I still feel that the Dollar Tree double stick tape has some good uses. Party banners, balloons, anything light. I used double stick tape last Christmas to keep small figurines, string lights and candles from falling over on the fireplace mantle. It worked really well. Great Video Vivian. Dollar Tree really should hire you as a spokesperson.
I've used it on dozens of lightweight things and it's great.
I used it to attach solar string lights around my above ground pool. Works great!

Hi! I ran to Dollar Tree for the doup Olay products. Just wanted to let y’all know I’ve been using it all this time, and I absolutely LOVE it! My skin was very dry in spots, especially flaky by my nose and eyebrows. Let me tell you, these Olay doup day and night creams are fantastic! I used Olay for a while, and it was great, but it was getting pricey even at Walmart. I was happy to give the BePure line a try and I am so happy I did! I grab it every time I see it because I am afraid they will stop selling it! I really see a big difference in my aging skin. ( I am 56) If you see it, give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!
I used olay cream cleanser and day and night creams before, but with all the prices going up in everything I can no longer afford it, so when I saw the dupes at dollar tree I picked them all up and have been using them almost a month and they work exactly the same. Love the dupes! N Best part is I can pick up a couple at a time 😅. Hi Viv 🤗❤

I use Nano tape to keep collage photo frames on the wall from shifting when I dust. I would not trust it to hold the frame on the wall, but is great to keep them straight as I dust.
I definitely want to try the Olay dupes. I love the brand name.
The Dollar Tree Alien Tape dupe would work well for hanging paper products like posters or notes. It would be fine for light items.

I love that I can put the cheap knockoff olay on my arms...I wouldn't with the expensive....and helps hydrate so much better than a regular lotion.
I’m going to get the dollar tree space tape for my Jeep ducks! So much cheaper than name brand and should have no problem keeping my ducks from rolling around on my dash.
The Olay containers are deceptive, they look big on the outside, but they have a double layer, so they don't have as much product as you think they would.
Last year that hot glue gun was recalled by Dollar Tree, so just make sure they aren’t anymore. It’s possible that if they are selling them again, maybe they fixed the issue that they had. I think they said they were a possible fire hazard 🤷🏻♀️
Yes. When I worked there last year they sent us recall sheets and we had to pull them all off shelves and cut the cords before tossing in dumpster.
@KerrieKat I still work there and was wondering if the store didn't pull these out the back. Haven't seen anything saying we will carry again!!
My four favorite reasons to shop Dollar Tree. First, the Dollar Tree is the best store to shop when you don’t know what you need, but you think it might be in a store. Second, I can walk the aisles of the Dollar Tree knowing that nothing in the store is out of my price range! Third, you can buy three birthday cards for under 20$. Heck, you could buy 40 cards for that, but who needs that many cards? Fourth, I can compare notes with Vivian.
I used to work @ dollar tree and its custimers that buy that amount or more for the whole year on cards. Diffrent ones of course

I was shocked when I bought the $27 box of cream only to discover how tiny the product was ... I'm going to try the Dollar Tree 🌳 one. My skin is not that sensitive, nor does it require a lot of maintenance (thank ya Jesus!) 😊 I'm willing to take one for the team 😅 I finally found the holy grail of Dollar Trees 🌳 in my city. It's about a 20-minute drive 🚗 but 101% worth it 😅 I can finally have the feeling of excitement when I shop there 🎉

Anna, I finally found a decent store too this weekend! My sister could not understand why I was so excited. I said you just don't get it. This store was huge, clean, stocked! The manager was stocking some shelves, I stopped right in front of him and thanked him for an amazing store. He said thank you and I try hard. My sister was in the car with her dog so I couldn't spend much time there but I did find three items I have been trying to find for months! I'm going back every weekend. It's about 25 minutes away but so worth it.
Heads up, US Dollar Tree customers ... was just at my local DT in Windsor, Ontario (across from Detroit) and new price tags are now being slapped on a lot of products ... from $1.75 and some as high as $2.00. When I cashed out I said to the cashier that I was really disappointed, and she said, "Well, you know, all the stores are upping their prices." Which is true, but Dollar Tree is not high end.. it's everyday people buying their stuff, and they're going to be pricing us out at this rate.
Just letting y'all know what's coming ... if there are products you buy a lot, maybe stock up now before they're more expensive.

@@Kahlua2U No... that was taken care of when we moved to $1.50 two years ago (We had been at $1.25, while y'all were paying $1.00) This is just gouging, to my mind.
That's interesting, a cashier (I'm in Ohio) just told me a few days ago lots of their prices are going back to a dollar, which is what Vivian (and others) have told us.

I've been using the dt micellar water for ages, i buy cotton pads from there, and found myself a cute jar w a lid there too and i fill it w the micellar and soak my cotton rounds in it so i have them ready to go when i need to wipe my eyes down
Vivian always has me buying stuff. The meat crusher had my stepmom like "I've never heard of that" and I don't cook, but I was like "but Vivian said so!"
I’m still looking at DT for one. I have about 6 DT’s near me , and run in all the time. I haven’t seen one yet~ but I do definitely find lots of other goodies.

