I'd give it a 8/10 Seriously though FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
4:09 3D printed Parts can look good however you need a good printer and to print it on high settings to make it look good and if you dont want any kind of layer lines, which is what most people dont like about 3d printed parts, you can resin print parts that look perfect as their made with layer lines so small that their almost impossible to see, again this is all with high end 3d printers but dont diss em till youve seen the magic they can do, Bambu Labs make some great stuff.
Honestly, I'm glad I went for the Light of Freedom instead of the Light of Peace. Sure, the latter is more accurate and more posable, but materials can really drag a figure down.
Magic Square actually still has the metallic, Shattered Glass, dead, and Nemesis versions of the 1.0 in stock on their website (though the classic, Magnus, and clear versions are still unavailable).
I never regret buying this. got a few qc issues such as broken smoke stack and loss feet. but after fixing it, oh man what a pleasure to play it. I don't mind the plastic without a lot of painting as for now the plastic is durable af.
@@PerspectiveEnd how so? It matches everywhere else and way more head and ab articulation and the paint and plastic quality is another level in comparison
I know I commented on this several times, but I wanted to check back in with my report on the MS-02EX (2023 revision), as I just received it yesterday. First off and most glaringly, the box arrived looking like a fat man had stepped on it. I contacted MS and they're going to try working something out with their warehouse to send me another one, (they haven't asked for the one I have back yet, but I'm fully prepared to do so if they ask. Second, Many of his issues do really seem fixed. His feet don't feel super loose, his hipskirts aren't as much of a pain as the first run seemed to have, and the paint+die cast added to his feet seems to have worked. The Paint really improves the overall look of the figure, especially in the face. The matrix Chamber is painted better and the matrix itself is show accurate colors. The big con is some of the tolerances and transformation feels really tight now. the swivels on his upper biceps are incredibly tight, while some bits of the leg's transformation remain so tight the plastic developed a stress mark before even transforming. (the armature that allows the back tires to flip around). They also seemed to really fight snapping into place in truck mode correctly, as bits of the truck bed were interfering with the back left wheel rolling correctly. (I followed video tutorials to make sure it wasn't user error) Also in one odd case, the hip joint side split feels really rather loose now, to the point where if a leg does a side split, the weight of the leg will pull it back down. There also appear to be quite a few bits of "Gate remnant (remaining excess plastic from where the plastic was fed into the mold) All in all, the most glaring issues were fixed, although some bits of transformation are a bit finnicky, although I'm not sure how much of it is due to a very fat man sitting on my figure in transit. The additional paint really elevates the sculpt of the figure, the figure can balance far better, and the additional accessory of the jetpack was an unnecessary, but really cool inclusion.
There’s a new version with more accessories, die cast, paint on the whole figure, supposedly better plastic and better joints that I’m getting and I think you should too It’s the MS-02EX light of peace
So between TE 01, this, Light of Freedom, and whatever MP KO Prime exists, what would be your recommendation? I am looking for an Optimus with decent amounts of playability and a solid transformation Oh btw, mega congrats on 10K subs!!! Can’t wait for your subscriber special
Thank you so much. And as for the Recommendation, Go with the Original Light of Freedom, that's an excellent figure. It poses better than the TE and MP3, Transforms better than them both too, depending on your taste in aesthetics it may be a little better or worse looking than those two in it's robot and vehicle modes, but that's subjective. If you can't get that, then this version is still better than those other two.
If you were to make Optimus a tripple changer, with his truck alt mode and a plane mode that gives him a jet pack in robot mode, what plane would you do, and Whcih parts of the truck become which parts of the jet
I do feel that's fair, though I'd still caution people to wait for a Second release where they may change the materials or paint job, like how MS liked to do for the original figure.
And here's the deal: this is the same plastic that they use with almost every Legends figure they make. Except the datsuns (for some reason) and their Menasor (who used higher quality plastic)
Got the legends version of this guy as a late Christmas present literally yesterday as of the time of writing this, and I honestly really like the nylon. I think it feels pretty good, it’s durable, and it looks great imo. Edit: its also weird the engineering differences between the small one and the big boi, like the shoulders and elbows on the smaller one being more limited and the butt plate not flipping backwards on the tiny guy.
