Some people don't want to grow, because they don't want to accept their personal responsibilty for their behaviour. That is why the human created society is messed up. Not the world, nature still cures itself, when humans don't intervene.
In elementary school, I watched a film that spoke of a shift between four worlds. I don't recall what the historical film was about, but that always stuck in my mind. I always wanted to know more about it, but I was disappointed in my school for not focusing on one thing for more than a day. No wonder students were always inattentive (aside from the ridiculous demands of uncaring teachers and the cirriculum). Anyway, now I finally know that this is a native teaching, so I have a basis for how to search for more knowledge on it. Thank you, guys!
Some quotes to help growing: 1. Respect your efforts, respect yourself! Self respect will lead to self discipline and when you have both, that is real power! 2. After a while the scars on my soul create a new layer of protection! 3. You have to stop worrying, wondering and doubting. Have faith that things will work out, maybe not how you planned, but how it is meant to be! 4. The person, who does NOT need validation from others is the most powerful! 5. Only when you are aware of your own uniqueness, you will begin to have a sense of your own self worth! 6. You will never reach your destination, if you stop to throw stones at every dog that barks! 7. Don't be average. Always bring your very best to every moment. Wheater it fails or succeds, at least you know without a doubt, that you gave All you had. That in itself is success! 8. Embracing your true self radiates a natural beauty, that can not be diluted or ignored!
Really dislike #6. Shouldn't be throwing rocks at any living being. #7 Reminds me of something a previous boss used to say : " Nothing beats a failure but a try. " I prefer the terminology "unsuccessful attempt." Some may call it semantics but I believe it is more of a shift in perspective : as in "failure," has more negative connotations , unsuccessful attempt still has the word word success (positive ) in the phrase.
