There are Gaugemaster electomagnets at the uncoupling places. These are 90% below baseboard with just the end o f the electomagnet rod through the baseboard and level with the sleepers. Mostly Peco wagons are used where uncoupling is required. There is a hole drilled in the coupling shank and a bend staple is glued in. This is attracted to the magnet which causes the coupling to lift.
