Why I believe traffic exist: People who are not in traffic think that they have all the time and space to drive. They may drive farther apart. But at this point they are only thinking about themselves. What most don’t think about in this situation, is that there are hundred of thousands of cars behind you in traffic. You and the cars around you are taking up as much space as you want as there is no traffic. There is no traffic because you and the cars around you are taking up space while people are clustered together in the back because there isn’t enough room, because someone in the front of that major cluster is going as slow as they want. Here is an example. |🚗----🚗------🚗------🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗| A single person can create traffic because of the mindset that they are top priority and the world revolves around them. Although this may not be the intention, this is the outcome. There may be other factors like an accident or a closed off road, but I think this is the main reason. Almost EVERYTHING you do has consequences, whether that consequence is to you are someone else. ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR ACTIONS!
@@nvmffs for 2 lanes or more that person is the person driving slow in the left lane He doesn't realize it but he's creating a crapload of traffic and putting not only himself but everyone else near him in danger
I don’t know where you live but in my state we are taught to leave one car length away for every 10mph in speed. So if it is a 60mph road the car in the front roll of the traffic have to accelerate slowly to build up that 6 car length distance.
I think for self driving cars, instead of needing to buy a whole new 70k+ car there should be a way to implement it to an already existing car, most cars can control the throttle via computer without the pedal at all, or perhaps get “smart pedals” installed in your cheap shitbox that you can only afford, and therefore we can have a more efficient(time wise) road system without needed everyone to invest, allowing it to happen sooner

I think she realised what i was gesticulating a few seconds later, hopefully she payed more attention from then on.
traffic is just horrible and really adds up to the mental state. you start your working day with it and end it with it and and it's really annoying. you can make it more bearable by listening to music or documentaries or whatever else but you'd really just do something else if you could. i had a job where it took an average of 40 minutes give or take to get to work, so that's 1 hour 20 minutes roughly per day that was wasted, 5 days a week that's 6 hours of just being in a bus and personally i really have to keep busy and do something i find productive and on top of that i'm a bit of a claustrophobic so it was really hard for me. using public transportation however is a lot easier since you don't have to also focus on driving on top of everything else. maybe you didn't get much sleep the day before or had a rough day at work, imagine driving in such a mental state. i wish there was something better that we could do about traffic to improve the quality of our lives
