I live across the road from Warwick Castle. I love the place. The Summer concerts are amazing. I saw Noel Gasllagher last week and Gwen Stefani last year. Always a good day out. Also Just a stroll through the grounds (for free) is amazing. Do it most evenings. Love your channel
Hey Kylie! I don't know how this vid popped up in my feed, but I visited Warwick Castle when I was 13, in 1981. They didn't have any of the theme park stuff back then, though there was a band playing Medieval music in the courtyard, and knight on horseback in full armour (still have a picture with him.) Oh, the peacocks were there as well -- didn't know their name!😂 And those little "toilet grate" things in the Gaol are "Oubliettes" (French for "forgotten") because prisoners were tossed in there and left to die from cold or starvation. Thanks for the update!
Oh wow, this takes me back! I live quite close to Warwick and i used to visit Warwick castle so much when i was a kid. So many fond memories of the dungeon tours and exploring the grounds 😁
Warwick Castle looks fabulous! It’s a whole all-day entertainment package. It’s operated by a very professional outfit called Merlin Entertainments which operates many theme parks including all Legoland parks. I guess you fly into Birmingham and by car from there or take the train from London. The reason you saw those mannequins in the rooms is because Merlin also operates all the Madame Tussauds around the world. British food is indeed awful having gone to a boarding school in Dorset but their cakes, tarts and sweets (candies) are awesome. Try After Eight Thin Mints, Fruit Pastilles, etc.
So boarding school food is indicative of UK food? You are very narrow minded and l suggest you ask that boarding school for your money back. They have not taught you to be inquisitive, questioning and willing to learn
Yes to more travel vlogs from your Europe trip! This was definitely one of my favorites of the travel vlogs you've shared. The Falconer's Quest looks sweet seeing the birds fly around all freely. When you mentioned birds of prey, I instantly thought of the DC super team. The castle overall looked amazing and the dungeon looks so creepy. You looked awesome during the archery footage, especially with the whole fit you had on. I'd be all for a vlog of you and Scott doing archery. I think that would be cool and fun to see! Thanks for another wonderful travel vlog!
I do enjoy your adventures. When I had a chance to visit Spain and France with my son’s family being over there I told him I wanted to visit a Castle. On the trip my 63 birthday would be there. He call me back later and said he booked the morning of my birthday waking up in a castle in Spain. 😁 Suits of armor and catapults, witches museum, just a lot of adventures. Loved the Bird show. Here where I live we have a large indoor aviary to go to. Yes take up archery. 👍 Shoot an apple 🍎 off your boyfriend’s head. Oh, I saw your shot, maybe not. 😉 Dungeon experience 🤔 I’ve seen some really interesting devices for torture on my visit over there and people talk about the good old days. 😜😳 I’m sure you have more to still show. Yes, sometimes we think of the stuff we missed. But remember that takes planning. I hope next time you’ll be able to experience what you missed. 👍😁
Hey Kylie. If I remember correctly, the little hole with the grate over it is an oubliette - a hole where you stuffed someone (whilst they were alive) and literally forgot about them until they were dead. (The word “oubliette” comes from the French verb “oublier”, which means “to forget”.)
@@hartleyhare737 Hey! It's all good so long as the info gets shared. Thanks very much for the unnecessary apology, and respect for knowing medieval punishments!😂
It looks/sounds like it was fun. I've never heard of French Fancies but now I must try them. You dumping the box of them while wasted was *chef's kiss*.
Wow! This is some beautiful English countryside! Castles are so cool looking from the outside and so fun to explore on the inside! And those birds are beautiful! So cool that they dive into the crowds like that! Your archery skills could give katniss Everdeen a run for her money! You would kill it in the hunger games hahaha and the torture dungeon sounds like fun! I would’ve booed for sure haha Thank you my dark mistress for treating this peasant to a lovely tour of the English countryside! I’m envious lol I’ll retreat to my dungeon now, eagerly awaiting our next meeting!
Dang… now I wanna visit that place for the birds of prey show and bring my small sketchbook to draw everything in that castle for creating imagination. We all love the white owl from Harry Potter. 🦉 I kinda wanna visit the City Pillar shrine in Thailand and Monkey king temple. 🐵 Thanks for encouraging me to be a traveler! 👀
This “attraction” is hideously expensive. It costs over £80 on the door. Yes, you can get a big reduction on that by buying an advance ticket but it is not normal practice in the U.K. for having to purchase tickets in advance for historic sites like castles. Warwick Castle is owned by the owners of Madame Toussads whose attractions are all overpriced. If you want to visit it castle in the U.K. without losing your shirt then English Heritage and Scottish Heritage have many Castles and other historic sites which you can visit much cheaper.
Honestly, while I do like the more or less heavy editing and the narration from the room, I'd also love the more organic, more raw approach to some of the vlogs. Like: No or less music, less editing, more impression sharing on the spot, etc. Great content!
I’m never gonna be one of those “influencers in the wild” if that’s what you’re after, sorry 🤷🏽♀️ not gonna be talking to my phone in front of strangers like a weirdo if it’s not necessary. Just want to enjoy the scenery

Used to love Warwick castle .
Haven’t been since I emigrated to Australia in 2011.
Should have visited when I popped back to Brum in 2022
Did you really pick up that struggling Bumblebee and put it on a flower? That's awesome. 😊
Of course, the bees are our friends!
Yeah ' portchester castle portsmouth 🏴🇬🇧👍
Bow and arrows are great, it's a classic weapon. I also think ur build fits it very well

Oops, I should have read your whole post before posting my own! Doh!
You must've had an awesome time over there 🏰
Wow!!! That must have been an awesome trip!! Very jealous!!
If you're in Nottingham you should visit The Road to Jerusalem pub.
Is that the one right under the castle? I’ve been!

Very informative and quite light hearted, very good Kylie!
It’s Wo-rick,not War-wick. Just saying. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. 👍
Warwick Castle is owned by Madam Tussard Group ( Or used to be ) It's abit like Disney meets Historical Fact .

The smaller dungeon is an oubliette. They would put someone in there and just leave them to die
I think it means, 'to forget' in French.

Looks awesome.. the overcast is perfect for visiting a medieval castle imo..
Warwick Castle toured with Renaissanceesque music that morphs into adventure music. It checks.
The UK heritage is mint
Hello from the Uk.
Went there as a baby, I remember peacocks walking around.
❤ Awesomeness ❤
Holy hell that castle is amazing. Have you ever been to Kensington Palace? Not as cool as this place but just curious..

Has a bit more gravitas with an actual castle as a backdrop, rather than a plywood lookey likey sustitiute.
Ho , Without Tom Cruise, Thank God .
It's my birthday can you please drop a birthday comment
The way you say horror makes it sound like another word 😕
The hole in the dungeon floor is a Forgetting hole, it’s where they would throw people and then just leave them to die.
😧
They are properly known as oubliettes.
My intrusive horror thoughts warping The Falconers Quest into Hitchcockian killer bird pandemonium. Inner Cinema 🤌
Hahahah omg yes
