I’ve had my Vectrex since 1982. Loved entering Bach inventions on the Melody Master since I couldn’t play them on the piano. Never had the 3D glasses, though…. :-(
In addition, love your new style of videos with your stellar Omega Ronin compositions. Now I have more music to explore and most likely purchase very soon.
I just bought a vectrex with 10 games from a guy at my job for $100. He rescued it from a hoarder house he cleaned and just wanted to get rid of it. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world 😊
I mainly game on Steam and Switch these days but if there was one retro console I could get my hands on it would be the Vectrex for sure. Not only do I love vector based graphics and think they still look as good as anything today but it has it's own monitor (no weird hooking up to a modern TV garbage) and a unique library. If only they were more affordable.
80's TV console players hate to admit it but they know the Vectrex offered real pure playability happyness. The best console ever before the NES is the Vectrex. Vectrex was so perfect, comfortable and smooth it was like a Nintendo console, before Nintendo was. Thank you GCE, Milton Bradley, and Bandai. You just forgot to show the most awesome game, Web Wars. Web Warp in Europe.
The only time I came in contact with a Vectrex, the owner thought I was unfit to play it and hid the joystick so that I couldn't. Part of the reason why I dislike most human beings to this day.
This is Cool stuff. I do like Detailed Graphics (Esp being a Artist and all )but I also can appreciate The Art of Minimalism and Early video Game programming
I think it's crazy how much the vectrex has gone up in value. Just the controller is listing for $250 and I've seen bundles go All the way up to $2k. With broken units going for 200-400. Some guy listed the box. Just the box for over 200. Like wtf
If you think I’m gonna spend all day watching Mark talk about Saturn and Vectrex games than your absolutely correct
Not that long ago, the channel dipped below 430k subscribers. Glad to see it's on the rebound and growing again :)
One of my earliest memories of CGR HD is the Vectrex review.
I will never not love watching Mark discuss all things Vectrex.
Let's be truthful, CGR sparked our love for Vectrex!
“Big facts” as the kiddos say
He honestly inspired me to make Vectrex games.
Glad CGR is back! Used to love your channel.
Love it again!
I just added a Vectrex to my collection a few weeks ago. It is just a delight!!!
Once you own a Vectrex nothing else compares or comes closer to arcade memory goodness

The whole reason I ever got a Vectrex was CGR!

To be fair the stick is fragile and costs more than the system itself. Should have brought a modded Genesis pad at the very least though...
I bought a Vectrex after discovering it on CGR
I've heard that the Vectrex will play Starfield perfectly.
Glad you're back.
In reality VECTREX is the next star map charter device!!!!!!! 2085 here we come baby...

But can the Vextrex do Truxton?
That's too much awesome in one place! Even the 32X couldn't handle that volume of awesome!
Long live the Vectrex!
If you put overlays on this video, you can enjoy Vectrex reviews in all new colors.
