Ada, Michigan / 4K Drone Video

This is a nice quick drone overview of Ada, Michigan which is approximately 10 miles east of Grand Rapids. Ada is the home and headquarters for Amway Corporation. I grew up in Cascade, just to the south of Ada. I graduated with Dick DeVos, Jr. and watched Amway grow from a small, one building facility to a massive complex along Fulton. If you don't mind living in a community more or less "directed" by Amway and the families that own/run the company, then you'll probably enjoy living in Ada Township.

You are indeed correct that the Devos's and the Van Andel's have a lot of influence in the area. I live west of Grand Rapids and thought it was a neat little town like many around West Michigan. I miss the old Ada charm but the new Ada should be neat also. Still a work in progress. I guess we will see when it is finished. Time will tell. Thanks for the comment. Have a Merry Christmas.

@opticalflow7739 Same to you. I visit GR and Ada about once a year and have seen the changes in "downtown" Ada. I understand what the city officials and other "influencers" are trying to do, but I do miss the quaintness of the old village. But times change....

The Grand Rapids area has always been a nice area to live overall. Like anywhere, is always in flux. It's Ada's turn I suppose. If you haven't checked out my other videos please visit my channel.
