Just a polite observation... extremely loud intro audio and then quiet audio is tough to deal with. Please sound normalize before final cut. :) I'll be watching these.
Impressive. I'm an old guy, really old by comparison, but I have always admired strong, intelligent women. Challenging yourself is so hard to do when failure is punishment and to push past that is one hellacious accomplishment. Bravo!!!
There was a gunsmith featured in American Rifleman in the 1990s shooting 1 mile custom wildcat rifles. He wasn’t getting near the accuracy that these 1 mile rifles are getting now. The tech is really coming along.
I noticed something, Katy is left eye dominant and shooting with right eye, I found out my daughter had the same issue when i was teaching her to shoot pistols.
@@lutherprice2062 I’m right handed, left eye dominant. All my bolt actions are lefty. I shoot pistol right handed of course. Right hand/ Left eye dominance is more common in women than men from what I’m told. Lucky me. 😂
@@precision4life756 I have my own plans to train with MaxOrdinate this Oct/Nov. The show is giving me a good insight of how they operate. Very impressive so far. This is a great source of information for me.
I Love seeing women compete in shooting events. The one thing that I don't get to see is women loading their own ammunition for their competition.....Why? Is there some type of boundary, ? If they are gonna compete like the men do....why not let them be involved in the ART of Reloading...? I am the type of person that wants to see the competition fair and square. I have been hand loading for many years and I also shoot extended long range. I am an avid handloader that has acquired many years of knowledge. I'd love to take on the challenge of teaching how to load for success...I handload for many calibers.....! 223 wylde, 22 nosler, 224 Valkyrie, 22-250, 243, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, .270, .308, .204 Ruger, 300WM, ....I have yet to find a gun that I cannot make shoot. If you're looking to take the leap into handloading....I Can Help....!
Glad you liked. The boundary is time. We had 3 days...the didn't even know how to shoot before the event, let alone load. We went with all like-rifles and same factory ammo to even the field. Loading would in no way even the field. Same rifle builds. Same ammo. How is that not fair and square?
@@precision4life756 I wasn't implying that your competition wasn't fair. I was simply stating that I have yet to see women in hand loading. I think that given an opportunity that might ignite the desire for women who want to compete to get all they can out of their experience and gun. I watched the whole series and enjoyed the competition . Great series. I wasn't trying to bust on you or the show.
very nice! Maybe I can get my wife to start shooting with me now...
We need more women in prs type shooting disciplines! Well done on the training given.

Right on!
Now to get my wife to see this and take shooting more seriously. 😆
If only can. I’ll show this to her too and hope for the best!
Good luck!
Just stumbled across this. Super stoked and excellent production value.
Loved this video! Most times when women are shooting they just want to show their rear ends. My wife loved to shoot and would have loved to do this!
This is serious shooting...no time for rear ends.
Great job, Ladies!! 👍💪💪💪❤🙂
i think it will come down to Jessie & Katy. most experienced and least experienced. but i think Jessie will come out on top
Hhhhmmm....
Katy!
This is gonna be awesome.

Also a narrator like Mike Rowe would be cool
I'm sure he's affordable. lol!
Love to see the ladies involved in long range shooting.
This will be a great series. Definitely looking forward to seeing who can get that 10” plate. Definitely a challenging target at 1,000 yards
Coming up soon.
Looks like some great instruction from the team and you have good students that are eager to learn 👍. Love hearing those impacts! Great first episode.

Is everybody shooting the same rifle and equipment?
Yep- all competitors are using the same gear 👍🏻
What gear are they using?
Y’all’s audio is poor.
Yeah, it was tough with all the wind and only one mic. Did all we could to combat it but should be better next go around.
What school are they using for training?
MaxOrdinate Academy
@@mtbdeuce thank you 🙏
What caliber??
6.5 Creedmoor.
Joni Marie is a fantastic huntress, really looking forward to this show
