First of all am not commenting on you guys but speaking generally. The thing that I don't understand is when you have a good standard of living in India, when people have their own houses, earning well, everything is going fine for them then why do they plan to migrate to foreign countries? It is not like a son whose family is facing economic problems is going abroad to help out his parents in clearing debt etc. Most of the people don't have such obligations to fulfill still they shift to another country and have to face so many unnecessary obstacles.
Hey, i understand your point but there's more to life than a good job and a survival mindset. Most of the settled and accomplished people want to move out because they are tired of petty politics, lack of security, scams, poor lifestyle and the fact that ko matter what they do and how much they contribute it'll never be enough and appreciated by the people in power. Their life savings are put on the line and some are now tired of it.

Welcome to Canada. Infact now a days many things are much easier and new immigrants have more information available to prepare themselves before coming to canada. It use to be much tougher 10 years ago. Expectation of people coming from south east asia is much higher and when they see the ground reality they get a shock. Canada is not like USA and even USA is not what it used to be 10 years ago and what Indians have in their minds. Indian life is lavish and easy with lots of support from relatives, neighbors and friends. Here you will have to do everything yourself even things you have never done back home. It will take sometime to get out from that kingly phase to becoming a common person in canada. Plus the weather will test you too. But still this place is worth it. You will become a tough but a humble human being not dependent on anyone. Don't worry you will be just fine and don't thing about what you had back in India. This is a new world with new experiences so look forward to it and just do your part. Good luck to both of you.
Canada is mostly safe apart from a few selective areas. But there have been incidents post the pandemic which have questioned the security of even the best of areas. So if you ask me, I'd research about cases in the area i'm looking at but as for Markham.. we like it here, it's peaceful and have not faced issues here and hopefully won't. But if you are looking to stay within Indian community you can try Mississauga. If you need nearby Downtown then North York region is the best.
My personal experience.... Indians rarely help other Indians abroad.... Rather misguide and give advice that lead you to the wrong direction.... No idea why but that's the sad reality.

Anyway, your content was extremely relatable. I'm sure you guys are a little bit more settled now but if you need tips/guidance, feel free to hit me up. Yes your friends and family should guide you more in detail but hope everything will be on track soon. Feel free to connect at any moment if you need any help. I work in IT and my wife is a Finance risk analyst. Even apart from work if you want to connect as a friend, you are most welcome.
Hello Sir, Thank you soo soo much. Such messages mean a lot to us. We'd love to connect not only for work purpose but because we like to meet new people specially individuals who are sooo helping. We looking forward to meet you :)
Hello Guys , just watched ur this video. You hv taken me 8 years back . These type of feelings are off course part of ur journey and believe me most of us have gone thru it. I can feel the temporary sadness but it won't be there forever. Yes our Desi people are quite selfish here and trust me the more you explore things urself would be the best . Just don't let the financial stress overcome bcoz then it becomes a bit difficult and stressful. Basements are like that in Canada that's why they are less expensive. The golden rule told to me by one old man Here in Canada only two things are most real 1. Your finances 2 . Your belief Rest all are fake . So don't worry have faith and things will be in ur favour
Omg thanks so much Anant. Honestly we love it here.. truly.. but the rejections and issues with job hunt is really bothering us. Even after multiple interviews and getting good feedback we are still clueless on what to do. The system is sooo weird and sadly they don't want to improve it.
Great couple and great advice from you experiences.. i am sure this will help a lot of new comers. you both vibrate so much positive energy ..May God continue to shower his blessing on you both always.🤲🙏
The moment you said you live in a basement, I shared this video with a friend of mine who lives in a basement in Canada. She shifted there in the start of 2022. Listening to you made me realise this video is a Version 2.0 of the rant that I listen almost daily sitting here in India from my friend living there. Well, all I can say is you are the rarest of the rare case in the Online Content Creation Industry with so much of authenticity about what actually one goes through when someone switches from their home country to another. All the very best for every endeavor of yours. Keep the good work going.🤗👍

