I love when Dennis gets the old school Legends On 🔥
As a 90's bodybuilding fanatic, I enjoyed every minute of this podcast!!
Thank you Dennis for these roundtables. They legitimately make my week.
no problem
@@ZeeOwen wtf are you? Troll 😂

I could watch 24hrs of this podcast with my all time favorite legends telling old uncensored bodybuilding stories. Great podcast DJ!!!
Great to see Toni Freeman 👍🏽💪🏾💪🏾
Dam ... you weren't even Close on the spelling. >_
This is going to be LEGENDARY!!! Thank you for this one Dennis, and God Bless these legends!!! ❤️💪🙏
Dennis seems like a legit nice guy, bet he is a great friend and a funny guy to be around!!! I love these chats with the legends!!!!
These podcasts are are great. Old stories and great advice shared.
Dennis thank u for getting these old school bodybuilding legends on…..keep it up
Great Show today! I,m 1995 Mr.Canada and every topic you guys talked about really hit home. Awesome stuff! I love the fact everyone was so candid and didn’t sugar coat topics! Thanks to all of You!
It's awesome seeing Chris, Tony, Denise, Milos, all collabing!
Fly on the wall listening to these legends.
This is what bodybuilding is. Old school , hard working, and colourful personalities.
They all had their own look and they all had their own strengths . Kevin is on the money with the leveraging platform. The pros these days seem to work less. Maybe I’m showing my age. But the Athletes I look up to are the hardest working . Just as Tony Doherty is one of the hardest working promoters. Old school hardworking attitude will always win
Met the X man Toney at last years Mr O, the guy is ifbb royalty but couldn’t be more humble and welcoming. Glad he is healthy now in retirement.
Kevin kinda.dropped a bomb bout Olympia being fixed for Dorian eh
TONY THE ORIGINAL XMAN!
I REMEMBER WHEN HE CAME TO PHOENIX AND HUNG OUT AT DUE HARD GYM!
Toney should’ve won an O bro
Insane physique
True gentleman as well
An O .... don't you mean The "Y" MCA
@@brainhakker7133 legend 😂
Make sure your tuna was frozen first. The freezing kills the worms.
unfortunately it actually doesn’t
there are studies that have found out that the freezing doesn’t stop them
Tony Freeman is one of the guys I've always looked up to. Just while his personality obviously but most of all his physique. Cuz it took until I was 225 lb to stop looking like a swimmer. Cuz I used to be almost six one. but jumping out of an airplane 120 times , getting blown up , shrapnel . All that good stuff. I'm going back surgeries and all this other stuff. Now I'm 5 ft 10 10 1/2 if I'm lucky. But I stuck at it and I didn't use a ton of stuff and never really have. But it's like years because I was still actively in second range of italian. So I started to do my 10 Mile runs and whatnot even at 245 250 pounds. But there's always that fine line of how my physique could look. I had to be practical. Now an idea when I was getting out I was going to get a little more aggressive with it and then compete but as I stated. Shrapnel was my weakness apparently. And then I thought okay maybe I'll just do classics and then I started getting injuries. But anyway all the rambles. Yeah Tony if you read this this thanks and then also thank you because I even followed you when you're out of the game. Knew what happened. And then I started getting more health conscious about food choices. 205 lb anywhere from 12 to 15% body fat year round using only 175 mg upwards of 200 every 10 days of testosterone just found my sweet spot.Tuesday I still have a desire to do like classic I would never be able to do open because of my rotator cuff her knee is ACL MCL shins right ankle you name it. But even then I knew I probably wouldn't place well. maybe I just want to do it for my experience or for experience just because. Still in the fence like I said because it would be have to be classic cuz I wouldn't be able to pack on the size nor do I want to push the dosages like I said I'm 41. But even his classic I don't know I guess my only saving grace would be like legs aren't that important they're important but genetically that's one of my gifts anyway this is one of the things that really didn't shrink too much through the years of not training. I still have 19 and 1/2 in calves and even when I was skinny down to 180 my forearms were still 17 look like f****** poppie.but my chest has a huge gap like that I believe his name is Austin Carr. But I don't know now I'm just rambling cuz I'm doing speech to text as I'm driving home from work well from the gym
Best show you have put on DJ! Love the stories. Miss the 90’s bodybuilding times. Crazy, fun; insane and fantastic times were had during this era of the sport. Never to be replicated. Thanks for sharing
💯🔥🔥
One of the best podcast out by far 💪🏾💯.
Great show! The competitive knowledge & stories of these men is priceless. Much respect to you all. Body buildings greatest era. Lucky to have witnessed it. Fan for life!
Thank you Tony for beating Polumbo! LMFAO
Guys , we love to see this camaraderie among the old school bodybuilders. Bring different perspectives and cultures together. Keep this content coming.😂
I loved Toney’s physique and was a huge fan of his workout programs in the magazines when I was growing up. I saw him at a Europa show one time and he was huge. Massive.
