thanks G
Just to tell I like your video and even more your pictures :)
Wow, the guys were so nuch fun.
In the end, it was not what happened, but what was in the mind of the photographer
I was sleepy, but after your video had started, it opened my eyes! I love your framing, learned a ton! Thanks
I just stumbled upon your videos. And in a matter of 5 minutes, you've taught me more than half of the UA-camrs I've watched for 10 years. That is such an accomplishment! I was hooked within minutes. SUBSCRIBED! 😊
Stop lying.
Literally stunning photos!!!
Hey mate, your BTS is awesome! I love the way you make the day flow so smoothly. By the way, I don't think you have a "What's in my bag" video yet? I hope you do one soon! Cheers!
WOW what a video and what a location oh my gosh! Loved all your helpful tricks, but could you maybe put the settings next to some photos? Just for reference !
Loved hearing your tricks to poses
I love the groom leading her at the end and the turning the corner pose around the flower bed toward you. Love it. Trying that out today!!! Thank you Andrew!
Excelente, se aprende mucho. impresionante la ventaja de lo digital. Unas miles de tomas durante el evento, me supongo.
These are great! That venue is AMAAAAZING WOWWWW!!!
What was the little light you were using during the getting ready with me? Thanks
It's the Pocket Lite RBG from amazon. its blue little phone size light and can create any color or temperature, its like $100 on amazon
Falcon Eyes Pocket Lite
congratulations excellent work
thanks for sharing this awesome video ..
Awesome video Andrew!
I shoot at this venue often, and your video gave me some great ideas to try next time. Your style is very unique, and offers something different! Great job!
Nice! I'm curious why no light is used.
Hi excellent photos what action or preset do you use to get that warm tone in photoshop. Many thanks
Thanks for the video. Really useful for me as a reference for shooting my first wedding in a few weeks time
Did you shot the whole thing on your 85mm or switch between two different lens on different bodies
Really loved this video, thank you for sharing your knowledge! Subbed and looking forward to watching more x
Brilliant video, thank you! What lens did you use for the ceremony please?
hi Andrew, you don't use flash? only light? what's the settings?
How’d you get good even light for the night time group photos! They can put great!
I use a flash with a defuser and also am holding a constant light. Camera settings are 1/200 shutter speed and f1.8 and ISO 2000, then put your flash on TTL (which is auto for flash) and then you can run around and shoot all night no problem! The light defuser is called the Gary fong light sphere, it’s like $90 but work’s incredibly well! Looks like a nice soft box and always gets great even lighting!
Awesome photos Andrew I had a question what little constant light were you using in the bridal room? It was a good bright one. Thank you sir
It’s called “Pocketlite RGB Falcon” on Amazon. It’s blue and the size on a large phone. Does every color and temperature so you match it to the light temp in the room you’re shooting. It’s $100. Lasts about 2-3 hours. Pretty sweet light!
@@Andrewphoto awesome man! One more question I see you shoot on auto ISO does it work pretty good I never tried it or you should be manual or aperture priority with auto ISO? Thanks again
Thank you so much. I have run into quite a few gate keepers and it's frustrating. I was voluntold for a wedding, never having done one, not even in my wheel house and I just learned so much from watching this. In your opinion what's the best camera to use, I only have a beginner level rebel t7 2000d with an 18-55mm lens and a 50mm lens.
Also can you recommend a good slave flash for my camera as my son broke the one it came with. TIA ❤❤
Good to hear! Yes id buy a Sony A7 iii as a cheaper option for professional wedding photography. I have quite a few. You can get better cameras if you have budget for it. Any new mirrorless camera canon or Sony or any of the ice cameras these days are more than good enough. It gets to a point where the gear doesn't even matter, if your photos and prompts and what you are photographing is good, thats what makes a good photo. But generally speaking if your camera body is less than $2500 it's probably not a great camera. Full frame is pretty essential for pro photography. I shoot with 35mm prime lens and 85mm prime lens for the whole wedding day. it's the best combo for weddings. As for flash idk just dont go cheap on your gear and you will be in good hands. I aimed for a mid priced flash, basically the more expensive the flash the brighter it flashes, meaning you can shoot flash photography from across the room and have it light up enough for a good photo. Dont go cheap on flash unless you plan on staying close and wanting to upgrade your gear soon after you buy it. Rule for life, you always get what you pay for.
Hi! Thank you so much for these videos! They are super helpful!
My question is: Do you have a specific posing order you do with the couples every time? If so, do you mind sharing? I have been struggling to find a flow that works well so I don’t miss any shots.
