- From their homes in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Spain, Australia, Moldova, Ukraine & Russia as well as those dancers who have swapped their dancing shoes for scrubs the Riverdance cast have come together while being apart to say 'thank you' to all frontline and essential workers, as well as the people at home who continue to do their part in the fight against COVID-19.

Music and dance do not normally make me weep -- "Riverdance Together Apart" is definitely an exception.
I always did love Caoineadh Cu Chulainn, it's such a stunning piece of music. It's crazy to think some of these dancers weren't even born when Jean Butler and Michael Flately first danced Riverdance, what an amazing 25 years you've had. I personally saw a show in Wellington New Zealand a few years ago but my favourite will always be watching Jean Butler and Colin Dunne live from New York City on tv when I was a little girl.
To me, Riverdance is that presentation on PBS with Jean and Michael Flatley - the very original cast... I bought the VHS tape which I watched over and over - magical....

A real tear jerker and makes the hair stand on the back of the neck the way the original Eurovision performance did so many years ago. Congrats to all those wonderful people for the huge effort to make that video.
This actually made me cry! It made me so happy seeing someone in the show from my state (Colorado)

Twelve of us who graduated a long time ago from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY were to spend ten days in Ireland this month. We've postponed the trip but this video has meant so much to us.. Loved seeing the all the dancers, especially those from Buffalo and Clare Island! A beautiful tribute to the essential workers and those of us who are staying home. Slainte.
You brought so much joy to all who saw you in person and on video..when life gets me down I watch this and my heart soars like wings of eagles...thank you and come back we need this now!!

We booked three shows in Akron Ohio for late April 2020, all were postponed indefinitely. We are so looking forward to your rescheduled dates!
About the video, we vacationed in Ireland in 2016 many of the places in this video such a beautiful country and cheerful people!

Absolutely brilliant, such an uplifting message. Saw the original show in The Point 🎭 theatre in Dublin 25 years ago with Jean Butler and Michael Flatley, the Riverdance family just brings joy to the world.

I wish the title of river dance would stop, it is only a stupid commercial title ad for Irish dance, Irish dance is so much more. Dance was never apart and was never a river. It is a show that has become so cheap , so common, that the music almost lost it's soul. The title of river dance means nothing to me.

One thing we do agree on, a Big thank you to health professionals, yes through out the world now and always for the work they do.
