Honestly if they took away Giant-Man and used the parts to have more building, it would have been a really good set. Without him, the environment is very plain, and it would also give more room for the Quinjet. Not to mention the inferior minifigures. I feel Giant-Man should have been a separate set. Maybe they just didn’t want to confuse that with a regular buildable figure set.
Yeah i dont think we need a jet nor an ant man, just a good setting to display both teams. I wouldnt replaced those builds w all the figs and a bigger platform
Or they could have added the missing 300 pieces and make it a fair price. Edit: What I mean by make it a fair price is that adding on an extra 300 pieces would bring it down to 10 cents a piece instead of almost 15 cents a piece.
9:46 The fact that Tony is the only MCU character who ever gets consistent movie accurate minifigures is incredibly sad. It’s been 8 years we should be past this by now.
Agreed I really don't get it, why would a lego figure increasing in size suddenly give it human proportions?! The design from the original set is so good I don't think anyone would have complained if they just used that same design again
But then again he's still a model of a HUMAN. Lego figures are mimicking HUMANS. They're just so much smaller that there isn't a lot Lego could do, and that's their style nowadays. Still doesn't mean that Giant-Man should also be a minifigure. Also, with this design you get way more posability, when in the original set he's just kinda standing around awkwardly, swinging his hands up and down.
The original giant man was so much better, it was a brick built model that actually looked like a giant minifigure. They did that for Ares too in the original Wonder Woman movie set, but now they just make them giant action figures.
The fact that people call this a diorama is sad because those black plates do nothing and just take up the piece count where they could be used to expand the build
Off topic but I just heard a rumor that we will not be getting any Superman Movie 2025 sets. The mech releasing in January appears to be the only Superman set we will be getting. We all need to go buy that Superman mech to show support non Batman sets now more than ever.
Ok I know the new one looks "better" but that old giant man was the first "macrofig" and was soooclever. Like at the time it came out everyone's mind was blown. It's got so much character with its minifig proportions. The new one looks kinda awkward and doesn't look right next to actual figures.
Wow, early to a vid for once. Anyways, I do like the updated Mark XLVI, but I feel to achieve pure movie accuracy, you need that original Giant Man, the cloth waist cape for Wanda, swap out her power pieces for red ones, replace Bucky with an accurate version of the minifig, remove the red around the star on Cap's torso, swap T'Challa for that og Civil War version, and the og Iron Man helmet on the new Mark XLVI.
Might be a minority here but I do like that they used a different build for Giant man in this set, and the fact that they gave a buildable figure somewhere to actually be But I do agree that they should've given him the mouth print instead, since he already has a mouth cover
Why do I feel like the play sets for marvel and starwars are getting worse. I mean the display expensive sets for both are amazing (The Milano, Daily Bugle, Razor crest, Venetor….) but the play sets used to be awesome as well… Also reusing the incorrect figures for Marvel sets. Like the weird Thor face the keep reusing. And don’t get me started on the new Iron Man helmet design…. Awful
I really dont unserstand why War Machine isnt in this set. hes such a vital part of the whole giant man sequence, and i dont understabd why lego keeps dping Brickbuild Falcon wingsm they look so bad. they have the CMF wing piece and just refuse to use it
It’s a cool diorama, but it feels so much smaller than the original set. Also, although I do prefer how this giant man design looks, the original one makes more sense since these are supposed to be Lego figures and the original giant man actually re-creates the physique of a Lego figure but bigger. This just looks like one of those Lego action figures rather than a giant mini figure.
They should have taken the figures from Avengers tower and just tweaked them to fit in this set. C'mon Lego give us the sets we want not the ones we don't. Don't get me wrong buildable figures and mechs are nice to have. But it would be really cool to finally have Deadpool sets. Or Maguire trilogy sets. If Lego is gonna bring back old sets in the form of Infinity Saga sets. Why not bring back Tobey Maguire sets. There not mcu sets but we need a new Goblin minifig
12:15 ok so i actually dont mind this brick built one , you can take the wings off and make it like his wings have not deployed , and also his fatws wings are supposed to be super sleek, wakandan designed and it makes sense for them to be more compact than his older wings
I feel like after a lot of thinking I'm going to get this set on January 1st because I love the minifigures in this set, and I love the build techniques used in this set
im rly gonna miss the oversized minifigures. i have the one ninjago legacy set with the 4 armed stone warrior and that one is amazing. theyre just so quirky and fit the lego style a lot more
I’m hoping we see an expansion set, similar to the No Way Home final battle. Just a smaller set that can connect to this one that comes with Hawkeye, War Machine, and Vision
Isn’t this supposed to be an airport battle? Which are uhh, usually big open spaces, something the base doesn’t provide. And including an entire figure-style ant man as part of the set even though they made one its own set last year, and I’m fairly certain it was the same suit as well? Making the base bigger and either deleting ant man or making a new big Lego fig version would do wonders for this
This set is priced at almost 00.15 cents a piece, which is as bad or even worse pricing than Ashoka's Jedi Intercepter (priced at 00.14 cents a piece).
