Awesome picking. Would like to see some details on your side pin pick. I need to make something so that I can work on my Garant Plus. I may just have to gut mine and start trying to craft a tool that grabs those pins. I like the tool Samurai made too, but I don’t have the skill to braze the steel tubing like he did.
I had made a cup pick similar to Samu's, but the cup broke off and I just resorted to using this slider pick I had made...I didn't follow any plans, just knew the end would have to be bent slightly and a semi-circle cut in the end...I kept shaping it until it grabbed nicely around the pin and cleared the neighbor in front of it.
That was enjoyable, I picked each pin with you. The tools you use are great for The job, a sign of good understanding of the lock,and craftsmanship, Thanks again for a great vid, billbo.

I wouldn't expect a dp4400 to be "easy", it's on our list as a black belt lock, one of the hardest in existence :)
