I'm a retired technical writer. I know how much complicated work goes into making things look simple. This is beautiful and clear! The only thing I think I'd add is an arrow that points to which end goes towards the pump. Because the protector top and bottom look similar, I think that it might be easy for someone to try and connect it the wrong way. Even though it may not fit or work when connected the wrong way, an arrow would help someone avoid some frustration.