It feels good at a Smaller Scale. When it gets this big it feels really bad, because the flexibility that's a positive at a smaller scale is multiplied by the scale, so the figure feels insubstantial and bendy. Yeah, I don't know why the elbows are different like that. They really should have been the same joint.
@@PerspectiveEnd I don’t mind the elbows that much, they bend a good amount. It’s the shoulders Im hung up on. They seem to have the cutout for the hot rod shoulders, but then they’re pinned through it. Just seems like they did it just to fuck with the posability.
speaking of the Axe. Honestly I prefer the battle blades on the more combat oriented Primes. Like the movie versions, the Pripe version etc... Animated Prime's axe was pretty cool tho, really helped woth the entire firefighter aestetic.
I'm not sure if you know about this, but there's a nemesis repaint of this figure (and its legends scale counterpart) called ms-02b dark lord. It fixes most of the original figures' issues such as having tighter joints (most notably the ankles), looking much more premium, and I think it even uses better plastic (although a part of me isn't quite sure because I can't buy it.) Edit: A UA-camr who's called Optimus Legends made a video talking about the figure, he covers more detail in his video you should probably check him out.
I can’t even look at this ring with out hearing the * dutdutdutdutdutdutdutudt * of the G1 season 1 intro. Seeing as the face seems to be going for greater cartoon accuracy (as was MP-52) maybe the lacklustre plastic is to mimic the shoddy animation quality of the show. Maybe lol
I'm crossing my fingers that the second run will fix the QC issues, as it's sold out on the MS site right now. (I Hope they still have the deal where you get both MS 01 and 02 for 170 by then though...)
@@PerspectiveEndwill you be reviewing the metal version or nemesis version and 2 I don’t think I’ve heard anyone else had the problems with the plastic as far as I know so it could be just for your copy idk 🤷♂️
I think if anybody were to remake this figure all they’d have to do is maybe an extra head and fix the plastic tolerance in order to become probably the best 3rd party G1 prime but other than that this figure is surprisingly good being it came from the legends figure
@@PerspectiveEnd okay okay, there are these old toys where robots turned into diffrent rocks, and I was thinking hey what if you had them as actual transformers?
i honestly feel happy with my transform element op leader transformation is a bit finicky especially with his abdomen but both modes are solid and i don't mind him not being overly articulated if he can get him into the poses i want i'm happy and i'm gonna try to get this figure but the plastic quality worries me
I'm glad you like it but yeah, I hate that abdomin transformation, especially when it gets to rolling the legs up into it, that's just my definition of Pain. And yeah that poses fine, this is just if you want to get really deep into posing.
@@PerspectiveEnd personally i'm fine with the hips rolling up the pain part is trying to get the backpack and side panels of the waist tabbed in and then untapping them but its doable without a tool so i'd say its passable but its got an edge over this new one with its quality and overall quality is kinda the most important thing
2:21 "Point and laugh...oh! Hahaha!" Man I love having a fun Optimus again Good grief the axe looks like it's made of frozen mountain dew on camera why does it look so green!? Bad enough every time they give him an axe it's that short useless hand replacement one. Best Prime axe was either the WFC games or Animated. Or the Siege figure. Which makes it all the more weird Siege Megatron doesn't have a mace but rather a sword for, I think only because his G1 toy came with one right? Man iconic accessories are weird.
I wasn't even going for that. I just did it because it was a funny thing to do. I assume it looks green because it's surrounded by blue. It is cooler when it's a separate weapon he can hold.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yeah that was just the first thought I had seeing it. Likely. And agreed. Same goes for Megatron's mace. I've seen some awesome third party ones for the Siege/Earthrise Prime and Megatron figures, the mace in particular giving me WFC game vibes but I don't know the exact name of it
I dunno man I just can’t keep my hands off this thing. I think he’s my favorite Optimus and I have a lot. The execution of armada starscream will happen next video.
