There are some new features that Garuda Hyprland have, named as G-Hyprland .
in newer ISOs it can be enabled by keybinding , Mod+shift+g
and same keybinding can be used to disable it .

From the Americas I wish they could make an Acrylic theme like Windows 11 with acrylic context menu that would be an amazing upgrade for the Garudo distro to compete with Microsoft they need to add a combine when taskbar is full option for the icons to make it feel more like Windows.

Still prefer debian over arch on stability, i use distrobox when i want arch linux in debian
I hope you don't mind me asking a dumb question here, I've been using Garuda Hyprland for a while now and even though it's updated (as of today), I can't get the new features to work. Is there anything else I should be doing to get the new G-Hyprland to work? Thanks for all the hard work!
That's not any bad question actually a lot of peoples are confused ^^;
a simple workaround would be :
run :
~~~
upd - a
cp -r /etc/skel/.local/bin/ .local/
~~~
And paste this in your hypr config :
bind = $mainMod SHIFT, G, exec, footclient -e ~/.local/bin/bear/implement_gum.sh enable
Maybe you can tell it in the forum too in a new thread for me, that would be a kind help as I am not available for forum ATM due to some personal reasons :-)

I am so far liking the Garudo distro over Windows it would be cool if you guys adopted Windows 7 and made your own Linux version of the Operating System that is similar to Windows i've been wanting to request someone to resurrect older Windows as a Linux distro can't wait to post on the forums and so far Steam games run stable on it this isn't just a Linux distro it's a personal ecosystem!
I mean that would be the KDE, Mint/cinnamon xfce with some theming. Windows still owns the rights to anything windows related so no one can really remake it the best option for that would be reactOS

That's a subjective thing.
I my own self don't use arch as I don't have time to tinker each and everything, I prefer distros which are just gets installed in 5 minutes and then I can start studying or use it to learn coding.
I don't say I completely don't like arch, I like arch for one thing which is you will get a lot to learn while using it, and I really love and respect those peoples who install arch and configure it by their own without using archinstaller script BTW.
For me garuda provides me distro which I can use as general purpose OS, which is through which I am replying to you currently , and I don't have any other OS installed, not even Windows, I ditched even before my teenage started ;)
The reason why so many distros exists is just because of this thing, that everyone has different use case, I still prefer my own neovim configs , but talking about basic things like having a different shell or having useful aliases for terminals or something like a backup system like snapper tools through which I can roll back my system to older state whenever I like is something which I am not interested to set up by my own self, I just want see lectures on ytfzf or write notes or do coding in neovim, and I don't have time to tinker each and every part of the system ;-)
And that's why there are lots of distro and that's how linux community thrives because there something for everyone :'D

@@AnkurAlpha indeed, I find garuda more user friendly, but arch has the flex of the neofetch logo lol
I am not that fancy of flexing, mostly because it is a clear invitation for help vampires 👀

@@starnumber12046 Garuda is Arch based. So technically you won't be wrong to also utter the words, "I use Arch btw"
Same way someone who uses NVChad or Lunarvim could also say, "I use Neovim btw"
You're still using the thing. You're just not having to start configuring from scratch.