Another great 👍 session
Met tony walking around in bodyppwer in the uk. What a nice guy and had a photo aswell.
That's why love Sundays!!
Toney was a awesome bodybuilder! Great guy too. Not an arrogant guy at all.
Super down to earth and humble
He changed for the better , enjoying him talking all about health
Great episode
These guys can all make much more money on social media than competing. They all make 10x what you guys got paid to compete just staying at home shooting social media. You don’t need a mr. olympia title to get rich and famous on social media. In fact some of the biggest social media people have never competed
Totally agree they holding clasic back ,they look so flat at times ,clasic comes from your structure suiting it for a start
Shawn rohden had the best of both
Tony is a OG, I learned how to train arms from him.
Just FYI I would pay money each week to watch these episodes. Make as many as possible! As a 36 year old that has been part of the BBing world since he was 12 years old these are gold! I started following BBing in 1998. This is the absolute best podcast because it reminds me of being a young small teen reading about all of you and the contests. I always knew I didn’t have what it takes to be at your guys level so I didn’t focus all my effort into competing rather into learning. I literally never have had a “real job”. I owned a gym for nearly a decade and I have been coaching people for the past 15 years. My initial knowledge came from all you guys articles, every book out there, and seminars.
You sound like you’re a passionate guy about anything he likes! Keep it up, I hope your gym will bring you joy and happiness for many more decades! Keep lifting, stay healthy
Imagine for me.. i started in the 80s.
@@Retics if you’ve been into for this whole time then heck yeah that’s a long time!
@@corneliusparkin2401 , goes so quick! So quick
Love listening to this, all these guys were my hero's.
Daaaaaamn!!!! This is madness. Badass lineup!
Dennis is one my favorites....milos aswell
Cormier is an awesome regular on the show as well
Dennis. Great show. It would be great if you can get Toney back to discuss his healing in more detail.
It Was awesome to hear about freeman!
Best Show i see now in bodybuilding world
Great show
Kevin Levrone used to do 8 guestposings per year and now in 2022 mr.olympia doesnt even do guestposing once a year....
liar
How many guest posing Phil Heath used to do? 🤭🤭 infact, Ramy did 3 guestposing after the O last year.
Another banger!!🔥👍🏿
I still remember seeing Toney on the NO Shotgun ads, badass.
OG s. Bring Toney more on show
WOW, You sound like a wonderful person. I can dig how you present your self and philosophic perspective.
Great show!!
Great episode 👏
need this group back!!
Good to hear how much they were getting, good postcast
4 of the greats, wish Toney competed longer
Love these shows.
Good content.as a 62 years of age Pro Bodybuilder I don’t train super heavy any more I may stop in a middle of my reps or change my exercises up often . This is easier on the body!
Good stories about lost cash in taxi.
So cool Rupaul showed up
One of the best bb pods I've heard
LOVE AT 101% ! It’s a WONDERFUL vid and moment, mad about all of you guys, you’ve made the history in the best part of it ( surely, not missing to refer to “someone else” we can imagine well to whom I’m referring about). But, i mean, all of you had been - at the same time-treats, runners up, rookies and winners by whom to watch at the game as a faceted jewel by multiple sides by each one as different model and inspiration you all have been for years, each one with its peculiarities and own top qualities ( if only my MD Magazine and all the other magazines I ‘ve collected and read over and over again, could speak for me …Oh Lord:what a big deep emotion to see all of you there…)
DENNIS: I love this and what it means so THANKS FROM HEART for this long-deep breath of fresh air among all the trash we are compelled to assist 2day(…)BLEESINGS TO ALL OF YOU GUYS, May Lord watch and protect your paths, your commitment and professionalism. 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝💯💯💯💯💯
[ ps. The content, the stories, the thoughts and reflections ..AND the joy of the moment Kevin jumps in,says SO MUCH (..not to say ALL..)And all the people in the industry should just “Thank” deeply to know today and learn by the wisdom, ( real ) knowledge and avenues you contributed to pioneer in your own part and at your own special way.]
Amazing podcast! 🏆🥇💪
The Menace Podcast Show starring Dennis James. They've got Chris Cormier, Kevin Levrone and Tony Freeman stream live conversation each other by the way. That's all!
You can tell there is some old, bad, blood between Dennis & Toney. Toney says x-frames, names the other two guests, not Dennis. Dennis, "Thanks" LOL
Freeman looks like Ru Paul ffs
You look like an alien
It's business! Clears up a lot
Good shit guys
Great one.
Kevin Levrone is My nr1 idol and role model
I agree Tony, there are loads of parasites even here in the USA.
My girl & i do regular cleansing protocols throughout the year.
Eosinophils on metabolic panel is just one possible indicator.
Flukes must be treated, and are ubiquitous now especially in seafood
Toney was so freaky for his height… it’s tough to pull off the illusion when you are taller to a certain extent.