This set exemplifies where lego marvel is at and what to expect from sets. Iron Man is the only figure that will get a new head piece, torso printing and leg printing. The only other new pieces I believe in this set are the winter soldier torso and black panther head and torso. All the other figures are reuses. Falcon minifigure is from the hulkbuster infinity war set, not from avengers Tower. Character specific arm and leg printing will be more likely for CMF series and any leg printing will be generic for figures so it can be repurposed. I think price per piece ratios will be pretty high too. I think these kinds of sets are being developed with higher costs and budgets in mind. The 2025 batcave that's rumoured is also around this price point and I'm a huge batman fan but I'm not expecting a set anything like the previous versions. I could be wrong though
Well I dont think the quinn jet is such a bad thing because its supposed to be "frozen" mid action, i do get its hard to see everything and everyone, but in the movie it just was so much open space. In the age of uotron one you have a jeep but can't drive it, but good review over all.
I feel like this set would have been a better concept as 2 diorama sets, team iron man could be on set and team cap the other set. Then it could be a larger diorama set and cheaper individual sets
The action figure line would be sick if they made monster themed ones for godzilla, kong, mothra, scar king, etc. they just seriously need lego godzilla already
I had that original airport battle set as a kid but i tore it apart and used the pieces to build other stuff but I do think this set is an upgrade. though i dont like the new giant-man in this set. i say its an upgrade cause its no longer like 75% quin-jet like the previous.
Wanda having the wrong hair and magic, Bucky having the wrong hair and torso and no arm printing, half the other figures reusing past outfits... This could have been so much better.
Tbh a lot of the figures r downgrades from the 2016 set, for starters, Wanda's hair color is all wrong, her legs could use a little printing, her magic is always the wrong color, Captain America is okay but it's just missing smth, Falcon looks amazing, Black Widow is decent, Winder Soldier is missing some kind of printing on his arm and legs, Spiderman is fine, but tbh my biggest problem is always Wanda, they could have given her the same waist cape she had in the 2016 set and same hair piece, but HER MAGIC IS NOT PINK IT...IS.....RED
Honestly if they took away Giant-Man and used the parts to have more building, it would have been a really good set. Maybe they just didn’t want to confuse that with a regular buildable figure set.
I genuinely felt we could've gotten a normal sized Giant-Man/Ant-Man Scott Lang minfigure for his Civil War suit.
There’s already an Ant Man construction figure anyway too so we could’ve just used that
Yeah i dont think we need a jet nor an ant man, just a good setting to display both teams. I wouldnt replaced those builds w all the figs and a bigger platform
@@lsandjs9793no we need a Quinn jet it’s a key part of this scene
Or they could have added the missing 300 pieces and make it a fair price.
Edit: What I mean by make it a fair price is that adding on an extra 300 pieces would bring it down to 10 cents a piece instead of almost 15 cents a piece.
One of the worst downgrades LEGO has ever done
I agree
Correct
I had the original when I was ten and it was one of the best LEGO sets I had back then

9:46 The fact that Tony is the only MCU character who ever gets consistent movie accurate minifigures is incredibly sad. It’s been 8 years we should be past this by now.
When Iron Man would be inaccurate, nobody would buy this set ngl😢. Iron man is the main reason. I like they keep upgrading his old suits
Allow me to say that it bothers me that giant man’s design doesn’t make sense cause it’s supposed to be a minifigure. Just bigger

amen. the old one is better.
The Harry Potter and Hermione buildable figures would’ve been the perfect design for Giant Man imo
They better do that with Galactus or I SWEAR TO GOD! I will send a complaint to Lego.
@@minsooo please. They need to
@@potatostudiosdeluxe3306 nah man, heard about minifigure of the thing already make me disappointed😢
I know, right? I'm shocked we haven't gotten more characters like that in other themes.
Awesome video ash
This set sits with the Duel on Peridea and Obiwan vs Vader Duel in the "sets with expensive flat grey bases class"
This could've easily been a $70 set...
