- Overcome his desire for revenge when learning his clan founded the village to create peace. Wanted to ensure peace is achieved/maintained by eliminating the major sources of conflict (Biju, seperated villages). Utilizing a method that had proven to work (common enemy). Protecting from the shadows governing as a God-like Shinobi eliminating threats. Like Pain did with the Rain village upon defeating Hanzo.

I realized after watching this episode Jiraya was definitely the greatest of the Sannin. He knew the Sasuke was him from the future. Hence why the sharingan activation didn’t surprise him at all. I personally think he knew everything especially after seeing boruto use the rasengan. He was a truly wise man.

This arc was stretched out? After the academy arc almost every arc was just 4 episodes. Not that it was a problem but this arc just a long as an original Naruto arc would have. Shippuden lasts longer than Boruto and original Naruto arcs tbh.