I can understand why you feel that way, especially if you didn't experience their original one. This is still a great figure, it's just got a crippling flaw the original didn't have.
I’ve heard exactly what you said about this toy. Another prime, not needed unless you didn’t get the first one. And magic square knew this, they only made 1000 for their first run. I personally feel this review would’ve been ten times better if it was universe hound. Not only is he still a contender for someone’s best chug hound, but he comes with the best chug ravage to date. Anyways, great review. And will you have newages as well as Planet X’s IDW grimlock for the 10k special?
They really should have used a more typical plastic for the upscale. I love the nylon for the small guys, their Onslaught feels incredibly durable. But yeah, upscaled it would just feel off
the plastic is bendable and durable....so it wont break easily and can withstand rough handling...except for the chromed smoke stacks which is a different plastic used..
The inside and matrix looks more like his Spark casing from Beast Wars. Actually, thinking of this as a figure of his Beast Wars 3D model makes its oddness… less bod
Isnt one of the 2 TOON legends scale devastator sets magic square as well and have also the same PROBLEM with horrible looking and weird feeling plastic?
@@PerspectiveEnd i honestly like more the look o the new age's constructicons, although in neither of them i like the partsforming heavy combiner modes
I found it kinda funny that the tolerances were bad because of the plastic, even tho i heard that plastic is made for calculating the tolerances because they don't want them to be bad.A:that's lazy from them if that's true B:how ironic
3:01 I really don't like how that skirt works and moves, it looks like the figure broke. The flimsy feeling plastic you mentioned earlier doesn't help with that.
Oh, you did review this. Definitely an excellent figure, which I do consider an upgrade to the 1.0 in both modes, but asthetic preference is fine. Loved it since the legends version was leaked, but I'm still holding out for a "premium" release, with paint that negates the translucent nature of the plastic (small hope if improved hands). I still disagree on your view of Optus Pexus, as it simply poses more naturally, with built up joints, but that's what happens when the alt mode they had to achieve was that basic, so apples and oranges. I find it funny that I'm still iching to see what Fans Toys and possibly X-Transbots come up with. Both are on the up and up, with Fans Toys' Magnus showing SOME promise given Optimus could and should be focused solely on being Optimus.
Not related to the video at all but, in your opinion, what is the best beast wars transmetal figure? I plan on getting one soon and, are depthcharge eland scavenger good choices?
What do you think of the painted version? Have you thought about giving it a look? Though it's still not perfect, I think a lot of the issues you talked about were solved with that figure.
I think the vheicle mode does alot better than what is said in the video with the bumper being silver with the clear orange alongside having the much more narrow bed or whatever it's called and no longer having the feet hang of the back. In general it doesn't seem that these masterpeice figures are based on the cartoon designs as much as they are the refined and more consistent 1986 movie designs.
I mean I don't know what the problem with the pin is, like is it sticking out, if it is and you want to get it to sit flush, cant you just press it in on the corner of a counter or something?
I really want to get this figure, but I have a couple of questions. How did you get it because showz has had it listed as a preorder but Ive seen so many reviews of it. Also how much does it cost because that has a large impact on how much I want it and showz doesnt list a price? Thanks!
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I'm planning on getting the light of freedom optimus (the better one), and I'm confused as to why on the magic square website it calculates [Price]+[shipping] and doesn't show taxes. Do they charge taxes, and are they for shipping and the main price combined?
Some websites don't charge taxes. I didn't know Magic Square does direct sales, I bought most of my stuff from the ShowZ, but if you can get it directly from them, without taxes I say go for it.
@@PerspectiveEnd Alright thanks, magic square has a sale for the nemesis/shatglas/shiny decos, they're going for 67$ rather than 99, so I figured I might pick one up.
Come on man, the axe is one of the coolest parts. Shame this doesn’t have a nice one, though. I agree with that. Transform elements Op leader seems to have done it much better where the hand flips inside the forearm and the axe is attached the the slot that way.
