Hey Atlas! Sorry I have trouble syncing up Discord names (where I know most players from) with Xbox Live names. Also I think I said in the beginning of the video it was unlucky vs yourdoctor. I'm going to choose to blame UAW's bad replay system for messing me up 😅 BTW I love that you used Light Mode and Zessus!
@@Waywardstrategist lol its alright with the names. Yeah i mained Zessus when i was playing and i just LOVED teleporting enemy heroes to my base and killing them and ye i prefer light mode over dark just cause of the damage and abilty to outrange enemys
Personally I find PvP in this game to be more interesting when both teams have an AI of a different faction. Not many good maps for this, but it helps prevent the weirdness common of Masari matches where they just outlast the other teams. I also tend to use DEFCON, because it helps allow more varied combat.
What seems to be the issue with getting your copy to work? If it's the fail to launch problem make sure you install the windowsliveinstaller.exe that's contained in the main game folder, that's generally the biggest and most prevalent issue with running it on modern machines FYI (the file path should be [Whatever drive it's installed on] > program files x86 > [Whatever containing folder it's in, e.g. Steam if it's a Steam copy] Universe At War > xliveredist > xliveredist.exe
I've tried this strategy but haven't got it to work super effectively yet bit it would be awesome when the enemy has no idea what's coming. I usually default to pop maximized on healing saucers and some infantry orlock and up gunned walkers, sience walker for op map vision of course. Also keep your glyph carvers useful in the long term. Once you've built everything you need bring your glyph carvers with your saucer/walker army keep em kinda sneaky in the back. Use them to replace walkers at midway points but most importantly use them to build gravity and spitter turrets on the outskirts and if lucky on the inside of enemy bases. This helps as both a distraction and if used outside the base can help keep the enemy contained if they try to run from defeat
Hey wayward!Me your doctor purified and another player jordino_pepino had a big 2v2 match your doctor has saved, and I think it would be really cool I you could cast it?
oy I think they could speed up the game, I know that universe at war is very movement based but this would look better for a spectator by shortening the time we spend on the roads
YO THIS IS ME FROM A WHILE AGO. When i uses to play the game xD

@@atlas8094 I like light mode too. I usually Light 2/Balance 4 or 3/0/3 or 4/0/2

Woohoo another universe at war! I have given up on trying to make the game work and have opt for watching your casts instead. Please keep this up!
I have another one in the pipeline but I'm trying to space them out a bit so I might have a couple Grey Goo and C&C Casts before the next video.

@@MisterZimbabwe thanks, i'll give it a try!
@@nerodelacroix9281well how did it go
Used to play this game as a kid on my 360. It's strange that it's so hard to access now
I love the sound effects in this game.
Ditto! 🤘🤘
Loving this series, and your narration keeps me excited and involved in what's going on! Any replays with Novus players?
There should be several with novus! I'll try to scrounge up some more though
Where would I find a community of UaW players like this?
The link to the discord is in the description I think. But here it is just in case I forgot to put it in the description! discord.gg/M4naSnmb

Your Doctor also mentioned it! I'll check it out this weekend :D
Thanks!btw it was only my second online game ever so I will be pretty bad
Where can i buy the game?
It isn't available on game stores anymore. I think most people who buy it nowadays do so via box copies on Amazon
I wish this game had taken of into intended series it was made for.
I also get the impression that the game itself is a bit unfinished.
