Me too! That is the whole purpose of my channel is to help educate both Au pairs and host families how to participate in the program successfully! Thank you for watching! Cheers!
Love the mother-daughter team! I'd be interested in learning more about working out au pair schedules- how many hours, what types of activities and tasks, how much input from parents/au pair/children, how much flexibility, examples of a typical day/ week.
She is very cute! Charlie, I'm starting the process to be an au pair and I loved your advices! Thank you, and please dont stop with the videos, they help a looot 🥰 Affectionately, from a future au pair. 🇧🇷
Cute kid perspective! I think my daughter would have similar answers! Ideas are flowing between us, so stay tuned for a collaboration between theaupairmom and American Aupair Host Mom! =)
Thank you so much for your videos so informative my son wants to be an au pair this will help so much and i can see from the way you talk abt au pairs wth your daughter that no doubt you treat them as family.i so wish everyone could us learn and do the same and even au pair should belong and give back the same.
Wonderful! I have 2 friends that have “bro pairs”, in other words a male Au pair. They really are happy to have them. I wish him the best as he decides if this is a good path for him. Tell him to take his time making sure he found a really good family, and he less worried about the city he will live in!
Hello- I don’t know whether you will answer but I’m British and if a host mum wanted me to drive, I would need just a couple of driving lessons to get used to drive on the other side of the road- that might be hard and I might not get chosen or something- I just thinking the driving situation is a bit tricky and I think I need some advice and tips on it! Ps I LOVEEEE UR CHANNEL!!! 💖💖💖💖 such a wonderful person you are so kind!
I thought I answered this already, but maybe my phone did not like the answer. British candidates with good childcare experience are considered very strong candidates. So do not worry! First you speak English, probably better than most Americans. HaHa. Second Europeans tend to be the strongest drivers. I have experienced "driving on the wrong side of the road" as I myself was an exchange student in England, I studied and played football at St Mary's in Twickenham! While it is very confusing for a few weeks driving on the opposite side, the biggest thing to remember is what lane to turn into when turning. I had a little cheat sheet taped to my dashboard to help remind me. But after a few weeks, it was no problem. Thank you for the kind words about our channel. My au pair and I have fun making them!! Please let me know if there is other content you think would be helpful. Cheers!!!
Thank you! She was so excited to be in a video. She always asks me if she is “famous”. 🤣😂 I tell her maybe famous to the people who watch her video. Thanks for supporting our channel and making my daughter 😊!! Cheers!
Some questions I have are how involved are au pairs especially in your case? What are their duties? How long do you have an au pair? I’m kind of new to the concept! Ig: @k_makeup_16
Our Au pairs stay with us for 12 months. They have the option to extend for 6, 9, or 12 more months if they completed their education requirements. They are responsible for all things related to the children. Getting them ready for school, preparing their meals, organizing their spaced and laundry. Cheers!
I would like to see the following: 1. Au pair personal experiences and use them as guides for future au pairs! 2. Information regarding contract terms for future host families Thank you!
Andrea, You are the winner of the Amazon Gift card for out 100 subscriber Giveaway. I will contact you about getting the prize to you!!! Congratulations and thanks again for supporting my channel!!!
I love it 😍 these kind of videos are very helpful for au pairs who want to start their journey, thanks for advice. I would like to see videos about what is the key to have a successful interview with the family and do not have fears about if I Chose the right family or not, I mention this because I know many au pairs that talk with the family and they think it is the right one but once they come to their house they feel unhappy, so what are the key and crucial questions and aspects to talk about with the family. Besides, I think it would be very nice to see a video of “what I do with my au pair during the day” so future au pairs can have a clear idea about how is the experience. This would be also great to see a little bit of the American culture for raising children due to it is different in all countries, this is just have an overview and like a background of the life as an au pair with the kids and family. Congratulations for your videos! paularincon0499@gmail.com Iam_asunflower1 this is Instagram