Yes, Edgar Fletcher. But, also Rory Liedelmeyer. Pro or not pro, one of the best dudes ever… great physique and BIG
IFBB was rough, sleeping in stables. No wonder they were so hardcore
I'd like to interject and add Vic Richard's to the conversation that never turned pro
what i think would be great for the sport in total is for them to kinda pull a fast one on the classic physique class as a whole, raise the weight limit again, (and they have already done it a few times so it will be quite a large increase from the initial weight limits). Then one year drop the weight limit a bunch to near the beginning weight limit for classic. Now you will have a ton of classic guys that have gotten bigger, and they will have to make a choice, drop weight and give up muscle they have put on to mainitain that shape and look of classic, or try to continue mainintaining that look and move up into the open. Suddenly the open will have a bunch of new guys all with the looks everyone wants, and we will get to see how that does, that would be the most exciting bodybuilding season ever!
I love it!
Instant click!
What muscles are we developing now that's different from years ago with modern machines?🤔
I hope you see this, if I missed this, my apologies. Can you explain the slow reps why, how and where? thank you!
Jesus tony loves talking about himself doesn’t he, somehow managed to relate everything back to himself. Very impressive.
He is actually way better than he used to be
Much more open minded, that health stuff did him good
@@lajosnagy6356 He did health stuff? He should have mentioned it. This is an old school bodybuilding round table not a self promo for Tony’s business and how he has a story better than anyone else. Bad personality trait.
I'm almost 20 minutes in and everyone is throwing questions at him right now. The other 3 are regulars. Aaand, i want to hear Tony talk. Nobody has seen him
I asked for the man and myth Mr Kevin Levrone and DJ delivers.
Why noone mentioned Shawn rey
I'm still early on with it but its obvious no one likes him. NOBODY mentions his name
Something about Kevin and flex wheeler gives me a weird vibe.
Lat Spread for the Algo 💪🏼
I disagree the whole why aren't top guys competing. Because they aren't paid. The promoters aren't paying. People aren't attending anymore. You know hard it is to get into Canada not to mention their strictest city of Toronto. It's nuts! Be honest guys
Yes!!
i see Toney smiling on his poster background, but het did not even smile 1 time in this 2 hour video.
1st he says he knows for a fact that he got the parasite from a photo shoot in dirty water and then a few minutes later he says he knows for a fact that he got his parasite from sushi
We need Aaron Baker
🔥
That's the third or fourth time I have heard Kevin tell that story about Joe telling him why he couldn't win the Mr. Olympia, and it still bothers me. It basically tells you Joe fixed the show so the guy he wanted to win would win!
i call BS on that claim
the fact of the matter is Kevin was never good enough to beat Dorian
in 92 he was too small abd backless, in 93 he was off because he was still coming back from the pec tear, in 94-95 he looked great but still not good enough. In 96 he was smallish and flat-peaked earlier that yr at the AC. In 97 he came in off, was in sixth place after prejudging.
Dorian wasnt a marketable guy AT ALL- NOT American, NOT aesthetic, not training under the Weider training principles. Didnt like doing shoots, never smiled and the American audience didnt really relate to him even though they admired his work ethic
The British market was hardly big at the time. If they targeted the European market they could have used more marketable guys like milos
the fact of the matter is by the 90s the weiders had almost no involvement anymore wayne demillia was running the show largely.
As for the other guys Yates beat for the title
Ray was never gonna win given how small he was and how he routinely badmouthed the wayne demillias and judges
Wheeler was too damn inconsistent with his condition, always peaked at the Ironman and AC and came in off at the O
Nasser was gigantic but was amateur level from the back and had a weird structure-shallow from the side and long torsoed w short stumpy legs. He was also balding and a creep who badmouthed everyone on the pro circuit
@@TheLusianPopa So you are saying Kevin is lying, that Joe Weider never said that to him?
@@RonHarrisMuscle he is proly grossly exaggerating or didnt understand what Joe was trying to tell him
not calling him a flat liar
I thought you would have picked Dave Palumbo to be the best bodybuilder, to never turn pro! Come on! He's shape were ridiculous! 🤣👍🏼👌🏼
Come on Chris. The thing you should’ve changed was your party lifestyle.
It's AMAZING how Every single BodyBuilder who's Ever Been On a podcast has taken The ABSOLUTE Bare Minimum of Gear ...... ALL OF YOU are L-Y-I-N-G !!
I don’t exactly know why but I like this podcast so much more than Fouads I think it’s because on Fouads they talk about so much stupid stuff not related to bodybuilding at all this podcast is all bodybuilding
Does toney have a IG
I don't know about Tony's personality, but he's gone in the scone. Some of the things he's states as facts are just ridiculous and defy logic.
Rory Leidelmeyer was the BEST BBer not to have turned pro PERIOD!
Great Podcast, but Kevin has to learn to let others speak too
Pre show colonics standard now 😂😂
Freeman in his prime OBLITERATES ANDREW JACKED.
Milos will compete 2 more times to be king
Don't let him talk lol
Mylos
Damn this guy Milos Sercev talks a lot ! Lol 😂 🤦🏽♂️
👍👍👍
