    A few months ago, you saved me a tow and labor when I discovered your video about the fuel pump relay. You saved me again with this video. My wife called me a few days ago that her front AC stopped blowing (rear worked just fine). It's hot in my area of Southern California until November, so I had to repair it ASAP - or I would be driving her car for a while. I remembered your videos and looked for you. I found this video, ordered the part from the local auto parts store. It came the next day and I replaced the part. I elected to not change the wiring harness, it looked ok. I did keep it in case this flares up again.
    Also, I found napkins too!!

      That’s great that you were able to fix it yourself and save money! Even greater that you looked up my channel! Thank you!

    You’re a hero. Great direction, good view, and explained properly!
    I hope this is my issue as well. The air was working, then it would start pulsing no matter what the speed was set at. Today she stopped all together. Thank you for your help!

    I'm going to try this repair myself and I gotta say this is a great video (including the part where you found the CD)! Great editing to get to the important stuff. I also like that you showed your roadblocks and troubleshooting to get to the repair. I'm actually looking forward to trying this.

    Thanks for the video looks to be a fairly easy job luckily for me. Fyi for you or anyone with one of these they love to accumulate water under the cowl because of a really dumb drainage design and will puke water right back into your interior where that blower motor is if it gets really backed up. I can hear mine sloshing inside of there sometimes after heavy rain lol.

    I have a 2010 ford flex sel. The heat or ac doesn't blow. Will blow cold air in the rear ? Any idea what could be wrong.

    • @Tomsfoolery.
      @Tomsfoolery.  3 роки тому +2

      Check for power and ground at the blower motor. If you have power and ground and the motor doesn’t spin, it’s bad. If you’re missing power, suspect the blower motor resistor. Pay attention to the connector. I’ve came across three of them with melted connectors.

    I have heat and ac to the seats ,: Will this fix the heat and ac not blowing through the seats as well? thanks

    • @Tomsfoolery.
      @Tomsfoolery.  3 роки тому

      I don’t believe so. The heated seats are typically heated with an electric grid of wires that heat up when electricity flows through them. So if they’re not working, it’s likely a fault within that circuit.

    I have a 2011 SEL and the AC blows at max speed no matter what you set it to. Could a new resistor fix this problem?

      @yeyis05 Місяць тому

      Mine does also, did you ever find a solution?

    • @flipdry
      @flipdry Місяць тому

      @yeyis05 yes a new blower motor resistor, $60 Dorman brand part off of rockauto, I had the car about 2 years before the water pump failed and I got rid of it as it was $3400 repair to fix it.

    Just stumbled upon this video... you saved me a couple years ago when I found your video on changing the fuel relay on my flex. Loved that I could do it myself ( and loved even more that my husband and his mechanic friend misdiagnosed it and I was able to fix it 😀).... now I have a new problem. My Ac/heat gets hot and cold and fan still runs but I get no air from any of the 4 front vents. Would this be similar to the problem your showing here or something different since the fan is working and will blow up at windshield-defrost area and side vents on doors.

      I replaced the resistor and it is still not working. The 40amp fuse under the hood is ok. I don't see any melted wire or connectors. I guess, I need to check if I have voltage going to the motor... Any other tip?
