Oh how I wish I had gotten down Serious about my Salvation and started walking With God when I was as young as those College Girls!!! It’s truly sad to look back and think about All those years, even with the accomplishments I had, and want to cry at how very wasted they were as compared to what I could have done for the Kingdom of God!!! I think it can be a two-way street. Starting university was a return to faith and church for me. It partly depends on who you meet (and the availability of churches nearby) I guess...

I did also, my step nephew was here. He’s a newly minted soldier in the U.S. Army. I looked at him and out of blue I bluntly asked him if he has been saved. He said depends on what religion? I said it’s not religion it’s a “Jesus” thing. He said he’s an ordained minister in 2 religions..I point blank asked him the exact same question again..ignoring he avoidance. He said no. So I asked him if he would like to be? He said “not right now”. God leads me, probably because I don’t beat around the bush..just like God doesn’t either..neither of us have a filter lol. But be blunt ladies and gentlemen, get it out there! Obviously, you can’t force anyone to come to our Lord and savior. Free will. Definitely. When I was about their age, I started to embrace Christianity. Long story short, I met and dated a guy who was the complete opposite. He may as well considered himself an atheist. He was attending a local college and I knew that he was being taught contrary beliefs against Christianity just by what he was telling me and him not believing in hell and heaven. And then he tried to influence me with psychology and other things offensive to what God had for me. I finally got tired of him and all his weird nonsense and gave him the boot. I''m in my 60's and still love walking with the Lord. I hope these young ladies keep an open heart to the gospel and experience His goodness and grace. 🙏

There's a difference between our corporeal body and our immortal soul (The electrical energy that makes up our conciousness). When our corporeal shell dies (heart stops) the electrical energy in our brain doesn't die - energy doesn't cease to exist, energy changes states. So imagine your conciousness, that perceives existance through the 5 sense, suddenly perceives creation and God in our immortal state..... We are immortal beings. Corporeal life is transitory, our conciousness persists after our body dies. Our creator gives free will, and desires that we seek him out willingly. If you know Him, your life changes, and where your immortal soul spends eternity with Him and all the millions who followed Him before us.
Jesus didn't just die for our sins. He SUFFERED and died. It's the worst part of the price He paid to ransom us and should be a huge factor in our conviction leading to repentance.

By man yielding to temptation, he breaks the command of his perfect Creator, the Lord Almighty. This results in mankind's death. But the Lord redeems mankind through the person of Jesus Christ in his death on the cross, even though He didn't deserve death because he hadn't sinned. Then his resurrection proves he's the son of God and served as a first fruit. That means all who trust in his atonement will die, but eventually be resurrected as well, to eternal life with him in heaven. Satan clearly doesn't want to see this redemptive plan pan out. Going to college (secular) is where I really began to grow in my faith. I read tons of books about creation/scientific evidence in the Bible etc. I had always believed God & Jesus were real, I just didn’t know why. College was amazing. I still have these godly friends to this day.

We are so naive. We trust in our youth and health but it’s temporary and beauty and health will eventually fade. Age and death will seize upon us. We will lose everything and everyone we hold dear. At that point we will suddenly fear death even though we denied it in our youth.

I understand where you're coming from, whenever we preach about God it needs to come from true love. Some preachers have been affected by religion not God's love (religion is like the Pharisees who were the very ones who killed Jesus, they were all about rules and missed the entire point of why the rules were put in place - love). A friend and I both do evangelism. I love doing the walking and personal talking types of evangelism. He loves going and standing on the street preaching about what God hates in the world. I feel like street preaching is important cuz it makes sure everyone hears the Gospel, but many like my friend just use it to get noticed and feel attacked. It hurts to see how he lacks what Jesus says we all need, love.

