is the stock filter metal or paper? im due for my first oil change

What oil do you use i was looking at 10w-40
I use 10W40 on pretty much everything. It's range is perfect for pretty much everything and everywhere
And on the gearbox side there is another coarse filter, does it need to be removed and cleaned?
I only knew of the 2 filters lol let me check the manual and get back to you. Any filter needs cleaned and/or replaced time to time