I spend 1 year in Markham in featherstone av in 2020 . this is the first place after landing in Canada. But within 5 months I understand that I am paying others home mortgage. So I moved to Alberta in 2021 now I have my own house with same amount of mortgage that I was paying for dark basement in Markham. So my suggestion is don't wast your hard money to pay other mortgage. Because Ontario and BC are super expensive.
Hello Vivek ji, yes, I agree with you. But right now we need to save, earn and invest to get settled and it will take time because we are still looking out for opportunities and have not brought too much with us. We may have to stick here for a year unless we get lucky and things sort out.
oho.. Sir abhi to mil bhi nahin payega.. yahi basement ab 1500-1600 me jaa raha hai. infact humare upar rehne wale 3bedroom ka 2300 de rahe hain. Its all about timing. Please watch our latest video jisme humne inflation aur increasing rent ki baat ki hai.

My best advice to you, just get Canadian Passport (means stay there for 4 years) and get US work visa (call TN visa OR H1), because in Canada employment opportunities will be too competitive and all jobs based in US
@@lifeintransit Yes, I agreed because it's too early, but consider you are living in Canada permanently, and when you will receive your citizenship, plan for that........
15:45 - Guys, instead of consistently blaming others for not explaining you about housing, resumes, jobs etc., you should do more research. Who asked you to move to the GTA? Why did you not choose Edmonton? Let me guess - because GTA has better job opportunities, right? If you could do the research on city, why can’t you research on other requirements such as housing, location, food, jobs, resumes etc. You already got an offer from the US, so you must know how to write a resume. Do you think that all immigrants here got spoon-fed by their friends/relatives? Come on guys, you chose to move here. Take ownership for your successes/failures. Good luck to you. You will figure out path to success.
Hi, If you had watched our videos you'd know we came in via PNP so we didn't have a province option. Secondly the video is not about "consistently" blaming someone but the fact that sometimes the info that we get is not enough or true to what the reality is and I believe that's important to know because moving a country isn't a joke. Secondly about the spoon-fed comment.. no one is asking anyone for any favors and neither did we make the video about it. The entirety of the video is to enlighten people about what to expect and what not to. It takes guts to come out and talk about your bad experiences because everyone else wants to keep a good face to gain attention. So we did that, not for ourselves but for everyone else. You'll find the impact in the comment section and that's real people screaming out what they went through. Just because you expect struggle to settle in doesn't mean you have to forcefully push everyone to struggle just because you did. Also, as I mentioned this was part 1 of the video and part 2 talks about our good experience which again helped people to know more which all the "research" channels or forums never covered. Thanks again.
Bro, Nice video/initiative wherein you didn't sugarcoat things instead spoke the truth exactly the way you experienced it. Would you please tell us, if you landed as a PR or Work Permit Holder? What is the final Canadian Style Resume Format you found? I have my work permit, expecting it soon, therefore, I would also need info and support to find a job and everything. Bdw I am from Delhi.
Things will get fine with time. All the best for you careers… looking forward to see more videos. Don’t worry - GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME- THERE A LOT GOOD FOR YOU PEOPLE IN FUTURE- BEST WISHES♥️ #NeverGiveUp
Hi I like your videos. I also came from Mumbai to the US 10 years back and right now living in Florida Miami. Initially it was struggle but once you settle you love it. Be strong and don’t lose hope.

Bhai..I have also just completed my 3 months in Canada on 21st Oct'22..i am also staying in basement and it too costly here in Brampton. You are lucky you got in 1200/- I am paying 1800/- and 30% utilitie. I agree with you on noise and cold in basement but have got very good owner my kids are playing with them and got the good company so actually that matters more to me so I am ok. Rents are crazy these days as everyone said it was around 1200 earlier. I am going though the same phase and happy to connect with you. Let me know..Koi nahi jyada tension nahi leni jo hota Aachen ke liye hota hai..keep making good videos.
aww.. thanks soo much.. 1800 is very very much but glad to see that you got a great owner to support you. One of my subscribers pinged us recently that they got a place in Mississauga for less than $1400 that too this month. So if you want to change you may have to keep a look out but again it's also important to find good people as yourself and your landlord.

