I like how Fennec keeps poking them about Omega. She tries to avoid looking curious, but she clearly wants to know what happened with her.
Those meditation sessions between Omega and Crosshair will eventually involve a floating rock, after which Crosshair will correctly deduce why the Empire is after her.
A good one!
I love the fact that we get more Transporter looking ships that are bulky instead of only getting streamlined ships.
As a person that deals with social anxiety I like that Crosshair reacts to Omega making physical contact with him. It's subtle. And it adds a layer to Crosshair for me. I wasn't expecting to identify with him like that. Great character development. Love this show. Team Clones all the way.
As far as the “boats” Cad Bane used one on Nal Hutta in the Hunt for Zero episodes that had Kenobi & Quinlan Vos.

The music that played after fennecs transmission was the ventress theme from clone wars
“Boats in Star Wars” when the Mandalorian visited the planet Trask and met Bo Karan, he was on a boat at the time. I remember your reaction video where you were saying “ BOATS IN STAR WARS, BOATS INSTAR WARS!!! over and over! You were so funny I laughed out loud. At work. And thats when everyone realized I was doing something other than working. #worthit
technically (now that lj mentioned it), i can't think of any of the star wars theatrical releases having a boat. only the streaming shows. even when obiwan was on kamino, not a single ship. i guess anakin and padme were maybe on a boat on their way to getting married but the scene focused on their dialog, not their vehicle.
I adore Omega and Crosshair's relationship. The fact that after Hunter tells her to try and convince Crosshair to get his hand looked at, and then their scene isn't a fight about the hand, just the results post-examination 😭 he listens to her, which we see more of later. I just love them!
Of all the Bad Batch, she was the one that reached out to him the most from the very beginning.

I figured back when they were escaping Kamino that an Omega + Crosshair dynamic would be amazing, but I didn't realize it would reduce me to a puddle every episode.
Crosshair is the one person who missed a season of a show and Omega is explaining who’s who and what happened while they’re watching the newest episode together. Also I bet Phee’s nickname for Crosshair would be Hot Shot.

Din and Grogu were also on a fishing boat when a bunch of squid guys trapped them below the bars and Bo Katan came in to safe them. And also in the last episode of Season 1 when they had to cross the lava river

Yeah i needed a break with this episode since the last two managed to make me happy by showing all the clones in the resistance and then devastating me when we lost like 75% of them
The one of the reasons the bounty target is so creepy is because we've rarely seen the mantis-people since the cantina scene in ANH. Familiarity has made us accepting of a lot in Star Wars species.
Yeah, this is Fennec, what, 30 years before her later semi-redemption ? So she's still full-on in it for the money (not evil, just mercenary).
And I love Omega and Crosshair but it makes me worry for him (i'm worried for _all_ the "adult" Batch members - unless there's a time-jump I _think_ Omega's safe because I just don't see them killing a sweet-natured teenage girl, plus she's a natural choice to show up as an adult in later live action stuff - but we're getting more Crosshair in exactly the same way we got more Tech).
This episode has some serious Apocalypse Now vibes.

Only on Naboo and Cantonica (we see a cruise ship) have we seen boats in Star Wars.
Technically, what we saw in TLJ was more of a super-fancy version of Jabba’s sail barge than an actual boat.

This was a transition episode but I loved it anyway. We are getting a hell of a character development for Crosshair and I’m scared of it.
Gosh, I SO badly wanna see Omega and Hera interact again now that they're both a little older.

I love how ever since Omega found out that she had brothers, that she been the greatest optimist, and being able to see the good in all loving things. I never liked Crosshair. Great character, but I'm a "good guy" guy. However, the redemptive Crosshair is growing on me, mainly because he's become protective AND respectful towards Omega.

the M-Count bounties have to mean metaclorian count. The means Omega is force sensitive or an artificially created jedi.

Din Djarin, and Company took a boat when IG-11 sacrificed himself.
Then again Din Djarin took a boat on Traskwhere the Quarren tried to kill Grogu and Din to get his Beskar.

I know theres going to be people that moan and say this was a filler episode but i honestly dont see it like that. We are still getting important character development showing that bond between crosshair and omega and i reckon the person fennec contacted is ventress which they will lead into next episode.
So far theres not a single episode of season 3 that ive disliked.. im just scared for the upcoming finale and whats going to happen to them all.
People don’t know what filler is.
The episode advanced the story and gives them leads on the main mystery they are working on for the main plot, filler wouldn’t have that.
Sadly Dave has been dealing with that as far back as the early seasons of Clone Wars. Which is weird in hindsight when you consider exactly how much that series has in terms of setup and payoffs. And he has continued doing that down the line through Rebels to resistance to this show all the way to Mandalorian and book of Boba Fett and the other live action series he's helping with. I've said it before and I'll say it again Dave wastes nothing
I don't think she betrayed them. I think she did as she was requested and is directing Ventress(my guess) to them to provide the information they asked for. Being force sensitive, I would imagine she of course knows all about M Counts. My guess is Ventress will show up, have an opportunity to inform The Empire about Omega and her whereabouts, but having a soul, wont do it, similar to her clone wars bounty hunting episode.

Hemlock hasn't been in the last few episodes but I thought about how bad it'd be if Hemlock and Thrawn were to team up. That'd be bad news for the good guys.
