You prolly dont care but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
1. Focus on more than just beats 2. It is an expensive game (Ads) 3. Ad budgets need to have longevity 4. Other beat sellers are distraction to you 5. Social Media’s a BIG ass distraction 6. Have confidence in your product 7. There’s a financial ceiling (u need a team) (diversify ur products) 8. Ur not the exception to the rule 9. Selling beats ONLINE is not for everyone 10. Have a great day
Damn, I write fiction and strive to make a living as an author, and the advice in this video makes so much sense in the realm of selling stories as well, which speaks volumes to the value of the information and the advice you give in it. I’m gonna watch this video once a week for inspiration!
Never forget that your immediate customer base are the emcees and singers from your block, neighborhood, town, city, state, region..ect ect..The online community is great for gaining that reach but there is still nothing like showing up in person to support your local, state, and regional artist. Invest in them with your talent and the pay off will be greater than the $100 you wanted to sell them your beat for...
Hey curtiss, love you man im so gratefull! Im about to start my beatstore now, i have schedulle, have plans, product ready to go and i wont give up untill 100 beats released! Thanks to you!
Thank you Curtiss King, I've been watching your videos for at least 3-4 years and was always one of the guys who just made beats and didn't do anything else. The guidance I've received from your channel has helped me get my own channel and beat site going, create graphics for my beats, create a logo, as well as given me a better understanding of the music industry and working with rappers. I'm still not where I want to be, but I'm a hell of a lot further than I would be w/o your videos!
Great vid. One thing I always say is what works for you wont always work for someone else. Thats why I sit and work on thinking outside the box like what can I do that other producers arent doing.
curtiss you are my role model, i learnt how to make beats by watching your videos, i am so so glad, today i make beats and i thank God for using you to help me achieve this wonderful skill.
Head3D shit I thought I was weird for just listening to his beats randomly lol Lemonhead goes in the headphones! A beat that I wished was longer was KillMonger-that track would be a great intro!
Bashaw Beats it took a while for me but I guess that cake with understanding that your beats don’t need a bunch of shit in it (well by your I mean me) so I grew to appreciate it!
Been loving the uploads again man, your content is always good to watch whenever I lose track of my bigger picture. It gets me back in an entrepeneurial state of mind.
My technique is to burn beats with stems and present them as gifts to my favorite artists at live local performances. People value their music in such uniquely mysterious ways. There's no one-size fits all and people be thinking inside of the box- more-so the 2d rectangular screen.
Much respect Sir. I just wish that I had stumbled upon this video 5 years ago. Still, through all of my pitfalls and gains I'm just realizing that I chose the path less traveled. I sincerely appreciate you for helping me come to this realization. You have just earned another well deserved sub. 💯
Brooo thank you so much !!! you have my big respect ! , for each of your spoken words from first to last , but I really think that . again thank you very much , and I wish you all the best in life and your continued work as a producer .
So You Know Syknic here, man thank you! Dude I have listened to your beats before I knew you had videos! And you've definitely inspired me to make and create. Just want to reach out and tell you how thankful I am that you are making these videos. Hope to meet you and collab eventually. But till then I'm aspiring to be great. And building er'y day!
really great point bro in a concise to the point fashion. no idea who the 9 ppl who thumbed this down. perhaps they were looking for beats by dr dre headphones and thought u were reviewing headphones cos every successful producer i know personally is embodying to the T, the things u r saying in the 9 steps
Social Media isn't a distraction to me. It IS my business. Majority of my exposure to rappers is on there. IG & Twitter are the easiest tools producers can use to connect with artists and ultimately collaborate.
5:50 this question made me ask what would be the curtiss King's answer if a potential customer asks him in face to face why should he buy from curtiss king instead of the million other producers that are out there.
@@OUTSS1 yeah true... that's the only part.. you got to go broke to do it.. I just wonder how fast the money will turn around if you put 1,000 bucks on ads ?
@@LozaAlexander nah man don't go broke just save up money for that particular investment , because still u need to see what works and what doesn't aka a b testing. It isn't guaranteed the money will come u just gotta invest what u can afford
Hey Curtis, big fan! Should we tag music we upload to Distrokid? Wondering because I don't want people to be able to easily swipe beats online. Thanks in advance!
I’m looking into doing the click funnels marketing I watched your video with Legion beats the other day and looked more into it I just want to know how many Beats should I have in my catalog prior to doing this knowing that I’m going to be giving out free material to gain some trustworthy loyal customers, I feel Comfortable conversating and interacting with people And feel like my material is ready and high-quality I’ve been working on my craft for a while and want to open up a beat stars account and start UA-cam just to help with promotion. Also should I keep my tags on the beats that I give out for free to the people that are opting in? If not should it be LOUD or with head room? I know this is a lot but I’m really serious about my producing career and want to make something out of it thank you for the information on video you’re always inspiring I’ve been watching you for a while 💯💯
I think it’s interesting but makes so much sense that social media is one of the biggest distractions you can have. With that being said though. I don’t have a huge amount of money to throw into ads and things. So, I try to find the cheapest avenue that I can take at the moment. I have a family and, may only get 1-2 hours a day to actually focus on my music!! For instance I just got an airbit account as of a week ago. How can this be beneficial without paying a decent amount of money without breaking the bank?! Any thoughts?
Still receiving the same inspiration I did from your channel 2-3 years ago! Amazing video Curtiss , for real
LifeStyleDidIt hey bro, it’s not inspiration, it’s “Curtspiration” 😂😂😂😂

What about click funnels bro what do you think about legion beats pushing that movement ?
I think it's a great tool BUT u need money saved up for them ads and a clickfunnels membership

How are you advertising if you're not using social media? Or what do you find the best to advertise?