@@PerspectiveEnd More options are always good IMO. I doubt the little axe increases the price all that much. But I do get how you feel about obsession over a small part of G1
@@PerspectiveEnd megatron is a good guy dat optimus prime mouth the fact that megatron is a good guy and all the other decepticons arent uhh theres no sideswipe so minus points a 4.5/10 in my book(the series is good just some nitpicks) and the bosnian translations sounds AWFUL eslecially the optimus voice
I really hope this gets a knock-off with better plastic or MS does a metallic repaint or something, this could have been so much better than it is if they just used normal materials like literally every other company
It doesn't need a Knockoff, MS likes to Flog the hell out of their prime in different materials and paints, so hopefully they will do the same with this one.
I'd recommend the original, It's posing is great it's just that this is better, and the transformation is better, but if you got this I wouldn't say you made a bad choice or anything.
Thanks for this review. That’s frustrating about the plastic. I have the Metallic version of the MS Light of Freedom (the most recent version of the Light of Freedom) and didn’t really like the feel of the plastic used in that. I wonder if it’s the same plastic. There also seems to be a lot of complaints about broken smoke stacks. I kind of want to get this but also want to actually feel it for myself before buying it.
No I can tell you for 100% sure it's not the same. The Reason the Metalic version doesn't feel great is that the paint is kind of messing with the joints, so it feels brittle, and I think that's for the most part just an illusion. Obviously the paint wont be the most durable thing ever, so it still needs to be handled with care, but it's not the same stuff as here.
This is the amount of poseability the R.E.D line should have.
It doesn't even need to be half this high, but that would totally justify it at least for 20 bucks.

Also the unpainted weapons are not a big deal at all.
I mean would you rather have MP44 and all its overly inflated priced weapons or something that won't make you go broke
Plus the thing i love about it the most the back is clean and animation accurate too and is way better looking in his alt mode too then MP44
It's basically a very nice looking animated G1 optimus prime and way better then MP44 and though I've never seen the original magic square optimus i bet it's not as good but in terms of a animation accurate figure it definitely takes the cake.
I'd give it a 8/10
Seriously though FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
That plastic makes the head sculpt look like a FansToys release.
I can feel you on that.
I meant like Old PLA Printing.
It has plastic so thin, it could be called Starscream's costume. I hope the company makes a version with a Starscream head.
The legends scale version has his shoulder intakes and head
What? Starscream's Costume?
From “Megatron’s Master Plan, Part 1”.
Honestly, I'm glad I went for the Light of Freedom instead of the Light of Peace. Sure, the latter is more accurate and more posable, but materials can really drag a figure down.
Yeah, hopefully they will do a second run in a new deco at some point.
Magic Square actually still has the metallic, Shattered Glass, dead, and Nemesis versions of the 1.0 in stock on their website (though the classic, Magnus, and clear versions are still unavailable).
Isn't the all silver matrix a reference to beast wars?
I don't think it's an intentional one. I think it's just they got cheap with that part so it wound up being like the BW one.
You know a figure is good when he says *M A X I M U M* four times lol
Probably could have said it more too.
I never regret buying this. got a few qc issues such as broken smoke stack and loss feet. but after fixing it, oh man what a pleasure to play it. I don't mind the plastic without a lot of painting as for now the plastic is durable af.
Normally I prefer plastic without paint, but this just looks wrong.
@@PerspectiveEnd as long it's not break is fine by me. Plus he look awesome
MP44’s posability is still higher. Love my ab tilt 🤤
It has 1 SLIGHTLY more poseable joint. 1. This crushes it in all other areas.
@@PerspectiveEnd how so? It matches everywhere else and way more head and ab articulation and the paint and plastic quality is another level in comparison
Yep I agree weak plastic isn't my thing but still so good of a 3rd party figure of optimus
It is still a good figure.
(I followed video tutorials to make sure it wasn't user error)
Also in one odd case, the hip joint side split feels really rather loose now, to the point where if a leg does a side split, the weight of the leg will pull it back down.