Hello, we are newcomers as pr in canada and just in london, ontario 22 days ago from india but do not have any Canadian exp. Or references,, I did masters in information technology, do I need to any certification in Canadian equivalency. Kindly guide us.
Hey, I don't think so. Not every job requires a dedicated certificate.. don't stress too much on it and just focus on your core skillset and highlight that in your resume and approach.
I live in a condo and the noise problem is pretty similar here. If someone opens any door in my adjacent apartments it feels like its my own door opening. Even if they turn on shower in the bathroom above mine it feels like its my own shower that is on.😂 I guess you just get used to these sounds after a while. So, dont feel so bad about your basement. Even condo has these issues. All the best for your first winters. Make sure to wear lots of layers because the temperature fluctuates a lot. Also, canadian resume has reverse chronological order. So, put latest education and experience first. And no need to put whole address. Just put your city, phone nmber and email for contact. Everything else in the resume is pretty similar.
Hey. Thank you so so much for the inputs and all the points you've mentioned. I didn't know that Condos had a similar problem.. my god that's ridiculous 😂😂

Thanks for speaking the truth. Before you buy a car, check out communo auto .....it's a rent a car & works out similar to buying your own car except that no headache of insurance/ parking. They even put winter tires. We are also new and have taken communo auto until we buy a car which would be possibly after a year.
Yes, that makes sense.. thank you Kavita.. that is a superb idea. we are still juggling whether to get a car or not because as newcomers it'll cost anywhere between 300-600 on insurance alone + the down payment and specially for people who are still looking out for jobs. It's difficult.
In the same boat here but I’d say my landlord is Indian and he has helped us a lot! But that’s Brampton. Also I’d say wait to buy car because even with Indian driving experience I’m paying 470 auto insurance for 2008 civic.
The problem is actually the winters.. i really don't need a car tbh but we fear to be closed out if we don't have a car and want to go out during winters for a change.

hi guys I just followed you. It's good to see that someone from my area is making UA-cam videos. if you guys email me we can work together on this. I have come here with my wife too. being honest relatives are like this only although you can trust your friends for a moment but not relatives. Also, I have some agency numbers with me who are providing jobs in Toronto.
Hey Devansh.. thank you so much for the kind comment. will surely connect.
I moved to the US from India in 2008 and to Canada from the US last year. I can relate to your experiences. That "why are you here" look that some Indians give to other Indians. Myself and my wife are experienced software engineers, let's connect on linkedin.
Will surely do :)
Bro, I completely agree with you. Have been through the same situation 2 years back. Don't worry God is with you and this time shall also pass. Take care and wishing you both luck in your Job hunt
thank you sooo much ji
Takes me back to 2012 when I moved to Toronto. It was so relatable when you mentioned ki apni hi community support nahi karti - in some cases even exploit bhi karti hai. Anyway, your content was extremely relatable. I'm sure you guys are a little bit more settled now but if you need tips/guidance, feel free to hit me up. Like you said, the least one can do is pay it forward to another person who is new here and trying to find their feet. 😊
wow 2012.. I wish I made the move back then..
Thank you so much for the kind comment Manav :).. it really means a lot.

Working on it 🙏
Hello Guys , just watched ur this video.
The golden rule told to me by one old man
Here in Canada only two things are most real 1. Your finances 2 . Your belief
Rest all are fake .
Thank you soo much..
Omg omg.. this means a lot ♥️♥️♥️
Hello brother same story from delhi. My wife already in canada study visa. Or i will come oct end work permit. In delhi i am a youtuber market infulancer.

My best advice to you, just get Canadian Passport (means stay there for 4 years) and get US work visa (call TN visa OR H1), because in Canada employment opportunities will be too competitive and all jobs based in US
That is a sensible but that also means to get citizenship here. Not sure we've made our mind on that this early Sir

Hi,
If you had watched our videos you'd know we came in via PNP so we didn't have a province option.
Beautiful couple MashaAllah, stay strong guys!
Thank you so much ♥️♥️

So if you want to change you may have to keep a look out but again it's also important to find good people as yourself and your landlord.

thank you soo much, yes, you can come as a graduate on a work visa if you can get a job. The other question is too detailed to be answered in comments.
Even if they turn on shower in the bathroom above mine it feels like its my own shower that is on.😂
I guess you just get used to these sounds after a while.

If you don't have north american experience then people usually don't give you the salary you expect, so get whatever is possible in start to meet your needs and grow from there.
