so I was in Denver for the weekend of the fight. ran into some locals and started some small talk and this fight came into discussion. Apparently Alvarado is a party animal and partied pretty damn hard leading up to this fight pretty often & it showed. They said that guy would get smashed at bars, not talking one or two beers but hammered.he did say after the fight he didn't train hard enough lol.

It's honestly hard to tell. If you look up early interviews that Alvarado did just after the first Rios fight he talks in the same way. I think it's just his natural way of speech but it does make it hard to tell when he might being showing evidence of permanent brain damage. Rios is the same way; his heavy lisp makes it difficult to tell when he's actually slurring his speech.

I'm gonna give the edge to rios this time around. Simply Bc rios is alot more hungrier than Alvarado. Alvarado has taken some Pryor bad beat downs by rios 1and II ..got massacred by Ruslan ,and schooled by Marquez. Pryor to the Ruslan fight , Alvarado got into an altercation in a bar, where someone busted a bottle on his face (visible scar on his face) and now recently, he got arrested for driving with no registration, and carrying a pistol with out a permit while driving around in a bad area. Alvarado need to get his shit together- real talk. Flushing his talent down the drain smdh.

Both are medium quality boxers, Alvarado vs Marquez and Rios vs Paquiao, they were seen like amateurs, is gonna be a good figth though.

what makes people have "tough skin" as opposed to people who cut easy "soft skin". For example, between these two fighters Rios swells up most of the time and does not cut and Alvardo swells up and gets cut rather easily and early on in the face. Is it sun exposure, melanin deficiency or genes... any one know? Its almost like asking what makes someone has a tough chin versus Amir Khan chin (stance, weight/height body mass etc...) Or is it simply you make a living getting punched in the face expect to get cut lol

Rios vs. Alvarado 3! Damn Rios is already is damn near punch drunk. Just listen how Rios talks. This is going to be a good fight but in the early rounds Alvarado is going to throw bombs on Rios face and Rios will walk through them like their nothing.

This fight isnt all that interesting. Alvarado has been destroyed times in a row badly. Rios hasnt won a fight in two years and in his last fight he looked terrible.
Both of these fighters are done. Alvarado doesnt seemed like he wants it anymore and is ready to quit the game. Rios has declined and isnt bout to improve himself and show us something new, he's just more of the same.
I think Rios will win simply cuz Alvarado isnt 100% there and has had too much punishment in his career so he will probably crack when it gets rough.
