Very sweet ride, I think the numbers on the seat tube are also 992, just very French fancy. Those were big in the late 80s and early 90s. That Campy group set is pure eye candy.
That would be a fancy way to say 992 and this one looks like a 90's bike based on the group set my friend had an 80's but his has campagnolo down tube shifters
Wasn't gonna comment and just roll through it and see what is said about this frame, but when I heard "733" man, I gotta comment..... yeah yeah others have corrected you I see, but buddy, that's the infamous 992. Released 1992 by Vitus, and Vitus supplied French Nasa with aluminum panels for their Spaceships. This is pure aluminum, high end aluminum. It is one of the greatest Frames of all time. Sean Kelly won Milan-San Remo with this frame in 1992. First integrated headset (without a headset shell/component -- now all frames have just ball bearings like this, and the frame designed the headset). This frame was a head of its time, with the headset and the multi-shaped tubes. Gluing tubes during assembly wasn't new but they started it with the 979 released in 1972 (then ALAN did it and later TVT France did it, and then even Trek [tried] to do it). I ride this frame as a daily (I live in Canada, so this means starting from sometime in April until sometime in October. It's a blue version as well. Different decal stickers, mine has the famous KAS with World Champ rainbow stripes on the downtime and sea tube (look into the old Spanish team KAS if you can find anything from your search engine). Mint condition I've been riding it since 2012. In NOS condition, this frame fetches 3 grand (and up) currently. Consider yourself lucky to have one. This is my passion I'm a library of vintage bike information, I know what I'm talking about, this is one of the best frames ever
The frames in my size are usually in bad shape and need some love. I mostly leave them alone and rock the patina look but would be nice to grab one this nice in my size
Guy That's not a 7777 something. You are looking at the numbers on the seat tube upside down. That's a 992 the best Vitus ever made. If you want to sell it let me know.
Not too familiar with the Vitus brand and honestly just starting to study more about campagnolo and how to tell the difference I usually don't deal with hi end mainly because I focus on budget friendly build ( everyone's budget is different) I'm often lucky to find these gems I was able to find it a great home and they ride it almost daily to work and back
Buddy come on... again, you've got brake callipers that you don't even know about..... those are Record callipers, and famous ones as well. Because the don't have the print "RECORD" or "CHORUS" on them in block black. Why??? That was the first year they released the 3-pivot clappers, release year: 1994. ONLY ONE YREAR Campy made those callipers with only the Campy sig on it, without "RECORD' or "CHORUS" on it. In 1995 and every year after, they printed the caliber with the model on it. I also have these on my bike, bought NOS, and still oak NOS thank you very much. The rest of your bike it is what is. I still use shifters on the downtube with a drivetrain I won't mention because there's not much of the parts left anymore and I hoard them so that I can ride only the best until I die.

Congrats on 500 subs bro!

I know the feeling. It was ten years of looking for a frame my size and then two came along at the same time 😄....