More like it should've only been $70, $100 for this and that age of ultron diorama set from this year are flat out ridiculous
The fact that people call this a diorama is sad because those black plates do nothing and just take up the piece count where they could be used to expand the build
Giant man should be built as an up-Scaled minifigure
Well that probably would be its own set if you are talking about what those Harry Potter sets were.
You should watch tommycbrick’s civil war moc. He made a massive one that is even bigger than the Harry Potter ones.
Off topic but I just heard a rumor that we will not be getting any Superman Movie 2025 sets. The mech releasing in January appears to be the only Superman set we will be getting. We all need to go buy that Superman mech to show support non Batman sets now more than ever.
I hope we at least get a Daily Planet UCS set announced at some point.
Nice! Thanks for the review!

1:39 The Quinjet in this set should’ve been more secure and not flimsy, and even the back walls need to be pushed back a little bit more.
Why do I feel like the play sets for marvel and starwars are getting worse. I mean the display expensive sets for both are amazing (The Milano, Daily Bugle, Razor crest, Venetor….) but the play sets used to be awesome as well…
Also reusing the incorrect figures for Marvel sets. Like the weird Thor face the keep reusing. And don’t get me started on the new Iron Man helmet design…. Awful
That scarlet witch figure is just horribly innacurate
The new Iron Man helmet isn't that bad once you get used to seeing it. It works better for some suits than others.
@Sprinklespark08 thats fair. I can see that.
I was so hype when this set was first leaked and I can’t believe how disappointing it is 😕 and also OG LEGO GIANT MAN >>>>>>>
they need to make an extra set lik what they did for the spider man no way home final battle
1:55 that was kinda funny, if you know.💀💀
why do they never want to make a Ant-Man mini figure anymore😭😭😭😭
He’s getting one in a endgame set next year I think
Yea it’s still one i don’t have
I actually really like that quinjet design, the colors and overall aesthetic is pretty nice:)
8:10 i prefer that ant man the size doesn't matter the smaller one looks cooler
They need to make a Avengers Quinjet that’s like the same size as the Benatar, Milano and S.H.I.E.l.D Quinjet
Ashandflash Best 4k reviews keep it up!
I really dont unserstand why War Machine isnt in this set. hes such a vital part of the whole giant man sequence, and i dont understabd why lego keeps dping Brickbuild Falcon wingsm they look so bad. they have the CMF wing piece and just refuse to use it

Love the Speed running joke, that was great.
can you try implementing the old set into the new one? like an expansion pack. very interested in seeing how all the airport sets connect.
I want lego to do the age of ultron Hulkbuster vs hulk scene again.
Interesting that they flipped the positions of the quinjet and giant man on the box
we definitely need a extension pack with hawkeye, war machine and vision
They should have taken the figures from Avengers tower and just tweaked them to fit in this set. C'mon Lego give us the sets we want not the ones we don't. Don't get me wrong buildable figures and mechs are nice to have. But it would be really cool to finally have Deadpool sets. Or Maguire trilogy sets. This is so epic. There are lots of figures
Iron Man is basically the only good new figure here, Black panther is fine too though.
12:15 ok so i actually dont mind this brick built one , you can take the wings off and make it like his wings have not deployed , and also his fatws wings are supposed to be super sleek, wakandan designed and it makes sense for them to be more compact than his older wings
Id take more minifigs over a non scale jet. Id be fine w just an airport build. We need some Hawkeye love
One of the best speed runs I have ever seen LOL
I feel like after a lot of thinking I'm going to get this set on January 1st because I love the minifigures in this set, and I love the build techniques used in this set
This helped alot cause I didn't know to get or not so thanks
That set will be the first set i will get in 2025 🥳🥳
the giant-man is so out of proportion w the rest of the airport that it feels like a giant-man set w the avengers as accessories
Wow cool
im rly gonna miss the oversized minifigures. i have the one ninjago legacy set with the 4 armed stone warrior and that one is amazing. theyre just so quirky and fit the lego style a lot more
Nice set. I wish it had more minifigures.
I’m hoping we see an expansion set, similar to the No Way Home final battle. Just a smaller set that can connect to this one that comes with Hawkeye, War Machine, and Vision
I know the buildable figures aren't your favorites but I think a comic accurate SP//DR mech and Penni Parker minifigure would be awesome
Isn’t this supposed to be an airport battle? Which are uhh, usually big open spaces, something the base doesn’t provide. And including an entire figure-style ant man as part of the set even though they made one its own set last year, and I’m fairly certain it was the same suit as well? This set is priced at almost 00.15 cents a piece, which is as bad or even worse pricing than Ashoka's Jedi Intercepter (priced at 00.14 cents a piece).
