the Mirrors are infuriating... haha. Definitely recommend doing this in 2 parts if you have the time. Do the main pieces, handles, repeaters in one go, and then set aside another 1.5 hours for the mirrors or so.
Thanks for the video. I wasn't sure if I made the right decision getting a matte black kit and if it will look any good. It's hard to find matte black chrome delete videos lol, everyone seems to do the satin black.
Just did one side of my car yesterday and it took about 3 1/2 hours...and didn't do my T emblems. Heading out now to do the other side of car and expect it to take about 3 hours on the other side. So, probably 6 1/2 hours for me. Had difficulty with the mirror...probably spent about an hour just on that.
So how has it held up over time? Looks really great, but does it still look great after a year of rain, snow (salt), wind, etc.? That's my biggest concern with doing the delete.
Just installed my front and rear logos. How is yours holding over time. Feels like the pointy part on the bottom of the T logo is not going to do well. Any tips to prevent it from peeling of?
Surprisingly mine are still looking good. That is even with all the snow and ice. Really make sure the surface is clean as possible before applying. It will help stick it down.
Mother Frunker it looks awesome and that’s what led me to look at chrome deleting everything. That’s why I’m watching your video. Thanks for putting this one on YT.🤙
beside, put of your ring first before doing this. With a ring on your fingers you could scratch the foil or the paint of the car! Never mind, thank you for sharing!
Mother² Frunker?
😂
How about "Lady Frunker".
Mama Mother Frunker
I bought this product and I was extremely happy with the result and looks. Highly recommended!
Awesome! What color is your car?
How has the chrome delete held up over time? 4 years later does it still look alright?
@wwgbert still pretty solid. Obviously wear and tear on it but it looks pretty good. I'll do an update cost hopefully soon
@@FranklinEh I look forward to seeing the update, thanks for your reply. Have a nice day.

in this video they do not show you the most difficult parts of the mirrors
Thank you I'm buying a Model 3 this Monday.

Get the Performance model with the upgrade package!!!

I personally love my matte black but everyone obviously has a different preference. Which one did you go with?
I went with the matte black but haven't installed it yet. Going to be a quarantine project to keep me busy lol.
Space it out. I installed mine over multiple days.
Get the glossy black and stand out 🦅
Awesome video buddy. Great job....and hello, Mrs. Frunker, welcome to the crazy world of UA-cam. 😁
Thanks
Watched the whole vid! Awesome. Looks great with the red
Thanks Chad. I agree.

Oh wow! Ultimately worth it if it comes out to your desired look.

BTW - saw that you replied to someone else after 6 months. Just curious if still holding up after 1 year
Going to create a video reviewing how it looks after a year plus. Give me a few weeks. It will better answer your question.
Looks great, but how do you think chrome delete matching car color would look? I'm thinking of matching the blue with blue vinyl
I've seen a bunch like that. Looks fantastic.
How is the durability? is it still holding up?
Great job! Looks awesome! How does the Tesla logo on the hood look?
Looks really nice. There was a still image of it towards the end of the video.
Hey, in the end of the video she said "these are not wrapped door handles". What did that mean? Is there something else you purchased?
She meant full wrap handles. I bought the full wrap handles after but never installed them.
Excellent video ty.
I would like to know where to buy the product you use. The link you posted is not available.

With 10 pieces for the mirrors, I am concerned about what all these seams will look like and how they will last over time. Any thoughts welcome.
Only one winter so far with mine but they are doing good.
Is the chrome delete more for a desired look or is it more for protection? Thanks.
Just for aesthetics rather than protection.
Was this the Satin or the Matte? Trying to decide which one to get (sorry if you said it in the vid and I missed it)
Matte
@@FranklinEh thank you!
Hello, Did you receive 2 of each item or only some ?
Not for my order.
I have a mighty fucking need now
Haha I don't blame you
Appreciate the review!
Thanks
Can I use hair blow dryer instead of heat gun?
Yes but be careful with the amount of heat
Looks good...great video!
Thanks!
2:58 will that prevent window breaker? Will that prevent car break in? 😁
Probably not 😢
Does it last? Is this better than Plasti dip?
No problems yet through first Canadian winter
Looks great!
Thanks.
Great Video!!
Thanks
Is this matte?
Yes
i was about to buy...the the link isn't a safe link...
Good job!!
Thanks
Good video but That’s why I bought carbon fiber repeater caps
Makes sense. Probably looks really nice too.

I asked a model 3 driver how much they paid for chrome delete....and they told me $6000. Ridiculous
Crazy. I had quotes around 3k
I'm tempted but I don't think I'd do good enough and it'd look like garbage
I'll help you do it. 👍
@@FranklinEh 😂 ok
I'm not joking lol. Come visit 😜
