I totally get why you'd want to move closer! An hour is still a substantial drive, especially when you had already been living so far from home for a few years. So excited for you!
My son didn’t sleep through the night until he was almost 2- it was ROUGH! I had a friend recommend to slightly wake the baby up when they have been sleeping after about an hour and a half. I would go into his room and slightly wake him. No lights on, and no talking. I did this religiously for about 2 weeks, and then he finally starting sleeping through the night.
So happy for you. My husband and I are moving back home too and are so excited, it hits different being away from home once you start having kids!! ❤️❤️

Aweee so glad your here so I felt the same way about bed sharing so I have a recliner in my bedroom when my little one gets scared I put her in there but I did t start doing that till she was 3 before I put this really cute owl bed next to my bed I know she is to little to do that but maybe that might help as she transition s my girl is seven and because I did that she only comes in during thunderstorms and stuff ❤️
I feel like we are similar in so many ways!! My family also lives 40-45 minutes away as well and my hubby is in school 6 days a week, some days he has work and school so he is gone 16-18 hours out of the day. I'm due in 3 weeks with our baby boy and I've already started addressing my concerns to him because I'm going to be alone all day with a newborn and by the time he gets home he is going to need to go to bed so he can work the next day. I'm definitely nervous to see how it goes!! Thank you for sharing your experience with it! So excited for you and your fam!!
