There's something inexplicably magical about this man and his band. He channels a cultural emotion straight through me every time. I can't explain it.

LOVE THIS MAN, HE CAN REALLY ROCK A ROOM, HARD TO BELIEVE THAT BRUCE HAS SUFFERED FROM DEPRESSION, MAYBE ALL THAT GLITTERS IN THE ROCK AND ROLL LAND, IS NOT GOLD., MAYBE THERES SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT LIFE WE DONT KNOW, LOOKING FOR PLEASURE ALL THE TIME, BRINGS SOME PAIN WITH IT.

According to Wikipedia the reason Springsteen did this electric and not unplugged was because these guys backing him up in his mind didn't sound good acoustic in the rehearsal so he went with electric. Something tells me at this point Springsteen was thinking "Okay this isn't going to be sustainable I need.

And honestly he was right. At least this back up band only lasted I think till the end of 1993, then he was touring just himself and an acoustic guitar but using the E Street Band to back him for his movie songs until the full reunion of
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Having said all this nobody should hold any malice twords anyone in this band it was an opportunity and a paycheck for them and anyone of us would've jumped at the chance to play with Springsteen so I will say in hindsight they were a good band but not a good backup band for Bruce Springsteen.

@@Lodosj They lack the emotional connection that Springsteen has with the E Street Band. Bruce and the E Street Band are more then a band they are a family for better or worse these guys just don't connect on that same level. They also have no intense history with the Boss that the E Street Band has. As I said being Springsteen's back up band to these guys is just a paycheck.
I agree 100 percent this was the wrong band to back up someone like Bruce Springsteen.

Great show, can’t help but think Clarence little Steven and the gang would just take it next level.
Gia Ciambotti went onto the backing vocals of the Forest Rangers who did the Sons of Anarchy Music and Zack on drums now does the Psychedelic Furs tour drums. I think billy still has Crystal T with him on tour, hed be foolish not to but who knows, he binned off Liberty DV so maybe hes foolish.

I do agree that these guys are not the right band for Springsteen. However no one should hold any malice twords anyone in this band. These people are trying to earn a living in music any musician that would get a call from someone like Bruce Springsteen to play with him would jump at the opportunity these guys got. But yes they are not the right band for Springsteen and even he I think knew it because by 1994 Springsteen disbanded these guys and even though the full reunion tour didn't happen until 1999 any performances he did that he needed a back up band it was The E Street Band.
@@davidbreen6335 The problem is also Bruce's fault. He tried to imitate the sound of the ES Band with the new group, and comparisons were unbearable.
No one up there just came off the street. Many have worked with other acts in their career. Some of these anti-the Other Band comments come straight out of nostalgia and nothing more.
I love Boss but his guitar sounds awful here :/