Definitely. When I was about their age, I started to embrace Christianity. Long story short, I met and dated a guy who was the complete opposite. He may as well considered himself an atheist. He was attending a local college and I knew that he was being taught contrary beliefs against Christianity just by what he was telling me and him not believing in hell and heaven. And then he tried to influence me with psychology and other things offensive to what God had for me. I finally got tired of him and all his weird nonsense and gave him the boot. I''m in my 60's and still love walking with the Lord. I hope these young ladies keep an open heart to the gospel and experience His goodness and grace. 🙏

There's a difference between our corporeal body and our immortal soul (The electrical energy that makes up our conciousness). When our corporeal shell dies (heart stops) the electrical energy in our brain doesn't die - energy doesn't cease to exist, energy changes states. So imagine your conciousness, that perceives existance through the 5 sense, suddenly perceives creation and God in our immortal state..... We are immortal beings. Corporeal life is transitory, our conciousness persists after our body dies. Our creator gives free will, and desires that we seek him out willingly. If you know Him, your life changes, and where your immortal soul spends eternity with Him and all the millions who followed Him before us.
Jesus didn't just die for our sins. He SUFFERED and died. It's the worst part of the price He paid to ransom us and should be a huge factor in our conviction leading to repentance.
Do you think he suffered more than a kid dying of cancer over a period of years? Have some perspective. Jesus does in hours and was in paradise for dinner.

@@baconboyxy What's difficult to understand? Satan is the author of confusion and responsible for the first temptation of mankind. Likely due to a jealousy for God's new creation, mankind. By man yielding to temptation, he breaks the command of his perfect Creator, the Lord Almighty. This results in mankind's death. But the Lord redeems mankind through the person of Jesus Christ in his death on the cross, even though He didn't deserve death because he hadn't sinned. Then his resurrection proves he's the son of God and served as a first fruit. That means all who trust in his atonement will die, but eventually be resurrected as well, to eternal life with him in heaven. Satan clearly doesn't want to see this redemptive plan pan out. So he distracts and confuses. If this sounds foolish, remember God himself chose the foolish things to be wise for his glory. But humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and he will too lift you up.

Going to college (secular) is where I really began to grow in my faith. I read tons of books about creation/scientific evidence in the Bible etc. I had always believed God & Jesus were real, I just didn’t know why. College was amazing. I still have these godly friends to this day.

I'm glad for the opportunity of being me and I'm working towards being the best I can be. If that's not good enough then I'm happy to have just enjoyed what I've been given. If God wants to punish me for sins that were from a level of myself that could not fully understand why I shouldn't, then that's a little more difficult to respect. I trust that god gave a love and decency that we are able to feel in ourselves so the idea of living an endless hellish death is not something I can believe he would do

They say people find the gospel offensive - but these guys didn’t. But they would have found it offensive if you had preached at them in an impersonal manner as we witness some street preachers do in a somewhat judgemental manner which honestly i think puts people off christianity. Im open to be wrong though
I mean the attitude of the preacher is relevant, but I think a lot of people just don’t want to hear it since a lot of it tends to be the same bits about yay God yay Jesus, insert some Bible quotes.
I understand where you're coming from, whenever we preach about God it needs to come from true love. Some preachers have been affected by religion not God's love (religion is like the Pharisees who were the very ones who killed Jesus, they were all about rules and missed the entire point of why the rules were put in place - love). I'm sorry if you've seen people saying things in the Name of God who were acting self righteously and judgmental. That's not what Jesus is like at all. God bless you!!
A friend and I both do evangelism. I love doing the walking and personal talking types of evangelism. He loves going and standing on the street preaching about what God hates in the world. I feel like street preaching is important cuz it makes sure everyone hears the Gospel, but many like my friend just use it to get noticed and feel attacked. It hurts to see how he lacks what Jesus says we all need, love.

If its true repentance God will forgive them and save them. . Just because some one says im sorry doesnt mean they mean it. How many people have lied to the judge in court that they would straighten their act up only to find they do even worse? People need to get in Church to hear the Gospel preached under a anointed preacher and the Holy Spirit can convict them of their sin and help them to see their need for Christ. Except the Father draws you then you cannot be saved. You cant get saved any time you want.
