    It’s harsh reality.. Indians don’t help Indians even they don’t greet to other Indians who are coming from India.. Indias who are already living and settled in abroad they are so judgmental to other Indians.. they think how did you come here … inka bas chale to tumhe yaha rahne na de …. I Had the same experience in usa .. currently I am settled in usa .. only local person who are English man they helped us for everything so please don’t expect for any help from Indians .. as per my experience I am sharing this one .. god bless both of you guys👍

      Yea, I don't know why.. it's very sad tbh.
      They forget their roots and think they are somewhat superior and achieved something in life.. they'll be living like peasants but attitude is on cloud 9. Best is to ignore and connect with the ones who are there to enjoy, help and are positive.
      Like I said, we have both good and bad... what to choose is on us.

      If you are saying English man are good then that is how they were brought up and it's thier culture. We bring our mentality from back home. Our people get superiority complex once they think they are in better position than others. It's not everyone but majority of us are like that. Majority of the people kiss ass of thier boss but are really mean to folks working under them. Shows thier true colors.

    First of all am not commenting on you guys but speaking generally. The thing that I don't understand is when you have a good standard of living in India, when people have their own houses, earning well, everything is going fine for them then why do they plan to migrate to foreign countries? It is not like a son whose family is facing economic problems is going abroad to help out his parents in clearing debt etc. Most of the people don't have such obligations to fulfill still they shift to another country and have to face so many unnecessary obstacles.

    • @lifeintransit
      @lifeintransit  Рік тому

      Hey, i understand your point but there's more to life than a good job and a survival mindset.
      Most of the settled and accomplished people want to move out because they are tired of petty politics, lack of security, scams, poor lifestyle and the fact that ko matter what they do and how much they contribute it'll never be enough and appreciated by the people in power. Their life savings are put on the line and some are now tired of it.

    Welcome to Canada. Infact now a days many things are much easier and new immigrants have more information available to prepare themselves before coming to canada. It use to be much tougher 10 years ago. Expectation of people coming from south east asia is much higher and when they see the ground reality they get a shock. Canada is not like USA and even USA is not what it used to be 10 years ago and what Indians have in their minds. Indian life is lavish and easy with lots of support from relatives, neighbors and friends. Here you will have to do everything yourself even things you have never done back home. It will take sometime to get out from that kingly phase to becoming a common person in canada. Plus the weather will test you too. But still this place is worth it. You will become a tough but a humble human being not dependent on anyone. Don't worry you will be just fine and don't thing about what you had back in India. This is a new world with new experiences so look forward to it and just do your part. Good luck to both of you.

    Is Markham a safe area to live with family ?
    Please advise

    • @lifeintransit
      @lifeintransit  Рік тому +1

      Canada is mostly safe apart from a few selective areas. But there have been incidents post the pandemic which have questioned the security of even the best of areas. So if you ask me, I'd research about cases in the area i'm looking at but as for Markham.. we like it here, it's peaceful and have not faced issues here and hopefully won't. But if you are looking to stay within Indian community you can try Mississauga. If you need nearby Downtown then North York region is the best.

    15:45 - Guys, instead of consistently blaming others for not explaining you about housing, resumes, jobs etc., you should do more research. Who asked you to move to the GTA? Why did you not choose Edmonton? Let me guess - because GTA has better job opportunities, right? If you could do the research on city, why can’t you research on other requirements such as housing, location, food, jobs, resumes etc. You already got an offer from the US, so you must know how to write a resume.
    Do you think that all immigrants here got spoon-fed by their friends/relatives? Come on guys, you chose to move here. Take ownership for your successes/failures. Good luck to you. You will figure out path to success.

      Hi,
      If you had watched our videos you'd know we came in via PNP so we didn't have a province option. Secondly the video is not about "consistently" blaming someone but the fact that sometimes the info that we get is not enough or true to what the reality is and I believe that's important to know because moving a country isn't a joke.
      Secondly about the spoon-fed comment.. no one is asking anyone for any favors and neither did we make the video about it. The entirety of the video is to enlighten people about what to expect and what not to. It takes guts to come out and talk about your bad experiences because everyone else wants to keep a good face to gain attention. So we did that, not for ourselves but for everyone else. You'll find the impact in the comment section and that's real people screaming out what they went through. Just because you expect struggle to settle in doesn't mean you have to forcefully push everyone to struggle just because you did.
      Also, as I mentioned this was part 1 of the video and part 2 talks about our good experience which again helped people to know more which all the "research" channels or forums never covered.
      Thanks again.

    Bhai..I have also just completed my 3 months in Canada on 21st Oct'22..i am also staying in basement and it too costly here in Brampton. You are lucky you got in 1200/- I am paying 1800/- and 30% utilitie. I agree with you on noise and cold in basement but have got very good owner my kids are playing with them and got the good company so actually that matters more to me so I am ok. Rents are crazy these days as everyone said it was around 1200 earlier. I am going though the same phase and happy to connect with you. Let me know..Koi nahi jyada tension nahi leni jo hota Aachen ke liye hota hai..keep making good videos.

      aww.. thanks soo much.. 1800 is very very much but glad to see that you got a great owner to support you. One of my subscribers pinged us recently that they got a place in Mississauga for less than $1400 that too this month. So if you want to change you may have to keep a look out but again it's also important to find good people as yourself and your landlord.

    I live in a condo and the noise problem is pretty similar here. If someone opens any door in my adjacent apartments it feels like its my own door opening. Even if they turn on shower in the bathroom above mine it feels like its my own shower that is on.😂
    I guess you just get used to these sounds after a while.
    So, dont feel so bad about your basement. Even condo has these issues.
    All the best for your first winters. Make sure to wear lots of layers because the temperature fluctuates a lot.
    Also, canadian resume has reverse chronological order. So, put latest education and experience first. And no need to put whole address. Just put your city, phone nmber and email for contact.
    Everything else in the resume is pretty similar.

    Buddy People with family are mostly busy here so maybe not respond to you with spirit. Join some Facebook groups of Indian in Toronto or Canada, you will find many people post very common queries there. You will also find yourself in same shoes 5 years from now. If you don't have north american experience then people usually don't give you the salary you expect, so get whatever is possible in start to meet your needs and grow from there. LinkedIn n indeed are best. Nothing special about resumes but I have seen people add first page to give a brief introduction, I guess it matter in some job.
