A Laurel Fest on Blood Mountain!

Well I was hoping to catch the flame azaleas in their peak on Blood Mountain but I was a skosh early, though I did see a number of early birds. The weekend was perfect, however, for mountain laurels! They were all over the upper slopes and thick as hair on a dog's back!