No specific order. I do have some go to poses in my head for when things are quick and we don't have a lot of time. but its a lot of the time me looking around nd seeing what will look good depending on the location. Something that ALWAYS looks good is hold ing hands walking looking at each other. Also having them lead each other one in front of the other person in front looking back. Big Dress shot is a must on the wedding day I believe we did that in this video in front of the barn! I would go into the wedding with 15 top prompts / poses and then do those at 3 different locations = 45 unique images. AND/OR 15 prompts / poses and capturing those from wide shoot say 20 feet back, normal 10 feet back, and close up 3 feet away from them. This gives you 3X mulitiplyer on ALL 45 of those photos giving you a 135 unique photos with only 15 prompts and poses!!
Beautiful work ! Do u have any editing tutorials thank you!
What is your go to settings for group photos ,and any advice for flash modifier in small spaces? Tnx
Nicee do u have any of how you edit the photos?
Fantastic! what gear you use on this job?
This may have been asked, but I am going to be honest and say I didn’t scan through all the comments, what lighting is your assistant utilizing? Love the look of the photos, and I am not a constant wedding photographer…I do it for small friend/family weddings only. This video is amazing, thank you for creating and sharing it!!
It’s on Amazon, I believe called falcon pocket lite RGB it’s like 7 inch and blue color. Has every light color you can create and effects. Super Bright. Last like 2-3 hours. Love that light. I have 4. Only $100. Great for nighttime. Not a great flash light
for outdoor photography.
Thank you so much!!
Are you using one body during the whole wedding, and what is your go to lens for the that ceremony?
Amazing video!🙌 How did you shoot 35 and 85 at the same time?🙂
I hold my cameras bottom to bottom against each other as if to join them as one camera and then make sure they are tilted correctly for the photo. And then I hold them both with both my hands and make sure my thumb or pointer finger is on the shutter button. It looks pretty funny when I’m doing it but it gets the job done.
@@Andrewphoto Smart and impressive! Thanks for the answer! 🤩
Hi! Do u use continuous focus when people are walking towards you?
I use continuous focus 100% of the time
Can I just ask. Why are the photos orange? Just being curious?
Idk this was in for a minute. I think UA-cam also made the colors a bit different too but yeah this is just a style I guess. I don’t love it anymore. Back to natural colors
What’s ideal time line for a wedding day
Okay one question I have, during the getting ready shots. Was the video light that was on only for the videographer? Or was that intentionally lighting your images as well?
great question, both is the answer. I actually love that little light for my photo only shots. it's kinda like off camera flash but easy and quick option.
Plz wedding videos upload
Thanks for the video, but why would you change the color of the groom and groomsmen suits from a royal blue to midnight blue. People choose a color theme at their weddings for a reason, my guy. I know I would not appreciate that as a client.
Un detras de camara que me dejo mareado, utiza en el futuro tu telefono para grabar tus videos y te aseguro que lograras buenos resultados
A camera behind that left me dizzy, use in the future your phone to record your videos and I assure you that you will achieve good results
What lens did you use most of the wedding? Zoom or Prime ?
35mm prime and 85mm prime. the GoPro is mounted on top of my 35mm. but im using both 35mm and 85mm 1.8 primes. I just got the 35mm 1.4. technically not a real noticeable difference honestly, but im planning on using this lens to capture 90% of weddings. and with a high megapixel camera like 42mp or 60mp with these Sony A7R's they have now, you can easily crop in on a 35mm focal length and get that 85mm look as if you were shooting on a 24mp camera with an 85mm lens. moral of the story, high megapixel camera + 35mm lens = all you need to shoot a full wedding day!
Do you also have a web site? Thanks, Davide

200k photographing weddings? Are you also having associate photographers sent to other weddings?
Hey Andrew, u think a 59 yr can be a wedding photographer 😊
honestly, no. not even trying to be mean or anything, but reality is to be successful in the wedding industry (at least here in southern CA) most couples are looking for a young attractive fun energetic photographer to capture and compliment there wedding and "hangout" with them during the day. I am approaching 30 years old and ive even noticed a bit of a demographic change as I get older, younger couples dont book me.
@@Andrewphoto not even if I look like Keanu Reeves and can bring down dozen bad dudes 😉
@@Andrewphoto - I did wedding photography in the Bay area for over 30 years. I did my last group of weddings until I was 71. Don't tell me that 30 years old is getting too old!!
What is that light the bridesmaid is holding around 9:49 ?
We use that light to fill in some light for photo and video. I asked if she could hold it for a quick second. It’s called the “Falcon Eyes Pocket Lite F7 RGB” from Amazon. It’s $100
Thanks so much
You've probably been asked this before, but is the 200,000 gross or net income? Thanks.
Great question, as a photographer I spend about $25k per year in expenses doing that volume of work.
gross
What’s your most used camera body for weddings?
I have 6 A7 iii cameras. But my main body is now Sony A7R V with a 35mm 1.4 Prime lens
I’m curious why does every photo make their skin tones look overly red?
im curious why your name is 10-4a5
Orange 🍊 photography company
It true 😂 this is what people wanted tho. My new stuff isn’t very warm at all. The trends are going back to normal natural colors
