6:49~7:39 Where is Joseon? There was a war between the Joseon Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty in a war called Byeongjahoran. Joseon was defeated by the Qing Dynasty However, it was never annexed by the Qing Dynasty. It is a country that has continued to exist by paying tribute.
6:37 At this time, the Qing Dynasty did not kill Joseon, but only subjugated it. Afterwards, Joseon was maintained and . 7:49 This changed to the Korean Empire that appeared in this scene.
That is not true. Joseon was not a land of the Qing Dynasty. And even if Goryeo offered tribute to the Yuan Dynasty, it was not the land of the Yuan Dynasty.
6:39 Joseon was not annexed to Qing. The Joseon Dynasty lasted until 1910 and disappeared into history when King Gojong, the king of Joseon, declared the Korean Empire.
Korea was a subordinate country to China and Japan, and then to the United States.Historically, there was no time when Joseon was an independent country.
"The Qing invasion of Joseon occurred in the winter of 1636 when the newly established Qing dynasty invaded the Joseon dynasty, establishing its status as the center of the Imperial Chinese Tributary System and formally severing Joseon's relationship with the Ming dynasty."
@@leolee4101 After 1636's invasion, relationship between Qing and Joseon was similar to that between Ming and Joseon. The word 'colony' cannot describe exact relationship between China and its neighbor countries.

6:25 Joseon only applied the same diplomatic relations with Ming to Qing China. If Joseon was expressed as part of the Qing Dynasty because of the tribute appointment relationship, Korea should mark it as China's inner quarters for more than 2,000 years, but you did not. I think this fallacy is due to your lack of knowledge of traditional diplomatic relations in East Asian History. In the future, when you make videos related to history, please make them based on accurate information. I'm sad that over 2000 years of Korean history has been denied because it was dismissed as a local government or a local history of China.
At this time, it was not annexed by Mongolia, but there was an independent king, diplomatic power, etc However, he could become a king only with the permission of the Mongolian king And Balhae, Goguryeo, Gojoseon, Silla, Baekje, Gaya is the history of Korea. 6:37 At this time, Joseon was defeated by the Manchu Invasion of Korea in 1623, but an independent king remained and an independent country remained.
Chinese character Jin(金) of Jin dynasty (1115-1234) is different from those of other Jin(晋) dynasties, although they pronounce the same in modern mandarin. In 5:00, it should be 金 instead of 晋.
Some errors are regarding the status of Korea. In the times of the yuan, Korea was never integrated into the Mongolian Empire itself. Korea then was client state that Mongolians considered as "駙馬國" (I don't know what that's called in Mongolian, but it basically means Son-in-law state as Mongolian nobilities usually married Korean nobilities) In the time of Qing, Korea was never integrated, but briefly a protectorate in the 19th century (before then, Korea was an informal tributary state, with autonomy high enough to manage its own foreign affairs). so it's simply incorrect to color the whole of Korea part of a foreign empire. otherwise, it's pretty much correct
There is no doubt that Korea was a vassal state of the Chinese dynasty for a long time. The ceasefire treaty of the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592-1598) was also between Japan and Ming. I think I have maintained my country by becoming a vassal state.
The relationship between the Ming and Qing Dynasties and Korea is similar to the relationship between the Ottoman Empire and Wallachia/Bulgaria (Ottoman Empire and Wallachia have different cultures and use different scripts, while China and Korea have similar cultures and use the same script. The same is true for Vietnam) King of Korea needs to be recognized by the Chinese emperor and appointed documents. In addition, China needs help when North Korea is invaded by foreign enemies
In the song and Yuan Dynasties, there were quite a number of Han people in Penghu. After the Han people opened up Penghu, they began to develop to Taiwan, bringing advanced production technology. In the middle of the 12th century, the Southern Song Dynasty put Penghu under the jurisdiction of Jinjiang county (now Jinjiang County in Fujian Province) and sent troops to guard it. [7] Contacts between the mainland and Taiwan have become increasingly frequent. The Yuan Dynasty further strengthened its administration of Taiwan. The emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty once sent officials to Taiwan to declare the people's livelihood, and set up a Penghu inspection department in Penghu, which was subordinate to Tongan County, Quanzhou Road, Fujian Province (now Xiamen, Fujian Province). Although Taiwan island was not directly incorporated into it, it was the first official establishment of Taiwan by the central government of China.
In the correct In November 1281, the Yuan dynasty under Emperor Shizu officially established the Penghu Patrol and Inspection Agency under the jurisdiction of Tong'an County, incorporating Penghu into China's borders 403 years earlier than Taiwan. I think it need to be titled rather as "Asian history" not "Chinese history" only. 3:29 Gogurye and 4:12 Balhae in Manchuria area has been considered as Korean ancient history based on primary sources. The most important thing to look at is 6:39. there is core difference between colonial system and tributary system. Korea (Joseon) was under the Chinese tributary system during Ming and Qing dynasties with national sovereignty. (the style of tributary system applied to Korea(Joseon) was not changed in Qing dynasty) Korea lost sovereignty only when she was annexed by Japanese Empire.
@@lx6461 it's people, culture, and how they thought themselves are most attributed to modern day koreans 1. Their language. Most words that have been analyzed look Korean 2. Their territory but more specifically how they affected Manchuria. There are Korean like loanwords within the Manchu language which guess what? Used to be Goguryeo and Balhae territory 3. Their culture. The Chinese called Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla identical. So much so that the Chinese, Those 3 Kingdoms, and even Japan called them "The 3 Kingdoms" as in a broader term there was no need to distinguish them. Goguryeo considered Baekje and Silla to be the same people as them but also hated them because they were the same but weren't part of their territory. That is why it is referred to as the Three Kingdoms. At the time why would any of those 3 need to consider themselves the same if they weren't? They didn't consider China as them nor Japan just the 3. 4. There are direct Goguryeo descendants within Korea. The last name Go or Ko comes from a general who was Goguryeon. Some errors are regarding the status of Korea. In the times of the yuan, Korea was never integrated into the Mongolian Empire itself. Korea then was client state that Mongolians considered as "駙馬國" (I don't know what that's called in Mongolian, but it basically means Son-in-law state as Mongolian nobilities usually married Korean nobilities)
In the time of Qing, Korea was never integrated, but briefly a protectorate in the 19th century (before then, Korea was an informal tributary state, with autonomy high enough to manage its own foreign affairs). so it's simply incorrect to color the whole of Korea part of a foreign empire.
otherwise, it's pretty much correct
Very good m'y bradther ❤
I'm mangol from France ❤❤

我支持你的看法
Is Korea equipped with history? South Korea is a subsidiary of China, a rubbish country with a history of several hundred years
Goguryeo is a Chinese minority regime, not Korean history
@@lx6461 it's people, culture, and how they thought themselves are most attributed to modern day koreans
1. Their language. Most words that have been analyzed look Korean
2. Their territory but more specifically how they affected Manchuria. There are Korean like loanwords within the Manchu language which guess what? Used to be Goguryeo and Balhae territory
The King of Goryeo Wang Geom was a Goguryeo descendant and his descendants live in Korea
