa) to unlearn everything that I've learned and teached myself over past year...
