Very cool. I surf once a while because I live vegas. I’m born n raised so cal. Only surf when I visit now. I have my favorite spots in so cal. Where in Oregon is this, looks like fun. I own two longboards. Nice video.
Having surfed for over 50 years, for the life of me I will never understand the "new" generation that films everything. And regarding filming surf spots, particularly in a relatively uncrowded setting of Oregon, why would you try to crowd it out? It is like having 3 pieces of bread and 3 friends to share it and then calling busloads to come have a bite, leaving you breadcrumbs to fight over. Simple logic seems to be overcome with ego likes, and selfies. Is the new gen is too self-centered to understand this simple logic? But conversely one could argue that the "old generation," like myself. was/is too self-centered to share. I live in Oregon for a reason, not Zooport/Scumington Beach, California. Check out that mess & pray it never makes it's way north. Or consider going there and filming the Kookdom in action. Have a nice day
Thanks for watching! I feel what you’re saying however, short Sands has got to be the most famous and most surfed spot on the entire Oregon coast so with a good conscious, I believe my video will definitely not make it any more crowded
I was at short sands this Saturday and it looked like San Diego. About 200 surfers in the lineup. Luckily only 10% of the people were surfing - most were just hanging out and chatting.
I have noted that other videos you are much more protective of giving away spots....well done. Agree, SS is a lost cause in terms of keeping it off the collective radar. People are parking up to a mile away from the lots on the weekend.
So glassy! Great vid.

Is OR super sharky?
Yes absolutely. Check out shark attack data.org. Basically every popular surfing spot on the Oregon coast has had at least one shark attack.
