Your babies will love hunting for these one day, in their own garden....maybe a bit down the track. My plants have been on struggle street, but never the struggle bus lol....love it! Thanks Mira x Nell.
I actually liked the first one (at least from what I could see in the video), it was bright snd unique :) I loved the long brown green mushroom, it was so simple yet aesthetic ☺. a Part 2 would be so much fun!
Yes a part two, this is great. You can paint them for the kids with some blocks or pegg dolls. That's my gift for the kids from my daycare. ❤ Youre video's
These look beautiful. I have plaster characters around my pot plants that my eldest son has painted. It adds a little somthing and I love that. Yes please do this again. I loved all your designs.
Part 2, please! I've already started on Christmas and holiday gifts, too. It takes so long to make gifts, but I feel like homemade gifts are the best, especially when you really know someone and their tastes and vibes.
@MiraByler I've made a few cross stitch creations already, and I also have some wooden ornaments begging to be painted. I made family silhouettes on those one year, and this year, I may paint some florals or mushrooms. Or I may just stick to the cross stitch this year and do ornaments the next. I have patterns for each gift already, but I tend to jump between mediums and projects.
I think a red and white checkered one would of been cool, kinda like a picnic blanket vibe. I didn't know I needed wooden mushroom to paint on but now I really want to try it.
I’m loving it! I actually found some larger wooden mushrooms in spring and painted and sealed them for my backyard. I found them a local garden center, they had different sizes and styles too- something like 4”-8”. They are awesome. I love your style choices. Gorgeous❤
Wow! That’s so cool you found large ones. Now I want to find some and do the same. I bought a large mushroom statue for one of my flower beds in the spring. That would be a fun garden theme!!
I love mushrooms, they're sooo... ... mushroomy.😄 What a great idea. The green one was beautiful. Definitely makes me want to have a go. I'd love to see you paint more of these. I'll bet dotting tools would be fun to use for a bit of extra control. Also was thinking thought one with a tartan top could be sweet. 🥰 Thanks Mira.
Neat. Mushrooms are so cute. Im.making some.mushrooms out of polymer clay. These are.neat.too definitely.something I want.to.try. Nature is really fascinating.
I think the checkerboard pattern actually looked ok once you painted the stem that cream colour. If you used different colours for the cap of the mushroom but kept the pattern, it could be cute. Oooh! Maybe keep the pattern the classic red and white picnic blanket, paint a few food/drink items on the cap and then add some tiny little ants in a line, spiralling up the stem to the food? It would definitely need to be one of the larger mushrooms (or maybe buy a giant one specifically for this design? ) but it would be so fun! 😊
I love them all. The folk art vibe is a biggie for me, but I also liked the groovy sixties vibe of neon mushroom #1. (I have such wildly varying likes it's ridiculous, LOL.) The completed set does look more cohesive and will look lovely in the pots. Part deux, please.
❤ this! Would love to see a part 2! I agree about the patterns, Would love to see you do some next time where you do the pattern/design on the bottoms, and keep the tops the solid color...just for fun variety. Could be cool. 🎉
So cute! And I'm glad you redid the first one. I think my favorite is the blue and yellow one =) I have little mushrooms waiting to be painted in my box--they were a surprise find in a dollar store =)
They're so pretty, deffinitly here for part 2, and 3 and 4 and 5! How come your flowers are never wonky or lopsided? Is it because you have done so many? I cannot get one as pretty as yours 😅
Anyone else thinking about the Mushroom Kingdom seeing this? 😅 Imagine a little Mario sitting relaxed beneath one of the mushrooms in the flower pot that would be freakin' cute
This would be so cool to saw them in half and then stick them on a canvas and model some background around them with modeling paste. So it becomes a 3d artwork that you can hang on your wall.
Part 2 please 😊. Is that your secret word, Part 2, for those who watched to the end? 😊 I like that game ❤. I love watching you customize things. This is very similar to your Starbucks cups series, which I also like ❤.
Drawing with waffles painted these several months ago too. It was the first time I saw them. Hers and yours, Mira turned out super cute. Definitely wanna see more. (Also gotta art question since ur more experienced than I am. I have a white fluffy cat that looks alot like the white cat u recently painted in a field of abstract flowers.) Only difference is she has a gray spot on her head and a fully gray ombre squirrel looking tail😅 I think she's a possible turkish van mix if u wanna look it up. Most are orange colored but shes a gray. Anyways my point is...She has a really bright pink skin tone underneath and I noticed u started with pink as a base layer. How do u keep that pink under tone when u start to paint the white of the cat and add the fur? I wanna try painting her soon so any advice would be appreciated 😊
I have a bunch of wooden mushrooms and I need to paint some more! I did a neon rainbow range of mini mushrooms, with a pastel of the color stem. Your first one - I think your checkerboard contrast color wasn’t a good pick. It needed a black, or white, or bold dark blue as a way to draw away but also compliment the neon red. That dark red/ purple ish color just got eaten up by the neon