There also appear to be quite a few bits of "Gate remnant (remaining excess plastic from where the plastic was fed into the mold)
All in all, the most glaring issues were fixed, although some bits of transformation are a bit finnicky, although I'm not sure how much of it is due to a very fat man sitting on my figure in transit. The additional paint really elevates the sculpt of the figure, the figure can balance far better, and the additional accessory of the jetpack was an unnecessary, but really cool inclusion.
There’s a new version with more accessories, die cast, paint on the whole figure, supposedly better plastic and better joints that I’m getting and I think you should too
It’s the MS-02EX light of peace
I've also seen that one apparently breaks, so I'm unsure if I should pick it up.
@@PerspectiveEnd hmmmmmmm how does it break? The smokestacks? That was common with the normal version because of the packaging ima look into it
So between TE 01, this, Light of Freedom, and whatever MP KO Prime exists, what would be your recommendation? I am looking for an Optimus with decent amounts of playability and a solid transformation
Oh btw, mega congrats on 10K subs!!!
Like Thanos, this was inevitable.
It was inevitable they used bad plastic?
@@PerspectiveEnd no, that you'd review this.
I swear they just slapped the prototype figure in the box and shipped it.
Yeah the plastic looks really bad.
If you were to make Optimus a tripple changer, with his truck alt mode and a plane mode that gives him a jet pack in robot mode, what plane would you do, and Whcih parts of the truck become which parts of the jet
Honestly still worth the money
Even though the plastic sucks everything else is awsome!
I do feel that's fair, though I'd still caution people to wait for a Second release where they may change the materials or paint job, like how MS liked to do for the original figure.
@@PerspectiveEnd thats probably the better thing to do
And here's the deal: this is the same plastic that they use with almost every Legends figure they make. Except the datsuns (for some reason) and their Menasor (who used higher quality plastic)
Yeah, which works at a Legends Scale acceptably, but at this scale it gets infinitely worse.
@@PerspectiveEnddid you get the ex version?
speaking of the Axe.
Honestly I prefer the battle blades on the more combat oriented Primes.
Like the movie versions, the Pripe version etc...
Animated Prime's axe was pretty cool tho, really helped woth the entire firefighter aestetic.
I think I appreciate the Axe more, just because it's an atypical weapon for a hero.
@@PerspectiveEnd can't be much worse than a mace like hawkman.
I'm not sure if you know about this, but there's a nemesis repaint of this figure (and its legends scale counterpart) called ms-02b dark lord. It fixes most of the original figures' issues such as having tighter joints (most notably the ankles), looking much more premium, and I think it even uses better plastic (although a part of me isn't quite sure because I can't buy it.)
Edit: A UA-camr who's called Optimus Legends made a video talking about the figure, he covers more detail in his video you should probably check him out.
I saw that it was happening, but I didn't know how it was going to turn out. Glad to hear there's a better version of this thing on it's way.
“Remember how the MMC light of freedom was the most posable figure?”
Perspective your confusing companies here
7:36 yk u should get the metallic version of this mould ive heard it has much better plastic
I want to, but a the same time that's kind of an Unneeded expenditure.
Maybe lol
I think it's just that they are using their Typical MS plastic that they use on their legends figures here.
Magic square has released an MS-02 EX Version which has diecast metal and better paint apps and more accessories for good ole prime
It does look a lot nicer.
I'm crossing my fingers that the second run will fix the QC issues, as it's sold out on the MS site right now. (I Hope they still have the deal where you get both MS 01 and 02 for 170 by then though...)
Yeah as of right now I'm happy to own both and if they do a second release in a different plastic that would get a hearty recommendation.
Well MS Flogged the hell out of the original mold in different paint jobs and plastics, so I expect they will do the same for this one at some point.
Hear me out, we have the rock formers as apocalypse bunker base former weaponizer
I have no idea what you are saying.
@@PerspectiveEnd okay okay, there are these old toys where robots turned into diffrent rocks, and I was thinking hey what if you had them as actual transformers?
Yeah I have this figure too. The material really brings it down when it shouldn’t. And can we agree the matrix should at least be die cast?