Something I noticed about dollar tree is the first one or two times I see and buy a product, it’s pretty good. But then the quality just kind of starts to drop off (or the container magically gets smaller whenever I go to rebuy it). For example, the Mr. clean sponge dupes used to be pretty good but now they immediately disintegrate when you try to use them. I’ve noticed the oxy-ultra deluxe brand dish soap is like water with food color now. It didn’t used to be like that.
My brand name mr clean sponges disintegrate the minute I use them.
I've been using that Micellar water for over a year now and I can't believe how good it is. I don't wear much make-up (usually just blush/eyeliner/mascara/lipstick) Not only does it remove that beautifully, but even if for a day I've worn no make-up, I use the micellar water after washing my face, and my cotton pad has dirt on it. It also makes my face very soft and moisturized feeling.
I've seen some makeup tutorials on here, and one of the ladies sometimes uses the Micellar water for her morning wash. Claims it's perfect for morning routine because she removed all her makeup the night before. I believe it was due to her having dry skin, which I'm more on the oily side, but said it works great for her! 👍✌
I have been using the micellar water for over a year as well. I first started using it as a dupe for an expensive micellar water shampoo. The DT water removes buildup and leaves hair squeaky clean but doesn't strip it like some clarifying shampoos.
@mikdraw is it a dupe for the wonder water by Loreal? If not, what brand name product is it a dupe for?
The DT sticky tape is good for lightweight things. I use it on my walls to help keep bottom of picture frames from shifting. And on the underside of open containers in my utility drawer to keep them from sliding around. If you use two rolls, each cut in half, you can use it to hold lightweight rugs in place. Because you can reuse them by getting them wet, they work well for these types of rugs because you can remove the rugs for washing.

I usually use Garnier micellar water, but picked up that bottle at Dollar Tree when I saw it a few months ago. The bottle I have has never been cloudy and it seems to work as well as the Garnier. I am going to do a side-by-side like you just did with foundation, eyeliner, and lipstick and report back.

Vivian can you do your best finds or most repurchased DT products…mine will always be the Moisture Eliminator Boxes at DT. They have the cheapest dupe for Damp Rid products. My DT’s have been out of the boxes forever now so I have had to resort to ordering them online from the DT website 😢. I have them shipped to my house.
Hi Vivian! So I tried all 3 products and I agree with your ratings. After 5 days of using all 3 products, I can honestly tell a difference in my skin. It’s much smoother and when I wake up in the morning, my face is very moisturized. I only wish I would have taken a before and after video.

I love the microcellular water. I used to buy it at Sally Beauty but now can get it at a fraction of the price at Dollar Tree. I live in the mountains and work outside and it takes all that mountain dirt off my face. :)
I was so glad that our dollar tree had that micellar water! My 8 year old loves to practice makeup for fun and goes through it so quickly!

Dollar Tree sold Glue Guns before and they were recalled and you could return without a receipt for $1.00. I believe they were a fire hazzard. Can't wait to see if my stores have these "dupes." Thank you.
I have used space tape and absolutely love it!!! Works just as good as the other one! I used it for my 8x10 pictures! It also does not take the off my wall or paint!

BPure is not a Dollar Tree company, and from what I see online they make various name-brand cosmetics.
Love the video, Vivian. Thanks for sharing. Those dollar tree glue guns were on recall at the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022. I took all of mine back. They started fires. Just be careful when you use them. I don't trust them. Keep up the great work🎉

Since the hole in the bottom is too small for a tea light, maybe try a glow stick? The DT in my area sells a tube of (20?) glow-in-the-dark bracelets - that would set you up for the whole season!

You can get the alien tape at Lowe's. It worked wonders for me. I used foil or parchment or the package to set it on. It helped keep things put like shelf risers in my cabinets. Loved it.
RE: cleansing water: Dollar General has the dupe for the Garnier brand for $1. I accidentally picked up some not looking at price till I got to the register. Bottle almost identical. Works great. Crystal clear.
Now that I have bought every Derma Geek facial product available at every DT I could find in a 2 hour drive from my home I am on to the new find. I am never buying the overpriced products ever again even the Walmart Equate brand 😅

I wear very little to no makeup, and I'm very sensitive to soap, so I use micellar water, exclusively, and I have found that the dollar store ones seem to be soapier/oilier than brand names. I exclusively use the Garnier Vitamin C micellar water, and it is excellent.
I was also super excited to see you feature the skulls from Dollar Tree (I'm a fanatic, with skulls everywhere), but was kinda hoping for a cameo from your new gold skeleton.

bpure is its own name brand carried at my local Wal-Mart, CVS, etc.. I found so much at Dollar Tree and its bpure BABY is also at Dollar Tree these items go for 3×'s and up at other stores...the bpure consideration facial capsules for Niacimanide, etc go for 9.00/14.00 everywhere else and Dollar Tree is 1.25 ... I have been posting about Dollar Tree carrying this brand for the past 6mths, etc..

Yes, I love the Dollar Tree Glue Gun, I brought mine some several yrs ago when, they were 99cents, I have had it forever, because, I had a glue gun that quit working and, of course the ones at Walmart went up in price and, I didn’t want to pay that price again and, it quit working. Dollar Tree electrical items really hold up better!
I've had my dollar treetree hot glue gin for over a decade and acidently left is plugged up for a whole 3 days straight about 5 years ago and it still works like nothing in fact it works better than the Walmart one 😂

I have had mine for years now and it is still going strong. I do see the length of the cord being limited but I just use an extension cord on it.
From someone who has major face skin allergies, I don't mess with anything but Olay.
I can use DT on my hands and body.
But for the moisturizer for my face, it is Olay all day.
(Yes, I am on a budget.
But with Olay's moisturizer, a little goes a long way.)

What are the first three ingredients in both creams ?
When using stuff like that where you hang things you should always clean the surface first with alcohol let it dry then place it. It will hold better.
