I've used FF for years and new updates change your settings all the time. I accidentally noticed the new PPA setting after the update. I switched it off. I've started using ZEN, which is much more private. AUSTRIA in in EUROPE, it isn't Australia.
companies should be checking for increase of network traffic or sales as a measure for ad performance instead of collecting, or selling any data about individuals or groups ('annonamised' or not). i dont believe that companies need cross-site-like tracking system like the ones provided in the api or using plain javascript. should only ever be first-party tracking, if there's any tracking at all. the only relevancy of ads should be based on page content instead of following you or groups.
I hardly give a single care for advertisers' well-being and success. My purchases are almost always very intentional and specific. YT ends up being the best advertiser as I hear recommendations and ideas from people who share my interests. Google really does have a good thing going with YT, sans the censorship.
@@SwitchedtoLinux you recorded that in a van? Wow, how did you make it so that nothing got into your recording like traffic outside or any of that stuff? It sounds like you're in a soundproof studio
Pale Moon has a few pains, but it's forked from ... gosh, Firefox 25ish? Ollllllld firefox. Though it's not great for UA-cam, so if you have hiccups make sure to dedicate another browser to youtube.
Well, about them only enabling PPA ad-clicking tracking on new installs rather than updates? That's not true. I have been a Firefox user since the late Betas and this setting was enabled without my consent when updating my Firefox. I was furious after I found out, but I decided that Firefox was still the least worse of the regular web browsers. Librefox, the most attractive alternative, was lagging behind on some pretty important security fixes, so I went with hardened FF instead.
Firefox is already to slow on Android. I use Brave browser. If something could do just as good a job as Brave with built-in ad blocking without Chromium then I'd use it but right now no such browser exists.
This is how you disable it in case they hide stuff: about:config 1.st -- dom.private-attribution.submission.enabled - set to false 2.nd -- user_pref("dom.private-attribution.submission.enabled -- set to false 1.st disables it from sending data (still collects) 2 nd disables it even more
Also ad business is useless, because when i run ads on channels i want to supports they want to sell me stuff i do not want. So i do not understand how that is beneficial to anybody. Looks like some kind of scam for me.
Lawsuit is in Austria, not Australia. Different continent
Muricans create confusion between Austria and Australia, idk, for me they are way different
Firefox, you were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the privacy violators, not join them!
😢 It’s Jover my dudes, there is nothing left in the mainstream browser space.
Firefox has fallen and everything else is Chrome based.

@@turtlewax3849, isn't Librewolf Firefox-based?

Ad to the first party tracking. Have an opt out as well for first party ads.

Hey what audio interface are you using to record this and what microphones do you use? Are you recording in a studio or is your room soundproof
