Jujutsu Shenanigans became so popular because, among the reasons you presented in the video, it's just super silly, and playing with friends is enjoyable because of it's design, and mechanics. Several mechanics, such as Nue+R allowing you to enter domains, have been a result of fun, yet balanced bugs the community has found.
I just find so fun that nue+R used to be a bug that they patched and then just added it back in the next update even tho that’s kinda normal in games
You can even enter domains by pressing your back against the domain, using bow3 and using shiftlock in the direction of the domain to get in (you gotta press block once you're in the barrier to get in)
@@Kolakatten Because people found it funny, and it was cool to do. They almost made Megumi a domain invader, instead of giving him a domain, which I find super cool.

When I join TSB my ping goes from 95-200 to 300-800 (1000 when their is a wild psychic ult and 2000 if their is human cyborg ult)
I argue that it's not low quality it's good but it's not as flashy as some games which in my opinion is more enjoyable then 1k ping on the shittiest battlegrounds and yeah TSB is overrated follow JJS

I really like that they have bugs that are just fun and not game breaking, and the devs realize that and keep them in, like Nue+R entering domains
Or you domain clash when you enter sukuna's domain last sec and use yours
They removed getting into domains on Mahito :(

I love this game cuz destruction(feels strong), variety combo(feels like you really own that power) and my fav is there no cutscenes that lock your screen(feels free to use your own power instead watching cinema)
i like cutscenes cuz they make a move feel super strong, but the extra special moves like gojo's nuke and the world cutting slash make up for it

Jujutsu shenanigans is simple, but makes what is simple enjoyable by making it variable and balanced, so by using a character you don't have to worry about whether your moveset can counter the other's person moveset or if you have an advantage in a certain situation, as every moveset counters every other moveset in some way or another

I play the game because there are buildings that are tall as hell that you can do yuji’s crushing blow move on if you land it right, then you got the random pictures of the characters scattered around the map not to mention the map is pretty much larger than the strongest battle grounds it’s just that fun not only that they literally have a train station, so you can start treating your enemy like yuji when mahito ground slammed him below sea level
For real the game has a lot of original ideias and great adaptation of jjk. Hakari's domain is quite fun to use, the moves are satisfying and the destruction makes the map real and the game really fun. And it's not like it has *BAD* effects just they have a simpler style, that helping the game have frequent updates
Its good because there's a non teaming system which if 2 person attacks you at the same moment then an effect will appear pushing them back so now its harder for them to do more damage
I think the secrets are also a big part of it. Certain attacks interact in ways that would just be completely absent in other games wither put of negligence or just the devs not thinking about it and while. Prime examples: Hollow Purple Nuke, "special" versions of moves like Black flash reversal red and itadori's air kick, domain breaking, ect

Short answer : the combat, super attacks and ultimate attacks are fun as hell
it feels more silly cuz in other battlegrounds games u just third party but in jujutsu shenanigans imagine this: you are fighting someone and another person on an underground area breaks the ceiling and u and ur enemy fall in the hole, its just more "alive" (ALSO ITS NOT AN BATTLEGROUNDS)

i think in general, battlegrounds games and overall free for all fighting games have always been popular and changed over the years. back in 2019~ i used to play a game back then called soulshatters, decently popular, had really complicated combat, and fights typically lasted 5 minutes.
but with jujutsu shenanigans in todays times, you have 4 moves, low health, and easy to master. and fights normally last 1-2 minutes. it seems to fit todays times with quick gameplay which makes the game so popular.

It's because it's not actually low quality....it looks that way because of how it's developed, just cuz it's not as flashy as Hero's BG or as smooth as TSB doesnt mean it's low quality.

the combat is so cheeks dawg never have i seen dashes get past my block by controller players so consistently and even having 14k on tsbg and experience on most battlegrounds games the movement makes fighting people alot more annoying aswell as the game feeling very sluggish as dashes feel much shorter and less snappy overall and awakenings being essentially impossible to fight against if you dont have yours just feels basically like giving your opponent a win

jjs is one of the only accurate jjk games,most jjk games are not accurate at all
Low quality my ass lol this game is incredibly well made. The effects are amazing, the models are just purposely not highly realistic. Animations are very good too with smear frames to make them even better

I think kill animations and ragdoll after kills makes it fun too. Getting a kill with rough energy on hakari is super satisfying
I like the game because of how less toxic and sweaty it is than other games. The attacks are also a lot easier to use, and special abilites are a nice touch. Its a huge change for the usual toxic pvp games like TSB littered with teamers and weirdos.
JJS is the one game which combos look extensive and difficult but its incredibly easy to do.

I'm really glad this game doesn't have those extremely obnoxious cutscenes and visual effects that take 10 morbilion eons to end so I can actually fight again
The reason why I started playing games like SBG(and also played Soul Shatters before SBG) is because all of the characters aren't locked behind some annoying progression mechanic that is designed to keep you on the game for longer. the "clones" mostly understood how the game got popular but really didn't understand why the game was fun in the first place. there's a bunch of other reasons why SBG was so successful and fun, but *I* feel like another big reasons is the absurdity which was the main thing that drew me into the game, and Jujutsu Shenanigans just embodies this really well.

Its famous because of its shenanigans...
Idea for a battlegrounds game (because i cant make one): a battlegrounds game that has COMPLETLY original characters, not stuck to any anime. This fixes the proplem that players can predict the new characters (also it prevents copyright if you play your cards right) call it "imaginary battlegrounds" or somthing. The way you make characters is just to imagine it in your mind, this also eliminates the need to find a good charater to make.

jjs is very obviously a passion project and you can see that tze likes developing it. it is most similar to ultrakill, where hakita added everything he deemed cool and it worked. this is the key to jjs' popularity
Games being over the top graphic wise kind of annoys me because they're so flashy, it's cool a couple times, but it gets boring eventually. I'll never get bored of getting anyone in my Domain Expansion in this game, less flashy or not, it's so fun and it feels earned because it can easily be cancelled since it doesn't give armor, making me have to actually think about when to use it, do I use it close but risk it being cancelled by even a single M1? Or do I try to create some distance to pull it off with the risk of the enemy going far enough to avoid my domain? It's all really fun. And yes I know you can combo into the domains but it's Jujutsu Shenanigans, I'm not trying to use skill even If I have it, i'm trying to create my own spectacle by being goofy.
People saying jjs is low quality are wild. The map, moves, and general things are all stylized to fit with the destruction physics which is the main sell of the game. Jjs certainly requires many, many more lines of code than tsb or any other battlegrounds game just because of that. The moves look amazing. The combat is vastly more fun than tsb. The "low quality" is a charm and a good thing for the game. JJS doesn't have a huge team like tsb, either, and yet because of this they still push out updates with more content faster.
It is low quality, none of what you said above disproves it. But yeah its good cuz it helps with lag

i mean, the "low quality" style makes more people able to play + updates and moves/new models/animations be done faster, since there isnt some sort of hyperrealistc style.