Yeah I do feel like the Matrix being diecast would help this thing.
i honestly feel happy with my transform element op leader transformation is a bit finicky especially with his abdomen but both modes are solid and i don't mind him not being overly articulated if he can get him into the poses i want i'm happy and i'm gonna try to get this figure but the plastic quality worries me
I'm glad you like it but yeah, I hate that abdomin transformation, especially when it gets to rolling the legs up into it, that's just my definition of Pain.
Thanks for the review man, much appreciated 👍
Happy to do it.
If this didn’t have bad plastic would this be better than the original
Probably yes.
Something tells me stop-motion animators will covet this.
Oh I'm sure they will.
2:21 "Point and laugh...oh! Hahaha!" Man I love having a fun Optimus again
Good grief the axe looks like it's made of frozen mountain dew on camera why does it look so green!?
Te01 still stands tall
I'd say no. The First MS was already better than that, and this is it's equal, but looking more like the TE, so it's better than that thing for sure.
Well hopefully they make a second run in nicer plastic.
@@PerspectiveEnd they’re known for this plastic. It feels cheap, yet is incredibly durable
They really should have used a more typical plastic for the upscale. I love the nylon for the small guys, their Onslaught feels incredibly durable. But yeah, upscaled it would just feel off
Yeah, materials look very bad, but at least he’s not committing a sin of faux grill part
This is true, and this is still a good figure, it's just ugly.
the plastic is bendable and durable....so it wont break easily and can withstand rough handling...except for the chromed smoke stacks which is a different plastic used..
I've heard that the Ratchets in this figure are also self destructing.
The inside and matrix looks more like his Spark casing from Beast Wars.
Actually, thinking of this as a figure of his Beast Wars 3D model makes its oddness… less bod
That would be it's own kind of oddness though.
@@PerspectiveEnd true
Well if you stretch it the matrix is accurate to beast wars as it was all silver in it
Yeah but it's not the correct shape of the thing.
Can you review newage Optimus Prime I want to get them in the future
I don't have one of those but I'm looking into getting it.
@@PerspectiveEnd ok
Isnt one of the 2 TOON legends scale devastator sets magic square as well and have also the same PROBLEM with horrible looking and weird feeling plastic?
I think the problem was the MS one didn't really hold together all that well. Personally from a distance I think their's looks a lot cooler my self.
@@PerspectiveEnd i honestly like more the look o the new age's constructicons, although in neither of them i like the partsforming heavy combiner modes
I like this because of the articulation. But I have to handle it like a gundam figure
The articulation is AWESOME! I just want better plastic.
I found it kinda funny that the tolerances were bad because of the plastic, even tho i heard that plastic is made for calculating the tolerances because they don't want them to be bad.A:that's lazy from them if that's true B:how ironic
Well they usually use this plastic on their Legends figures and it can help them there, but at this scale it's a bad idea.
This has made me question how many optimuses actually turn the bumper of the truck into his skirt? Is it just the g1 and Lego optimuses
Transform element uses the bumper on the back of the skirt.
Not a ton but there are a small handful. TE turns the Bumper into the Matrix Chamber.
@@PerspectiveEnd I think you’re thinking of MP10 and the original magic square one.
Will this figure be better then MS-01 if you the new MS-02ex
I don't know. It's possible sure.
I don't know why but it reminds me of those cheap homemade toys that's made out clay.
I can kind of see what you are on about.
3:01 I really don't like how that skirt works and moves, it looks like the figure broke. The flimsy feeling plastic you mentioned earlier doesn't help with that.
It's a little annoying but you don't really notice it when it use, just when trying to get back to the standard configuration.
the robot honestly looks like a RED figure
You aren't wrong about that.
I don't agree, the Optus Pexus's shoulders are WAY more limited.
@@PerspectiveEnd That much I can agree on; the shoulder design was poorly articulated in every sense of the word.
Not related to the video at all but, in your opinion, what is the best beast wars transmetal figure? I plan on getting one soon and, are depthcharge eland scavenger good choices?
