What an opportunity the internet is for intense but easy discovery, dialoging and reformulating one's view on things, in ways not available ever in the recorded past. The ability to easily find and consider indepth and involved treatments of any subject, especially when those topics can determine one's ability to be freed from deluded mind sets, should eventually provoke a maturing of the general population's intelligence quotient and their ability to analyse things which until now have been too easily influenced by immature non thinking self protecting group thought and dominance by those with ulterior predator like motives.

well at least half of what he said is true... if you can conclusively prove that the earth is spinning, then relativity has also been proven wrong

+Smedley Butler Eh ... where do you people come from with this stuff? I'm genuinely curious. In what conceivable way could relativity (either special or general) be proven wrong by the Earth's rotation. You and +Jeranism are both taking that wrong turn in Albuquerque, I think.

The Quagmire buddy, you realize that relativity states that there is no absolute way to tell if you are moving, or if the object you are looking at is moving right?

+Smedley Butler Buddy, you realize that isn't relativity as in Einstein's relativity but rather simple relative motion, right?
And I'm sure you also know that that is in reference to translational motion ... not rotational, not vibrational.

The Quagmire lol you are funny

+Smedley Butler "Science" for you guys is like picking up a few words you've heard but have no clue what they mean, and throwing them into a blender. If you genuinely cannot comprehend a concept like relative motion, I don't know how you can function as a human being.

Actually, a spinning Earth PROVES relativity:
    1) Buy 2 used atomic clocks on eBay (the HP units were going for about $300 last I looked)
    2) Synchronize them
    3) Take one up a mountain (say Mt. Ranier), and leave the other one down at sea level.
    4) Enjoy a good meal at the lodge up there, maybe a movie, and a nice sleep in the clean, cool mountain air
Maybe that will clear your head, so that when you drive down the next day, you'll realize that the difference in times on your 2 atomic clocks JUST PROVED RELATIVITY. Repeat ad nauseum and get the same results for consistency.
PS just like they did this in space ;)

CAN YOU WRITE ONE FACT OF THE SPHERE BALL EARTH?

Indeed! Why bother educating someone who has clearly given up on sense, logic, observation and rational discourse and who delivers their "challenges" in such a belligerent and close minded way? I can well understand not offering a rebuttal, instead, resorting to humour :)

    Jeranium Dude,
Get your GED, the spinning earth supports relativity, It is because of the relativity compensation that GPS works so well and as you know GPS uses the WGS 84 Datum (Oblate Spheroid math model) Ever notice there isn't a Flat Earth Positioning System, Don't hold your breath, its not coming.
Celestial Navigation doesn't work on the flat earth either. When it was discovered that the elevation angle of Polaris would let your resolve your latitude, Navigators and Mariners tossed flat earth in the dumpster.
Get your GED dude, stop humiliating yourself.
