If Newcastle do win a major trophy then Bruno will be immortalized and will be a forever legend at the club. Statues will be built in his honour. Bruno is a geordie.
We arnt winning shite with the squad we have atm. Played horrible against Bournemouth last night and first game season we didn’t deserve a win. Need to get rid of Longstaff
Bruno and Isak are the best players I've ever seen in a Toon shirt since I started supporting in the mid-90s. I couldn't possibly pick one over the other! Some great videos on your channel amigo. Looking forward to watching you grow. Subbed. A suggestion; if you can, do some videos about players from before the Premier League and Sky TV! I'd like to learn about legends of generations past.
single handedly? I love Bruno and ofc he had a massive influence but Trippier was huge that season and Joelinton transformed into a monster. Willock was outstanding and his goals helped hugely as did Dan Burn. It was a monumental collective effort
Yeah, it's a bit unnuanced, but it's a documentary which tend to skew towards shining the light more fully on the person it's about. And tbf, the lad does have a magic hat...
To say hes sacrificed his future is a stretch, hes still young enough to spend another year or 2 at Newcastle then move on to a team like Madrid. When he signed for Newcastle he didnt have offers from those clubs and it wouldn't of been the right time anyway, he probably would of had a lot less game time and coukd of been like many other top talent who've been lost in big squads of Madrid/barca. Moving to a team like Newcastle in the premier league was the perfect step up at that time. Even though Newcastle were under achieving they had just been took over by the saudis and had signed tripper from the Spanish champions so it was obvious they were the perfect project and would be going innthe right direction, and its proved to be the right decision as hes gained much more exposure and praise than he would of at Lyon. Other than this i enjoyednthe video. Some nice details on brunos past etc.
To put it in perspective, if he went to a Madrid or a Milan he could have won titles but at the end of his career he's just another cog in a machine who would be remembered but would fade away fairly quickly. Signing for Newcastle he is idolised he is Mr Newcastle United. If he wins anything with Newcastle he will be immortalised in history and most likely will have a statue built of him.
You may be right but that’s not always the case. Bruno is such a quality players that he could be legend at those clubs. They might be full of top talent but even then there’s still level of talent. Say, Ronaldo, Raul, Pirlo, Seedorf, Zidane, etc Those are players who solidify their own legendary status the top among the top. Bruno has ability to make something out of nothing, he can be more than a cog. He knows that I believe. However, he doesn’t want to be a legend. He wanted to be king. Newcastle is a chance for him to be king. All he has to do is the impossible, make something out of nothing, the crown is waiting.
I'd argue at this point he probably is and will be talked about in 20+ years in the same vein as the likes of ginola, asprilla, ferdinand, Cole etc etc... if he stays longer and wins something, he'll be at shearer levels of worship, if not even more so...
Very nice video, but I don’t really agree with the title(but tbf i understand why you did that and I don’t blame you at all). He joined a year after Newcastle became one of the richest clubs in the entire world and were on a clear upward trajectory, and in the last 4 years the lowest Newcastle finished was 13th. So not really a relegation club at that point historically sure I’ll agree

Enjoyed the vid except for one part: your language is unnecessarily complex at times. "What set him apart was his remarkable capacity to interpret and actualise coaching directives in a manner that transcended the conventional" I've heard less complex sentences in lectures about economics. It feels like you're trying to flex your vocabulary instead of telling a story effectively.

Hardly a sacrifice on thousands of ££££ a day and worship by thousands for playing 90 minutes of football a week... Will be away next season 100 %... Good player though ....
We need to stop building him up to be some kind of superhero. He's only 26. He could walk away at any time and double his money. And when he decides the time is right. He will.
He’d of walked already if that was the case 😂 he’s just been made captain & always kisses the toon badge & point at the fans then the ground & says I’m staying
@@DarrenDelaneyMcDel Oh he kisses the badge? Well that means he's staying forever. In case you haven't noticed, South American players are very theatrical. They roll around on the ground when somebody brushes against him, they wave hands when they don't get a decision, oh, and they kiss the badge a lot. He was only made captain to stop him from walking.

I don’t think you know what “Middle class” means. He’s from a working class background, and that’s why the fans love him. He can identify with them

If he stays for another 5 years and wins a trophy he will be a legend forever
Even if we didn't he would, and is and always will be a Toon legend.
Working class not middle class, great vid though
Bruno not the biggest Brazilian star in Newcastle ….. his dad is !

A pre defined league table is all that is preventing #NUFC from winning multiple honours. I recommend Bruno leaves to get the honours he deserves.
