Ada, Michigan has changed dramatically in the last couple of years. Ada, became famous for holding the headquarters of Amway. People would say Amway and correlate that with the phrase, "Oh, isn't that in Ada, Michigan?"
Amway is an American multi-level marketing company that sells health, beauty, and home care products. The company was founded in 1959 by Jay Van Andel and Richard DeVos and is based in Ada, Michigan. Amway and its sister companies under Alticor reported sales of $8.4 billion in 2019. (Wikipedia).
Back in 2006, planning began to renovate Ada Village with construction commencing July 15, 2015. The upscale village with the new shops, exquisite restaurants, Ada Market and amphitheater truly make this a social gathering place for kids and adults alike.