Like of the Original toys?
I think my 3 Favorites of the Originals were, Transmetal Tarantulas, Waspinator, and Optimus Primal, Cheetor was good too.
What do you think of the painted version? Have you thought about giving it a look?
Though it's still not perfect, I think a lot of the issues you talked about were solved with that figure.
that matrix looks like the one from beast wars to me
I think the vheicle mode does alot better than what is said in the video with the bumper being silver with the clear orange alongside having the much more narrow bed or whatever it's called and no longer having the feet hang of the back. In general it doesn't seem that these masterpeice figures are based on the cartoon designs as much as they are the refined and more consistent 1986 movie designs.
I can see why you'd disagree about that. Im really just coming at this from the position of the original looking a lot better like this.
I need help you see my kingdom Tigatron has a pin that I need to push in but I don’t know how.
I mean I don't know what the problem with the pin is, like is it sticking out, if it is and you want to get it to sit flush, cant you just press it in on the corner of a counter or something?
What optimus primal favorite war tactic guerrilla warfar good vid.
Thank you very much.
And I'd say that no Primals favorite tactic's were more conventional battles.
@@PerspectiveEnd it was a joke
5:42
I mean it's accurate to Beast wars.
I really want to get this figure, but I have a couple of questions. How did you get it because showz has had it listed as a preorder but Ive seen so many reviews of it. Also how much does it cost because that has a large impact on how much I want it and showz doesnt list a price? Thanks!
That's cause the first run sold out, so it's on preorder for the second one.
I paid 124 for mine.
Could you review legacy inferno?
I would if I could find one.
Come on man, the axe is one of the coolest parts. Shame this doesn’t have a nice one, though. I agree with that. Transform elements Op leader seems to have done it much better where the hand flips inside the forearm and the axe is attached the the slot that way.
What is one of the coolest parts. I need a time stamp cause otherwise you like Stoic the vast just pointed at all of it.
@@PerspectiveEnd Haha my bad! I edited my reply- voice to text is not the best lol
I mean near every Optimus comes with that thing, so any allure it had for me long since faded.
@@PerspectiveEnd More options are always good IMO. I doubt the little axe increases the price all that much. But I do get how you feel about obsession over a small part of G1
Is the legends scale version still good
It's not as good. The posing is not quite this things equal, and the transformation with the smaller parts is more fiddley.
Thank you for the info

The wall was 1/4th normal thickness dry wall, that I scored up on the back with a knife to make it easier to break.
Thank you for answering this question!
I hope one day they might re release it with better plastic
They rereleased the original figure in like a dozen different styles so I expect they will do the same here.
Ms 02ex basically fixes all the cons of this figure like the plastic and adding paint so id say that the new version 8s worth it.
I'm sure. But like if I get that version what do I do with this one, cause no one will buy it off me.
@@PerspectiveEndyou could get the toy version
I really hope this gets a knock-off with better plastic or MS does a metallic repaint or something, this could have been so much better than it is if they just used normal materials like literally every other company
It doesn't need a Knockoff, MS likes to Flog the hell out of their prime in different materials and paints, so hopefully they will do the same with this one.
Remember?
:(
Of course. And yes it's unfortunate, though it is still a solid figure.
If you were to recommend someone which MS-Prime to get first (assuming it’s their first MP Prime) would you say this or the first one?
I'd recommend the original, It's posing is great it's just that this is better, and the transformation is better, but if you got this I wouldn't say you made a bad choice or anything.
Man magic square figures always look like they are 3d printed, it's one of the reasons I'm just avoiding magic square figures
Their Original Prime had a lot nicer plastic than this, it's just that they are using their Legends stuff for this guy.
That’s the 1.0…the 2.0 had a different matrix and a jet pack, maybe diecast metal? Not sure but that’s def the 1.0
No it's the 2.0, but there was a 2.0 of the 2.0.
This is the 1.0 in Magnus Colors.
ua-cam.com/video/yrg8hPjfjX4/v-deo.html
@@PerspectiveEnd Thanks for clarifying.