The only good thing about this set is that Black Panther minfig if I’m being completely honest
I’ve had enough just if the reusing of the AOU cap, doing it for a second time just ruins it for me
no vision figure is a literal crime
Remember the old civil war airport battle costed 80
I put my large antman front the quantumnatia set last year in my endgame display so I don’t personally mind them using it for this set
I personally prefer the brick built wings for falcon, but I still wish there was a smaller piece to be on his back.
Let’s see the back set up for your War Machine? It looks good!
When they only thing you can compliment is the placing of the glass pieces...
It’s more the colour lol. I do like the ground though. But ya…
A remake of a 2015 quinjet would be nice or civil war one
This feels like they couldn’t decide if this should be a play set or diorama.
This set exemplifies where lego marvel is at and what to expect from sets. Iron Man is the only figure that will get a new head piece, torso printing and leg printing. The 2025 batcave that's rumoured is also around this price point and I'm a huge batman fan but I'm not expecting a set anything like the previous versions. I could be wrong though
Could you put the new Quinjet on top of the Avengers tower and compare it with the other small one.
Great review! Does the Quinjet fit in the avengers tower hanger?
Feel like instead of doing that battle platform they should made the quinjet better
Well I dont think the quinn jet is such a bad thing because its supposed to be "frozen" mid action, i do get its hard to see everything and everyone, but in the movie it just was so much open space. In the age of uotron one you have a jeep but can't drive it, but good review over all.
Does this Quinjet fits in the Avengers Tower like the one that comes with it?
I feel like this set would have been a better concept as 2 diorama sets, team iron man could be on set and team cap the other set. Then it could be a larger diorama set and cheaper individual sets
Exactly that way we could get all the figures from the movie. Also Lego would make money cuz people would want to buy the whole sets.
I feel tho Lego is getting cheaper in quality and more expensive in price
I think it's a great looking display model, but the giant man build just should have been a minifigure build
Three videos in 1 day
Can you compare the Antman figure to the the standalone construction antman?
Ngl all I really like in this set is the tiny quinjet build.
It’s kinda weird how ant man has realistic human proportions and fingers while the rest of the characters are minifigs
Emotional Damage
Ashnflash just sounds so tired of life in this video
buildable figures will do that to a person lol
True @YIPPEE420
The action figure line would be sick if they made monster themed ones for godzilla, kong, mothra, scar king, etc. they just seriously need lego godzilla already
I’m getting this
It is a complete waste of money
We keep getting these awful buildable figures, but they won’t bring Bionicle back.
I just watched this movie when it first came out my parents wouldn’t let me watch it because I was too young
I had that original airport battle set as a kid but i tore it apart and used the pieces to build other stuff but I do think this set is an upgrade. though i dont like the new giant-man in this set. i say its an upgrade cause its no longer like 75% quin-jet like the previous.
Should've had a more legofied Giant man like 2016.
Does thequin jet fit in the tower
Wanda having the wrong hair and magic, Bucky having the wrong hair and torso and no arm printing, half the other figures reusing past outfits... This could have been so much better.
Here’s to hoping Bucky gets the Kanan Jarrus treatment
I hope one day they make a avengers endgame set with ronin and avengers infinity war with a new version of nomad Captain America
And there also should off been an ant man normal minifigure also with giant man so you have the substitution of characters
Ash in flash, what happened to the iron man hall of amour roomed set?
Maybe they do the exact same thing like they did in 2016 and make and extension set with the missing characters like hawkeye and vision
That style of big fig doesn't bug me but this design in specific does. Old one was so much better and this doesn't have vision.
We didnt need another jet we already have 20
I liked more the old versión of this set, this versión is a perfect example of a pond from lego marvel sets
It's not a bad set in general, but I am glad I have the original... Something's off with this though.. Bucky, the G Man weird.
why can’t they give BP the claws from the lego games? the wolverine claws don’t look very good
Why do Bucky, Sam, and Nat have the exact same legs?
Why can't they ever make Scarlet Witch's powers consistently red? Why is it pink now after getting the color right just recently...
Where is Hawkeye, War Machine and Vision?
the first avenger suit and the winter solider golden age suit are different
I much preferred giant man as a bigger Lego minifig than whatever this is
We don’t need the terrain, it would’ve been so much better if they used those pieces to build an actual large quinjet and a decent looking airport
I personally liked the original giant man. The blocky build just fits more the blocky design of the characters. Just my opinion tho.
Using one of those construction figures as a giant Ant-Man in this minifigure scale set is honestly kinda brilliant.
Why would they release this after Christmas 😭
