If they make the template builds to start at like 70 or 75 ovr and slightly cheaper to upgrade it might encourage more people to use the template builds
They wouldn’t do that, but you would think they would. I remember in 2k17 $30 would get you to like an 75-80 overall. I made so many builds and probably spent more money on 2k17 than I have the past 2 years combined

I want to go back to archetypes. I liked the simplicity of making those builds, but that’s just me. To me 2k18-2k19 was the best system. Like you were saying with the templates and how 2k will most likely keep it. It could be like the archetype system, but I want legend templates. I don’t want a Scoot Henderson template. I want a Steph Curry template. I think it’s the best for both people who liked the archetype build system and those who want builds that can do more than 1 or 2 things.

I think the logo has something to do with the upcoming fifa game…
Basically, they’ll probably have a similar logo and football/soccer net with the big 2K logo and the FIFA logo on the side…

I’ve played every 2k since Dreamcast except 2k24. I will not be buying 2k25. It’s tons of better games to play you don’t have to have another basketball to replace 2k. I was a 2k junkie to I understand it’s hard to let go.
I feel like with rebirth your build AUTOMATICALLY start at 85, and you can upgrade from there.

Like mentioned before, I feel like they should bring back driving dunk cause the standing dunk meta overrated to me since it can cause you a turnover if you don’t time it correctly and you gotta be in proper position to get the animations. Same with the builder small guards or guards in general shouldn’t be as over powered to dunking compared to bigs when you add driving dunk you are severely limited on everything else pie chart wise. A 6’6 can have 94 driving dunk with insane ball handling and shooting/block compared to a big if they add a 94 DD they pretty much capped out on any other attributes
They drop the perorders before the first trailer. Doesnt make any sense
I will be surprise if they make something like topspin 2k upgrading system for my career which I will be hyped about

Everything even starting off, no overpowered “meta” builds, and just overall, just improved and smoother gameplay mechanics

Tbh I’m not really that hype about 2k anymore it used to be a game I’d get hype to play every year but I’m now in my 20s and 2k hasn’t been enjoyable since 2k19-2k22 days. If they want to revive their game we need the original devs from 2k16-2k20 era and we need a actual rookie to legend rep system and they need to take that squad rec out asap because that is what really made the game die out for me. Park gameplay was decent but it’s no versatility in the community everyone has the same name and has a slightly different play style. My team needs an auction house and my career needs an actual decent career to play this time. W video btw and I’ll be waiting for your gameplay of the game before I decide to buy it or even preorder it.
