The mod also changed/removed his PDA, as originally it says he traded his precious crowbar for a can of meat (typical zone economics). Maybe the guilty trader who told him tunnel was safe sent someone to put it with his body which is why it's in S2.

Thing is, there's a dead stalker named freeman in that exact spot too and has in his inventory one of the most powerful handguns in the game, some kind of unique version of a desert eagle that uses .45 rounds. the tunnel is filled with anomalies and radiation but is easy to navigate by just jumping between the containters and another high stuff there

Pripyat cafe is not an Easter egg - this is simply an anomaly. Also, why stalker graves are also Easter egg? Same graves were in the original games, and you can find a lot more in different parts of the zone in the Stalker 2 as well

You are right, and since STALKER 2 takes place 9 years later the body is now a skeleton.
