Good morning, friends! I'm so happy to be back posting videos! I'll have another video tomorrow as well. Do you decorate your guest bedroom (if you have one) for fall?
Tara, last year I decorated EVERYWHERE! I even did my back porch as well as the front! This year I am making over BOTH of my sons bedrooms in the midst of fall decorating and can NOT do it like last year, sadly! It is TRULY my favorite season and I am constantly tweaking it right up until Thanksgiving. I always enjoy your videos so much.

We just redid our guest room, including floor and new furniture. I have not decided on bedding and pillows yet. And we also have more projects we like to finish soon. So in my head I plan for next year. The fall colors of your bedroom would fit lovely.❤
Could you maybe switch dresser and mirror in the guest room? I do love though how you decorated especially the area on and above the dresser.
I've always decorated the guest bedroom. I can't stand to stay in a "guest room" that is an after thought. I stayed at one friends house & slept on a mattress on the floor in a big empty bedroom! Not even a mirror on the wall. They invited me months ahead. I wasn't a surprise guest. I still gave them nice gifts when I left.
Another thought for the letter board.... “ Stay Awhile”

I was literally about to say the same thing! We have tons of coffee table books at our house and it would be a great use for some.
Exactly what came to mind ❤️
Another idea might be is to go to a place like Michael’s and find a glass vase (fish bowl) that matches the shade of the lamp. You could glue it on. It would be cheaper than replacing the lamps.
Hi, can you paint the reverse side of the tiles for the message board and stencil the letters you need? Just a thought. Enjoy your videos.
Guest bedroom is beautiful! Have you thought of using the tiered tray for small bottled water and snacks for guests? Big change though. Great job. ❤️ Ps. Yes, I decorate the whole house including bathrooms. Lol

Hey...Why don't you turn the futon around and make the "little" space behind it where the guitar and balance beam is...make it look kinda separate. It would be nice like that. Incoroporate the futon into the guest bedroom.

Hello, Lovely! Good for you making it work and look so cozy and inviting. Perhaps try moving the futon to separate the two spaces. It would face the exterior wall and create a little nook for your husband’s instruments.
Slide the beams under the bed or the futon. I woulda moved the hanging clothes rack and the chair in that lil nook area/closet like..Add a reading lamp on the table with the futon in the corner where the clothes rack was. I like the lamps, soft subtle light, relaxing, not overly cluttering.

Everything you touch (decorate) is magic! The room looks fabulous! I love the little lamps but if you want to add height you could use a stack of books, little wooden riser or wood crate to raise up? Just a thought but I think they look great the way they are!😀

Missed you this week. Used to my "fix" of your sweet family, lol. That house was from Wally this spring. How do I know this?????? I enjoyed what you did downstairs. Oh, how I wish we had a basement down here in Texas. It would solve so many of my holiday hoarding problems. Thank you too for showing the trees changing. Talking bedrooms we just put a rug under our bed. I have to tell you I thought our bedroom was perfect but the rug was like the missing piece. It changed the look and the feel of the room. I took some time and looked around to find the right one. I wanted something for our master bedroom now, but also something in time could be moved to another room in our house. One last thing the song and footage at the end brought a tear to my eye brought back memories of when our kids were little. Oh Crystal they grow up so fast. You are such a great Mom!
Hi I think everything turned out so pretty. I don’t decorate for Halloween I normally keep my fall decor up until I decorate for Christmas. The boys are so cute with there tie dye shirts on . 🙏🏼💕

I love the way the room came out, makes me want to come visit and I hate basements. 😄 I so wish targwt had sold a pack of those letters separately as I have a hard time each season finding words myself for my little board. Love that the trees are changing colors. I go the long way home from work this time of year so I can admire them. So beautiful. I have that letter board. Took all the more used letters, laid them on my copier, printed it, then took a colored pencil to give them a wood look. and glue stuck them to the back of the existing letters. Way better.

I really like the lovely guest room. I always enjoy seeing how my own rooms turn out with what I already have in my decor. I redo for every season and holiday. Re your bedside lamps: you may like to try to elevate them with some books. It often works for me!

I just found a guest room pillow, it says “With you, I am home”. Maybe you have enough letters, or could stencil some on the back of other tiles

Your guest room looks great. I always shop my house before I go out and buy more. The pillows from your new couch looks good on the bed. I wouldn't worry about the lamps . Its a guest room its not used alot. Work with what you have. Love it.

what a great transformation. I would move the mirror behind the chair in the corner and put the beside lamps on books to give them some height and maybe slide the balance bars underneath the bed, just a thought.