Mira, I know this wouldn't be consistent with this channel's content, but I would love to see some videos of you talking about these things, like trees communicating!!! That's crazy! And you mentioned in another video a long time ago about mushrooms and how they have underground systems that go for miles! So since I'm sure you won't be doing videos on that on this channel 😂, could you maybe point me in the direction of some channels that do talk about these things? I'd love to learn more about it. It's so interesting!
Great question! I don’t know of any channels. I usually listen to audiobooks while I paint. The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben talks about mycorrhizal networks (mushrooms are their fruiting bodies), and how they impact ecosystems (ie helping trees communicate to better aid their survival). It’s a really fascinating book! I can’t think of any others at the moment, but I also LOVE watching Planet Earth and all those nature documentaries. Oh! Wait! Simple Living Alaska and Roots & Refuge Farm are the two main nature/outdoorsy UA-cam channels I watch. They are mostly vloggers, but they do have good information on foraging and gardening. Sorry if this is a scatterbrained response, haha!
@@MiraByler Not a scatter brained response! ☺️ Thanks! I actually started following Roots and Refuge last time you mentioned them, but I'll also check out the other channel you mentioned, and the book too! Thanks so much! It is a very fascinating topic!
I would have used a clear spray varnish on them just because they will come into contact with water when you water the plants and damp soil at the bottom of the stem. If left as is, they are likely to rot, and that's not something you want around, especially once the tiny ones are mobile and into absolutely everything in arm's reach 😂
I love the checkerboard idea, but I think the fluorescent orange doesn’t work. I hope you do a part 2 of mushroom painting and give the checkerboard a second chance. Overall they’re very cute!
I would love a part 2 also, these wooden mushrooms are so much cheaper on Temu :D infact lots of arty items are cheaper on there too, maybe that would be a great video, a Temu arty haul :D
Oh, yes. Please continue painting on the mushrooms. Anything you chose is fun to watch & fun to listen to you bringing us along. TU! 😊
I love it when you get all folk-artsy! The cottage core mushies are the cutest. A part two would be fabulous.
When you make something, and you don't like it, but you keep on truckin'.
Thanks for including your fails *and* your successes. ❤
I also bought these and painted them. Then I added an eye hook and some twine so I could use them as Christmas ornaments! I love them 😊
What!! That is a brilliant idea!!! How did you add the eye hook?
I'd love a second part. Those mushrooms are so cute.
I didn't mind the checkers mushroom, but you're completely right! repainting it was the best move it looks so good ❤
This is a perfect project for a rainy day or when you want to paint but don't have a lot of time! Love it!
With your love of gardening you should make a fairy garden in your backyard for your kids 😊
When they are old enough to not put everything in their mouths, I would LOVE to! 😁💜💜
yes, please do a part 2😃
Yes to a part 2, and I imagine a fairy house set up would also be wonderful in your style.
I love the mushrooms! I would definitely like to see a part two.
Part 2 please!!!!!!! Lov e the first one❤
Yeeees, part II, pleaseee 🤩
Yes yes yes. Part two!
I love biology too! I love moths and butterflys (spasifily the monarch) and caterpillars and all types of bugs!😊
This gave me huge inspirations for some embroidered, beaded felt mushroom ornaments I’m going to do for my Christmas tree!! 🙏❤️🍄🍄
They turned out so cute, love the green one with the ferns. Yes to a part two! 🍄✨
Your babies will love hunting for these one day, in their own garden....maybe a bit down the track.
My plants have been on struggle street, but never the struggle bus lol....love it! Thanks Mira x Nell.
😮 I need these mushrooms in my life. Cutest thing ever 🤗
These mushrooms were such a vibe and so cute 😊
You know you love this girl when you click on the video faster than you can blink❤
She’s like the only one I click on to watch as soon as I see the alert. Everyone else I get to them when I get to it. But I need Mira!
I know!❤️❤️❤️🥹
Right?! And I love how studio vlogs are just scattered in so it feels like a bonus video every time and I’m like ooh a new video so soon 😍😍
Omg love that the biologist in you thinks I mycorrhizal relationships when doing this ☺️
@@gracekereen yep
Yes!!! A part 2 would be sooo fun!!!🤩
What a cute idea for houseplants! 💕

They turned out sooooo cute! Well done Mira!❤
Those ARE adorable. Great idea.
Your videos bring so much light. Makes a heavy day happy.. thank you ❤

Omg! I would love to see more of these!
These are so cute! I would love a part 2 :)
Yes a part two, this is great. You can paint them for the kids with some blocks or pegg dolls. That's my gift for the kids from my daycare. ❤ Youre video's
The mushrooms came out so cute! And the checkered one made me think of maybe a granny quilt themed one 😊❤
yes I would like to see the part 2
Really cute, would love to see a part two!

Part 2, please! I've already started on Christmas and holiday gifts, too. It takes so long to make gifts, but I feel like homemade gifts are the best, especially when you really know someone and their tastes and vibes.

I LOOOOOVE mushrooms!!! 🍄 And your little ones came out SOOO cute and precious!! 🥰
The begining one wasn't bad, however you can think of it as a warm-up/creative juices starter :) Also yes, would love to see a part 2!
I really want a part 2 ❤❤
I think a red and white checkered one would of been cool, kinda like a picnic blanket vibe. I didn't know I needed wooden mushroom to paint on but now I really want to try it.
