This is a show I always find myself coming back to. I’ve known about since it came out back in 2016 (plus watched the first ep first thing in the morning) and yet here I am still interested in it almost three years later. It’s probably because of how underrated it is especially since it’s not only from the man behind steins;gate but also the kick off to the science visual novel series(?) (not to confuse it with the science adventure series) regardless if this show made me pick up both (currently printed) volumes and has me anticipating the next one, it’s definitely doing something right. Also- I really want the vn to get an international release even though games like that seem to only come out on a blue moon (pun intended)
This will be linked to the Science Adventure. The whole concept of keeping it partially apart of Steins;Gate & all will not hold for long. Occultic;Nine New World will link the story to Science Adventure. **light spoiler** ** ** ** ** My bet is that Okabe is really the one Shun is talking to on his phone. The original idea of Chiyomaru was to make a different world layer (like in Anonymous;Code) for Occultic;Nine compared to the others (Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes and Chaos;Head). But there was little benefit to this, so my guess is that Chiyomaru will keep the world layer stuff only for Anonymous;Code because it is integrated in its story (and not into Occultic;Nine, apart for the character of Ririka, who seems to belong to another World Layer). I would not be surprised to see the return of @channel and Niconoya in Occultic;Nine New World.
I didn't notice they were speaking fast until someone pointed it out about episode 9, that's why I liked this show, because I have a short attention span.
There are no such thing as occult. It can be disproved all by science. Only the ones who have accepted everything. Can get the right to know the thruth.
After watching Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0, I got into the visual novels as well as Chaos;Head and Robotics;Notes, and this one was also really good too. I got chills hearing Kanako Itou's voice in practically every opening for the Science Adventure series anime, as her voice in the Steins;Gate soundtrack and opening left me speechless, since it fits so well with these unique and amazing stories.
The fact that they never once explain the stuffed animal/mascot-looking character that's in the OP is somehow the thing about this series that has haunted me the most over the years.

The story's pacing is tedious to bear with, which most people has a problem with. If you can bear through the pacing the story is actually worth it. Dropping the anime early is a huge mistake due to the specific pacing this anime gives. Trust me, it's worth your time to finish it all
One of the best animation, mistery and suspence, need to watch every episode for complete the mistery puzzle, awesome work!
