With practice, getting the tupperware on and off doesn't take too long. You need to take off the right side cover like that to replace the transmission oil anyway. Just picked up an 07 RT-P and am changing all the fluids and filters plus a few other things.

BMW must do this on purpose. On my 1150RT you only have to remove the seats to get to the airfilter housing. Replacing it is a 10 minute job at most. I changed the airfilter on a 1200LC from a mate of mine, you have to take off nearly all Tupperware... It is not hard, but very time consuming. Will help the dealer to increase his service revenue... (if you do not do it yourself).
