  • MOVIE FLOPS
There have been plenty of exciting movies hitting cinemas recently. But many of them have been flopping at the box office. Even movies with all the traditional smash hit ingredients like Indiana Jones and Mad Max are struggling to make their money back. So, um, I don't think there's one simple answer to that question, but maybe film producer Sandy Cameron knows! Sandy says audiences might also be getting tired of seeing the same stuff on repeat. Hang on, what about The Super Mario Bros Movie? Or Barbie? They didn't flop! Alright, well, what does the future of cinema have in store?
    KING CHARLES PORTRAIT
A portrait of King Charles has gotten an unexpected makeover. Animal rights activists vandalised the painting at a gallery in London yesterday, sticking a speech bubble and a picture of Wallace, from Wallace and Gromit fame, over the head of the king. The stunt was designed to highlight animal rights rules that activists say are being violated on farms in the UK, approved by the RSPCA, which King Charles is the royal patron of. The gallery says that the King's portrait is protected by a sheet of plastic, and wasn't damaged by the activists.
    DUMB PHONES
Recently, a new trend has been sweeping the globe, which involves people ditching their smartphones in favour of dumb-phones. They're also known as feature phones, which feature, well not very much, besides basic communication functions. But that's the whole idea! Many people are now choosing these phones to help focus, save money, and cut down their screen time, which experts say can have big benefits for curbing mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and stress. So, what do you think about this new trend? We sent Wren to find out.
    HUMANOID ROBOT FACTORY
This is a humanoid robot factory in China! Yep, if you've ever wanted your very own lifelike robot assistant, you can order one from here, with prices starting at a very affordable 313,000 bucks?! And if you're wondering what they can do, well, they can copy your expressions and movements, and uh, yeah that's about it for now.
    T-REX SKELETON
Now to Melbourne Museum, where a rare T-Rex skeleton has just arrived! According to the museum, it's the biggest and best T-Rex fossil to ever visit Australia. Its skull alone weighs 139 kilos! The full skeleton will go on display at the end of this month.
    PARAGLIDER
And finally, to the top of the oldest Ferris wheel in the world, in Vienna, Austria. Where daredevil athlete Roland Brunnbauer is about to jump! Paragliding his way to a patch of grass nearby, descending 65 meters in a world-first stunt that's never been done from this ferris wheel before.
